• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Okay, so, the website that I, along with my friend, created is about discussing variations and continuations of different gaming titles. The url is as follows:

http://tobecontinued.forumotion.cc/

We are waiting to see if, once we grow larger, to get a sponsor and a domain name, but for now, this is it. Please feel free to give c, c, or cc. Please don't comment about how few visitors we've have.

And feel free to join as well.

Suggestion: Don't have a forum for every game.

I suggest condensing everything into one forum, having one thread for each series. You're not going to have too much activity anyway, so this is the best idea.

I think it would be a better idea to make all the 'variations' subforums of the other game forums at least, because it seems to be really redundant otherwise.

I'm not sure it's a good idea to have separate forums for each game, anyway. generally forums are added as the demand for them increases; it might be a good idea to have more broad sections like 'Nintendo' and 'Playstation', or something, because then if there's a significant amount of pokemon threads or something, you can make it a subforum under 'Nintendo'. If you separate them by console, you're also letting users make threads about games that aren't listed, which seems odd in the first place (there's nowhere for me to discuss Phoenix Wright, for example).

I'm not really sure why you have a Video Games forum when you have twelve forums dedicated to individual video games already...? There's also no introduction forum or thread. Not that I really like either of those things but they're probably what people are going to look for after registering.

I also don't understand why you've made amendments to the rules in a new post instead of editing the old one. That could be potentially misleading! If you can't edit posts (which you should be able to, as an administrator) then that's really strange for a forum. o.o

I suggest recommending this place around gaming sites (IGN, Gamespot etc) rather than here, because I think you'll garner more interest.

Kammington and ultraviolet both gave good advice; I won't repeat what they said but I agree.

Also: make sure you check your spelling. There's a few words right on the front that are misspelled, such as "guidlines," "ledgend," and "frum" to name a few (which should read "guidelines," "legend," and "forum" respectively).

A nice idea, though. I may have a few opinions to contribute about some games at some point or another.
