Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Business Approval Office

They represent the cost to provide whatever good/service your shop offers. In the real world, this would be things like labor costs, material costs, advertising, and so on. The overhead represents the cut of your income that goes to the bank for a given service. So if somebody bought a $10 move from you, you would keep $5 of it and $5 would go to the bank.

Basically they make it hard to get rich quick.

Would it be possible to make a Safari Zone business or would that be too similar to other businesses working right now? Prices would be determined by the Pokémon's PRO price and their rarity, averaged out with others, with areas and such.

Chief you're making me jealous again and again

Cosmic's Archeology Museum

At the far North-East corner of Asber, at the end of a small and barely noticeable path made of white bricks, stands a large portal made of what seems to be marble, but that is far too damaged and fissured to tell without doubt. The portal opens like a gaping mouth on an obscure tunnel that seem to dive in earth.
One that would have the guts to walk inside would soon arrive in a room only lighted by fire torches on the walls with numerous glass cages containing stones of various shapes and colors and some pokémon fossils that would make a collector pee in his pants out of jealousy.
A teenage guy stands next to those glass cages. His sharp blue gaze is piercing you suspicion. "What do you want?"
"..."
"If you are not here to dig, leave. If you are, well..."

Cosmic's Archeology Museum offers research services. Here, you will have access to areas proper for fossil hunting and will have to choose between types of tools. Make the right choice.

The Dryed Lake

This is where you can find most fossils of aquatic pokémon. The tunnel of the museum resurfaces to a large plain where few cactuses and shrubs are scattered. Some desertic pokémon live there.

---Common (20% chance each):

Sandshrew, Skorupi.

---Uncommon (10% chance each):

OKAY THE WORK IS IN PROCESS RIGHT NOW IM NOT FINISHED JUST GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THAT

isn't "Dried" spelled with an i, not a y?

To common I would add Geodude, Baltoy, and Diglett.

And to Uncommon, I would add, well, pokemon. Namely Cacturne, Anorith, Lileep, Trapinch, and Hippopotas.

Also I might add another area or two, perhaps offer something other than ground and rock-type pokemon. (and shut up about skorupi I saw it)

NOTE FOR CHIEF ZACKRAI:

I made this thing primarly for Rock types and fossils and stones, adding a few other pokémon to spice things up.

It's Cosmic's Archeology Museum, not Cosmic's free-for-all Rainbow Safari Game

I know, I didn't want to be rude, just exposing my point on why I decided to refuse your advices. Sorry if I sounded rude, it's kinda hard to communicate emotions on the internet =/

EDIT: There are Mankey and Exeggcute and Tropius and Kecleon

EDIT: At the end, I listened to your advice... But I dont want to have to much actual living pokes

I have a totally not going to be approved idea for a business that would come into effect upon the release of BW in ASBer.

Pwnemon's Totally Legal Dream World Excursions

As you walk down the main street of ASBer on your way to the Pokemon Registration Office, you look to your right and notice a peculiar looking building. From what you can tell, it's a shop, but it's dimly lit and looks like it's dilapidated and falling down. Intrigued, you hesitantly push open the front door, where a smiling teen who doesn't look exactly in his right mind greets you.

"Hey," says the kid, who never reveals his true name, only going by the alias Pwnemon. "I see you saw that we're newly open for business! Welcome to my Totally Legal Dream World Excursions shop, where we can take you and a Pokemon of your own choosing on a three day tour of an alternate dimension! The price may be high, but it's definitely worth it, as it's not often you get to visit a new universe!"

He explains that the point of the shop is to influence your Pokemon to learn an ability that is usually only possessed by natives to this alternate dimension or their offspring. However, with his dimensional traveling equipment, you can visit the Dream World and teach your own pokemon this ability for a large sum of cash. He explains that although the price does sound incredibly steep, there's actually a large overhead to power the equipment, and that your Pokemon still gets to keep their experience and signature attributes, so it's actually a great deal!

Though this child looks a bit like a mad scientist, you decide that in the end the possible benefits outweigh the risks and so let him sit you in two of the six padded chairs and inject you with anesthesia as he powers up his machinery (he's very protective of his secret.) When you awaken, you find yourself in an alternate dimension populated with strange pokemon- Tyranitar that do not make sand storms, Breloom with finesse, and even Blaziken that seem to accelerate as they walk. Eagerly you ask Pwnemon to show you to a colony of your Pokemon's species, and quickly he escorts you. Amazed by their exoticism, you agree to let your pokemon go through a 3-day vigorous training regimen to learn this ability, even though they will lose their old one.

The three days pass quickly before you are led back to the building, looking even more out of place in its new habitat, and are administered more anesthesia as Pwnemon again fires up his machines, bringing you back home with your new ability on your Pokemon. He then shows you the price.

Price List

Naturally, heavier Pokemon require more anesthesia, although the equipment charge is the same. Ergo,

(Price/Overhead)
Pokemon under 50 kg - $10
Pokemon between 50 and 100 kg - $12
Pokemon between 100 and 200 kg - $13
Pokemon over 200 kg - $15

Inb4 not accepted

Do you have an actual attribute made up yet, Pwnemon? Because I had a similar idea once (it involved a musharna taking you to the Dream World instead) and maybe I'd kind of like to bandwagon of the 'internship' that's been kind of talked about lately and maybe try to write it for a tiny cut? If that's even possible.

Would it be possible to make a Safari Zone business or would that be too similar to other businesses working right now? Prices would be determined by the Pokémon's PRO price and their rarity, averaged out with others, with areas and such.
You mean like an RP kind of thing? If so, yes. If not, elaborate.

Those are some exorbitantly high prices for very low chances at success. You can raise the chance of finding something or lower the price if you like, or I guess it's okay otherwise but seriously, who would pay for that?

@Negrek, I think I understand what you understood really wrong. When I say "Uncommon (7%/Run), I mean that each item/pokémon on the list after has a 7% chance of being discovered each run, which means that in the first two areas, you are 100% guaranteed to get something. That is why the prices are so high. I lowered them a little, though, but after this post, im guessing you'll want me to raise the costs again, since some of those items are >£15.

Ah, I see. Then in that case yes, you will definitely need to raise prices for the first two areas.

I'd also be wary about giving out any sort of body/move mods in the final area, which is what you seem to be implying the statue prizes are. Pokémon, items, etc. are good because if you get one you don't like you can just give it away or sell it. What if you don't want whatever the super special prize is supposed to be? What if it just won't work with any of your pokémon? Kind of a major letdown.

So now that Gen V Pokémon are officially added to the system, am I allowed to update the Game Corner prizes to include them?
