The rainforest is a densely wooded area which is so humid that Fire attacks will turn into steam a couple seconds after it is released into the air. Besides that, it will be constantly raining, so the fire will be put out anyway. However, the soil is rich and Grass-types get a 2% health boost at the end of each round as well as a 5% attack boost after modifications are calculated. Although it is possible flying won't be as easy in the rainforest, as it's very crowded with thick trees and there will be mist in the air, which lowers accuracy by one. Flying-moves, although can be successfully performed, will have a 5% attack loss as it is very crowded and will be hard to do. Ice attacks will simply melt after a few seconds of being released into the humid atmosphere. Every 3 rounds flowers will open up and pokémon get 1 action to drink the nectar from the flowers and receive a 10% health boost.

I wasn't expecting a Stunky.. oh well. My fault.

LASGO KETA SHROOMISH WOOO

Spore. Every turn, until it hits. :P [Bad idea.] If it manages to work this turn, then use a Wake-Up Slap after that. If there's an empty slot for the last turn then Giga Drain if Stunky attacked, or Growth if you didn't receive too much damage. If any turn he uses Protect or some sort of move preventing an attack use Growth.

Spore / Growth ~ Spore / Wake-Up Slap / Growth ~ Spore / Wake-Up Slap / Giga Drain / Growth

There's probably a loophole somewhere, but oh well, that's my fault.

Keta the Shroomish feels right at home and quite comfortable in the hot and humid rainforest, smiling a little to himself as he feels the soft, springy ground beneath his feet and the pattering of rain against his body. This is just about the perfect place to battle, in his opinion, and he's certain that nothing PichuK could possibly send out to challenge him could ruin his mood. When a foul-smelling odor cuts through the thick and heady aroma of the rainforest flowers, however, his high spirits fall just a little bit. That sort of smell never accompanies anything pleasant. The Stunky that appears a few feet away from him flinches a little as the rain hits her for the first time, but she regains her composure quickly; the only thing standing between her and getting out of the wet is a silly little Shroomish that shouldn't be too difficult to handle at all. She growls and paws the ground, glaring a challenge at the slightly nervous Keta and anxious to get started.

Round One: Begin!

Stunky takes a moment to try and shake a little of the wetness out of her fur before focusing on the area directly in front of her. Or, to be more accurate, the area directly behind her. She turns her back to Keta and squirts a thick, purple liquid from the base of her tail. Keta flinches, expecting a spray of noxious fluid to hit him full in the face, but it never comes--Stunky's purple mess simply spills all over the ground by her back paws, sitting in an amorphous, smelly heap that the rain does little to dilute or wash away. When she figures she's expelled enough of the stuff she turns around again and sticks her forepaws into the sludge, sculpting and squashing it into the approximate shape of a second skunk. She leaves her paws in it for a little while longer and grunts, pushing a small amount of her life force into it. As soon as the sludgy skunk twitches, blinks and then turns its blank eyes on the Shroomish in front of it, the real Stunky appears to wink right out of existence.

Keta frowns and stares at his new "opponent". It's all... weird and goopy and doesn't look like a lot of fun to touch, really. Hoping against hope that he won't have a reason to, he takes a deep breath and puffs a flurry of whitish spores out of the top of his head. Unfortunately, the constant rainfall keeps the spores from getting them very far, plastering them to the loamy earth only a few inches in front of Keta. The faux Stunky simply continues to stare vacantly at him, totally unmoved by the failed attack.

The genuine article, on the other hand, has been observing the battle from her secret hiding place and is quite pleased. It's not like the little mannequin skunk would've been affected by the spores anyway, but it's always heartening to see one's opponent make a fool of itself. More than happy to add insult to injury, Stunky slips out of her hiding place, trots over to the pouting mushroom, spins around and gleefully gives him the face-full of gunk he'd been dreading earlier. The sludge drips down the shocked Keta's front and starts to seep in through his pores; he blanches and shudders as it stings his skin, already starting to feel a little ill. Stunky disappears again before he can really react. Quite annoyed and upset by this time, Keta releases another puff of spores in the substitute's direction. As before, the rain dampens the attack before it can reach its target. All Keta can do is sigh and hope the rain will wash off some of the poison before it can do more serious damage.

