ed: incidentally, what the hell, it'll only run on amd64 linuces? do people not mostly still use x86 or am I just out of date?
 
iirc it should run the Windows version fine under Wine; it's been forever since I've tried anything with PO, though.

(Technically Pokémon Laboratory is the "new Shoddy", isn't it? It's the successor, anyway.)
 
I've had no success with the Windows version and yeah, there's no official x86 packages which kind of sucks (and is why I haven't bothered).
