It might happen in the distant or not so distant future, but as the link says, it might be best to treat it as false until it's confirmed by Nintendo.

Plus it's not like the Pokemon Company to use the exact same graphics from one game to another. Plus, they've never made a game where a main character from the previous game is still the main character. (Not including Re-makes). If they re-make XD, it'd have different graphics, better graphics.

That explains why Stadium 2 reused the Stadium 1 pokémon models and Colosseum reused the Stadium 2 models and PBR reused the Colosseum models!
