Barren World

You might’ve been a passing Pokémon. Or perhaps you were a trainer exploring a strange cave. For all the possibilities out there you could’ve been something else. Anyway, you found a mossy stone tablet attached to something, be it a tree, a rock or a gentle wave, and you cleared the moss off. When you did your fate was sealed to read it whether or not you knew it. Soon after the final line was read you collapsed into unconsciousness and felt something pick you up. The next thing you knew was that you were in Pallet town, or the ruins of some place that was once Pallet town. The sky is set at a faint blood red and the stars are visible. There is no grass and all the trees are skeletal arms reaching for the heavens. You look around and find you are not the only one there; several others not from your world are there too. Then you remember the tablet…


You move towards the pond edge and for the first time you realise that there is no life, not even a simple Pidgey glides above you. In the water the Magikarp that were once plentiful are now reduced to nothing. You wonder what brought you here and why when a voice echoes in your head: The city of evergreen. Answers will be there…You turn to look for the voice when a Rattata steps up to the water for a drink. As its tongue touches the water a Gyrados reaches out of the water and snaps it up in its jaw, its body glassy in appearance. The Rattata struggles wildly in the glassy Pokémon’s jaws until the colour in its eyes fades away to a dull grey. The Gyrados tosses the Rattata aside and dives back under the water, its body now slightly tinted the colour of a normal Gyrados.

In this world you find yourself surrounded by glass like creatures that drain the life from any they can. Never the less, you feel that if you follow the tablet’s instructions you can find out how to get home and what happened to this world. How you go about this is up to you.

Rules:
1. Weather and Colourless actions will be up to me and the Co-DM.
2. Keep it PG 13, Swearing is fine, but keep the romance at a limit.
3. Trainer or Pokémon are the two basic things you can be. Although they can vary to be different than the normal.
4. Second characters are allowed.
5. Keep the posts at least three sentances long.

Name: Flaze Shaan
Gender: Male
Age: 17
World Details: Flaze has lived in the barren world for as long as he can remember. The Colourless hunt him for sport and let him live despite their own hunger. He believes that if he doesn't leave they will start to grow weary of hunting him and finish him off.
Abilities/Skills: Due to living in the Barren world for so long he has grown accustomed to eating nothing for long amounts of times. As well he has learned to speak a basic form of the human tongue.
Detail: Of the Flareon species.
Personality: Flaze has a bit of a temper and will snap at any who don’t listen to his advice. Usually he will analyse any situation so he can make good decisions.
Biography: Flaze doesn’t remember anything about where he came from. He remembers waking up in pallet town and then being attacked by the Colourless. He was the only survivor of the group that came in with him and he dug himself a burrow beneath an old laboratory. Several other groups came through and he is unsure if they ever made it back to their world. When the most recent group of Pokémon and humans came around he came out of hiding, sick of being attacked by the Colourless. He decided to help this group and try to get back to his own world.
Description: Larger than normal in size, he has a stronger body than a normal Flareon. He has a scar running over his left eye. The fur on his head is light and sparks with flames at times. His tail is less bushy and stretched out farther than normal.

Name: Hex

Gender: Male

Age: 13

World Details: Before the incident with the mossy tablet, Hex was restricted to the Old Chateau in Sinnoh. But in the Barren World Hex was fairly comfortable, being a Ghost, although he was still unnerved by the lifelessness of the place. Being practically abandoned, there were plenty of places to hide in total darkness. Rarely anything came along from which to steal the life, though, leaving Hex slightly weakened. He was easily mistaken for one of the Colorless, since stealing life was a natural ability (and tendency) ...

Abilities/Skills: Having had plenty of practice licking-to-kill in the Barren World and before, Hex is more efficient at stealing life than some other Haunter. He can bring the victim's demise quicker, which might also be nice because it means the victim doesn't suffer for as long. He still can't kill someone by tapping them on the shoulder, though.

Detail: Hex is a Haunter.

Personality: Hex's natural personality is to act sneaky and discreet. He prefers not to be noticed unless he wants to be. An example of this situation would be to have a conversation (which is rare). Usually, though, he stays hidden in a solid obstacle until something alive comes along, and then he steals its life. Hex is a little antisocial and doesn't usually talk to anybody unless encouraged. Hex doesn't go around killing Pokemon pell-mell, though - he steals life when he's "hungry," but otherwise he leaves the potential victim alone.

Biography: Hex resided in the Old Chateau in Sinnoh for the first ten years of his existence (life isn't exactly the right word for a ghost Pokemon). Nobody much went into the Chateau, other than the occasional trainer and strong Pokemon. Due to this, he never got a lot of practice at stealing life until he was sent into the Barren World, where a Pokemon that just happened to wander along was far more common. Because of plentiful life sources and exploration opportunities, Hex got a lot of practice stealing life in the Barren World.

Description: Hex is a relatively normal Haunter, but the spikes on his sides are slightly longer than normal. His "tail" (if you could call it that) is shorter and more tucked in than average, giving him a rounder look.