And wash it away is exactly what the rain does. The falling water feels good against Keta's tender face and clears much of the goo away, but it is too late to prevent the poison from taking its toll. Before Keta can really take the time to enjoy his slightly improved condition, however, the real Stunky bounds out of nowhere and heads straight for him. Keta stumbles backward, trying his best to duck the misfortune he knows is coming, but Stunky is too fast for him. This time the sludge that comes shooting out of her rear is thicker, darker, more foul... and there's a lot more of it. It splatters all over the Shroomish at high speed, burning much worse than the toxic slime from before and battering him back even further. By the time the rain washes off enough of the sludge to free up Keta's watering eyes, Stunky is gone again.

Keta's bottom lip trembles slightly as he glares through the rain at his foe's motionless body double. He knows by now that the rain is only good for rinsing stuff away (except for the substitute, which appears to be made of something more water-resistant than the rest of Stunky's excretions) and that another spore-spreading attempt is probably worthless. Still, he doesn't want to disobey orders and doesn't know what else he's supposed to do. Deciding to use a different approach this time, he skitters forward and stops as close to the sticky construct as he dares before releasing a third puff of spores. The end result is largely the same, however; the rain flattens most of the white powder against the ground before it ever reaches its target. The few spores that do manage to land on Stunky's substitute simply stick to it and sink harmlessly beneath its surface, leaving it still unfazed and unimpressed.

Ref's Notes
-Dry, floating particles like spores don't travel very well in the rain, causing all three instances of Spore to fail.
-Substitute technically doesn't "prevent" attacks, so I'm assuming you wanted Keta to go ahead anyway.
-For future reference, you can only order a maximum of three conditionals per action.
-How exactly do the "healing flowers" work? At what point do they open, exactly (the beginning of the first action of the third round, last action of the third round, first action of the fourth round, etc.)? And do they close again after that one action or what?
-PichuK attacks first next round.

Hurrah, little Skunk-thing! We're doing good so far.
Okay. Taunt on the first turn, let's cripple this thing.
Next, your sub might be feeling a bit weak -- that's okay. Torment, you'll be able to really screw up this mushroom on legs while sub is up
ANYWAY that mushroom is going to want to kill you. Quite badly. Be very careful -- it's probably going to slam it's face-body into you. Whatever. Let it get a little bit (!) closer and hit it in the head with a Sludge Bomb.

...Y'know, I'm starting to sympathize with this mushroom. It's been hit with poison muck from the behind of a skunk. I'm trying to imagine what it'd smell like.

Taunt ~ Torment ~ Sludge Bomb (wait for it to begin attacking)

I'M SORRY KETAAAAAA

Taunt? Okay. Use a Headbutt! :D Then, before Mister Stunky can use Torment, use Seed Bomb and try to blow Stunky away so the Torment won't be effective. [I don't know how that's going to work, but w/e.] By the I believe the Substitute might be gone, and he's going to wait to use Sludge Bomb. I want you to 'charge' up a Spore, get near Stunky so that it doesn't have to travel far, and then launch the Spores. Do it right in front of Stunky so that he doesn't have time to turn around and launch his Sludge Bomb, and plus he can inhale the spores more easily.

Headbutt ~ Seed Bomb ~ Spore [charge and then Spore in face]

Umm, the flowers open up once every three rounds, right? Well, they open up for the entire round at the beginning of the first round, and then close at the end of the last action. They have the entire round to drink some nectar, but only for one action so that they don't slurp up too much. :]

Round Two: Begin!

Reappearing beside her gooey body double, Stunky turns around and presents her tail to the miserable Keta again. The Shroomish flinches instinctively, anticipating more noxious sludge, but the little purple skunk simply shakes her backside very rudely at him. Mocking laughter and insults accompany the impudent gesture, andKeta bristles; no, he does not suck at battling! It isn't his fault that he hasn't been able to hurt her yet; what's he supposed to do about that stupid substitute?! Why, Stunky's making him so angry he just wants to smash her into a million smelly pieces! Keta screams and runs forward, head lowered, but Stunky slips away before he can reach her and he plows right into the skunk-shaped glop. The purple mess makes a nasty splortching noise as he collides with it and an equally nasty sucking noise as he pulls himself away, slightly sticky. The substitute is now sporting a large, concave area in the side of its head, but it's still intact.

