    I think that if you were to implement an eight-gym system You'd take the top eight contestants in the 2011 Tournament, then give the first-place winner the eighth gym and let him choose his type the second place winner would get the seventh gym and choose whatever types are left and so on

    By legendaries, I mean the weaker ones, such as the legendary trios, Jirachi, etc.

    I think that the winner of the 2009 League Championship should get a legendary to add to their team. Or even a rare Pokemon of their choice. It gives them something other than bragging rights.
