Basically, this thread is to post the layout you would use for your castle defenses if you had a castle.

I'd have the inner layer where I live surrounded by massive stone walls, with the only access being a tunnel under the walls which could be flooded with sewerwater at any time. And drained, of course.
 
The layout would be based on the anatomy of an Charmeleon, with all but one of the tunnels leading to a pit with hungry baby godzillas living in it.

You didn't say it had to be an actual medivil style castle, did ya?