But Stunky isn't finished with him yet, oh, no. Understandably miffed about the dent in her doppelganger, she reappears again and proceeds to shout more obscenities at her opponent. Insults come down hard as the rainfall, and Keta is absolutely infuriated. He takes a deep breath and inflates his little body, as though he is about to give Stunky the cursing-out of her life... but instead of a stream of expletives shooting out of his mouth, a tightly-packed cannonball of bright green seeds shoots out of the top of his head. The seeds detonate on contact with the substitute, flinging bits of shell and partially-germinated shoots everywhere and finally reducing the construct to a purple puddle. Keta pants and glares at the spot where it stood as Stunky is booted out of her hiding place and back out into the rain. The Poison-types naturally pouty face gets a little poutier; aww, and she was just starting to dry off properly...

Well, if her substitute has to go away then Stunky will just have to make up for it with more sludge, yes? She moves just a little closer to her foe (she doesn't want to get too close; he looks really mad and a little scary) and then presents her bottom to him again. Keta is too upset to worry about trying to duck this time, and so he is completely unprotected from the stream of poisonous fluid that Stunky launches at him. By now, the Shroomish is so angry that he can't even see straight (let alone the goo obstructing his vision) or think straight; all desire to carry out any commands that don't involve ripping Stunky limb from limb is gone, and Keta spends the next few minutes screaming the skunk's ears off instead. Stunky flinches and backs up a little again. Sure, she's got the upper hand, but... damn this thing is ticked off.

-Keta was still taunted on the last action (Taunt lasts for three actions in ASB, not two) and so he refused to use Spore.
-Crowned Clown attacks first next round.

I suck :D

Seeing as Taunt lasts three actions, I'm guessing you're not Taunted anymore, are you, Keta? Since you were taunted, though, you really want to throw a good punch at that Stunky, right? Use a Swords Dance to boost that fightin' spirit! Oh, and get away from Stunky while you're at it, if you see him charging up another Sludge Bomb. If you're still Taunted [as says in your Status] use Frustration. If he uses Protect or whatever move that cancels out, use Double Team, use some of that fighting energy to run; if you're taunted still use Facade. If he's a Substitute or is creating one use Frustration. Then, if the Substitute's still there or he's making it this turn, use another Frustration; if not, use Facade.

Round Three: Begin!

A shrill, deafening noise cuts through the rainforest and, amazingly, actually manages to drown out Keta's vehement screaming. Stunky shrieks and screeches as loudly as her little lungs will allow, and Keta finds himself shrinking back and wincing in spite of his anger. The sudden blast of noise caught him completely off guard, and he feels a little dazed and alarmed (not to mention the lovely ringing in his ears). The little green mushroom is not so deterred, however, that he is willing to back off and let Stunky have a breather. Oh, no, sir. Keta is still hopping mad, and he makes sure Stunky knows it by giving her a demonstration. Up and down, left and right, back and forth he bounces and scurries, working himself into an adrenaline-fueled frenzy as he dances. Energy surges through his little body, and Keta allows himself a quick, nasty grin. Now he knows he's strong enough to take down that smelly, screaming skunk.

More unnerved than ever by Keta's bizarre performance, Stunky resolves to get rid of her opponent before he can do anything else scary and potentially dangerous. Another gout of noxious sludge sprays out of her rear and splatters over the livid Shroomish's face. Unwilling to take this lying down this time, Keta lets out another violent scream and then charges forward. Stunky doesn't have her substitute to block for her this time, and so she takes the full force of the attack. Keta slams into her unprotected body and bites, kicks and butts for all he's worth, all of the pain and frustration brought on by his poisoning and repeated dousings in toxic goo. Stunky yelps and wails, shrinking under the onslaught of blows; she wasn't expecting to take such a beating at the hands of a little, stubby-legged spherical thing.

Stunky slinks backward, eyes wide with fear. No way is she going to get that close to this little psychopath again. She feels very nervous about turning her back to Keta, but she steels herself and does it anyway; maybe if she hits it enough times, it'll faint and leave her alone. She slings another sludge bomb at her foe, hoping against hope that it will deter him. Unfortunately for her, it does not. Stunky did not back away as far as she could have, and it takes Keta no time at all to reach her and set into her again. He batters away at her purple body once more, screaming and howling as he goes, and when he finally retreats Stunky is sporting quite a few hidden but very nasty bruises.

*sigh* Crowned Clown is disqualified and the match goes to PichuK. PichuK gets $8 for winning and Stunky gets 1 exp. Crowned Clown gets no money for the disqualification and cannot make or accept new challenges until January 5th, 2009, but Keta gets 1 exp. I get $5 for reffing.