Relationships: Hex prefers not to have any sort of relationships with anybody, since he might have to kill them later. He's apathetic towards most other people's relationships unless it eventually requires him to protect someone...

Name: Cali
Gender: Female
Age: 16
World Details: She lived in a forest she heard was called "Eterna City" She enjoyed it because she had special areas that were secluded from trainers and other Pokemon, that she had found. In these areas she concentrated her dark type attacks.

Abilities/Skills:
She can control her dark moves, like Dark Pulse and Faint Attack, better, meaning she can concintrate it and unleash it more powerfully.
Detail: She is a SHINY Umbreon! :3
Personality:
She tends to be shy around others. If she is just meeting you, she will retreat into her "shell", or become less talkative than normal. She can be loud and curious, more so then expected. She was often called "weird" due to her evolving without a trainer she loved. Also, if you make her agravated or so, she may smack you or throw something at you.
Biography:
She was always called "weird" back in the forest she lived in because she evolved into an Umbreon without the care of a trainer. She often traveled around her forest alone and this added to her shy nature, as when she encounterd another Pokemon or trainer, she immediatly took off in the other direction. As she was running one day she came across this odd tablet and she picked it up. As she read it she almost automaticly fell unconcious.
Description:
She is like most Umbreon, except she is a shiny Umbreon. Her blue rings on her body are a deeper blue. Her eyes, you can really only tell this in the nighttime, are much brighter red. Her body fur is also a darker gray color, pretty much black.
Relationships:
When she first sees Flaze, she is stunned by him. Then she just starts to get a crush on him and starts to become more independant.

Her being a shiny Umbreon also added to her being "weird"

Name: Jaceon Sado (It's pronounced 'Jason.' Goes by Jake.)

Gender: Male

Age: 17

World Details: Whenever Jaceon wasn't working on homework or at school, he'd seperate himself from the civilized world for a bit. He and his one pokemon, Toci, would train for extended lengths of time in a grove of trees on the western side of Ecruteak. It was only recently that he found the tablet, and he is still unfamiliar with the Barren World.

Abilities/Skills: Because of his long training sessions with Toci, He himself isn't exactly helpless, and he can defend himself relatively well.

Detail: Toci is a Lucario (Form Below)

Personality: Jaceon is a kind person, but he has trouble talking to people, mostly because he feels like he can't relate. And thus, he rarely helps people to their feet because he always feels too awkward. He'll brush off most insults and temptations, but on occasion he will become angered.

Biography: Despite that Jaceon grew up in a wealthy family, he never cared much for luxuries. He'd always go to the woods for enjoyment, for a few scratches on his knee, metaphorically speaking. When he turned ten, he accepted a Pokemon, but still stayed to finish school. This Pokemon was Toci, a riolu that his father had paid a pretty penny for. At the time, she was already four years old.

After Jaceon had a major run in with a few bullies, the two began to train together. They bonded quicker because of this, and both of them benefitted. Jaceon allowed the once rowdy Toci to walk freely during the whole day, save whenever she caused trouble, in which case, she'd be confined to a pokeball. In his Junior year, he found the tablet, and it was only luck that he had Toci in a Pokeball that particular day.

Description: Jaceon has brilliant green eyes, and dark, shaggy hair. He stands at about 5' 11 3/4''. He wears a green t-shirt under a white and blue plaid shirt, rolling up the sleeves when he gets hot. His jeans are dark blue, and a little frayed at the bottom. His shoes are black Chuck-Taylors.

Relationships: He thinks of Toci as his little sister more than his Pokemon.
And he's open to other relationships.

Another Form!

Name: Toci (That's Tochi)

Gender: Female

Age: 11

World Details: Though Toci lived in the large house that Jaceon's family had allowed her in, her true place of belonging is the grove in which they trained. Everything in her life seemed to revolve around that place, whether or not Jaceon was there. She's as confused by the Barren world as Jaceon, but is a little more willing to seek help.

Abilities/Skills: She has a talent with Aura, and is thus able to manipulate it in ways that are indeed extraordinary (Aura Weapons, limbs, etc.), though the effort is more taxing on her as the complexity increases.

Detail: She be a Lucario

Personality: Unlike Jaceon, she is very open to others, and gets very involved. She does tend to make decisions with no second thought, and in more than a few cases, it's gotten her into trouble. She could be, in a sense, seen as Jaceon's opposite, the two of them forming one whole.

Biography: In the first two years of her life, Toci was stuck in the confines of Goldenrod City. The third year brought an ambitious merchant who took her to Ecruteak, selling her to a strange family always trying to baby her. Due to her 'behavior issues,' she was later sold to the Sado family, who tried to get a professional to rehabilitate her. Only Jaceon managed in earning her trust, and eventually full friendship.

Description: By all appearances, she's a normal Lucario, but her Aura sensors (The 'bulby things' on the back of her head) are a bit longer than average, reaching just below her shoulder.

Relationships: She views Jaceon as her older Brother.
She's open to other stuff, to.

World details means more like what is your world like compared to the world in the anime/games. How is it different, is it different?
