So I challenged Fantina's gym with a Drifloon/Drifblim today and fighting-type attacks seemed to hit him. As a ghost-type, I thought that he was immune to this type of attack. What's going on?
 
It's either a glitch or you did one of the following:

~You used Foresight/Odo(u)r Sleuth
~You used a Pokemon with Scrappy as an ability.
~The attack in question wasn't really a Fighting-type move :/

You can give some more details as to what happened.
 
Drifloon and Drifbilm are part Flying, aren't they?

Well, Low Kick and Karate Chop hit Phineas (Nickname, based from Phineas Fogg). Some of them used Foresight, so that might have been the solution. I'll check again.

On a different note, don't you just hate that Lucario in the third gym? I trained Phineas up for it and then it suddenly knows Metal Claw.
 
If they use Foresight, then yeah, they'll be able to hit your Drifloom/Drifblim. :/

I owned that lucario with my chimecho. XP

Am I the only person in the world who likes chimecho enough to train one?
