CRITS. Yes. One of my major irks with this is that it's way too dark. The contrast between the three colours is insane, and makes the sprite really, really painful to look at (for me, at least). ^ Let me say this: Revamps are not Recolours. You do not use the eraser trick to make a revamp. To be honest, they're not revamps. At all. You might want to find a tutorial or something and use it until you get the hang of it. (The main site has one, btw)- PichuK

Let's get some real comments, here. Lesse... Grimdour: One wing's orange part is larger the other's, the beak is pretty bumpy and the outlines don't give it justice. It also looks as if it would be very 'clunky' if it was shut, while Ho-oh's beak is pretty streamlined... uhhh.... the first...- PichuK

you have not made a new spriting style, be it siamese, inferno, rotomization, tesselation or even splicing everything with altaria. someone else has most probably done it before you. edit: and neither has your friend- PichuK

Revamp =! Recolour Revamp =! Recolour Revamp =! Recolour Revamps involve scratch-editing the shading and outlines to get something that looks like a rse/frlg/dpp sprite, and a little less 2d. If you're revamping a rse/frlg/dpp sprite, you're making the shading/outlines look better. Recolouring...- PichuK

Looks good. The frames flow nicely, but there is a mysterious white blob between the fingers in frames... 2 and 3? that you forgot to transparise. As for the style, it's pulled off well, but the eyes are awkward and the idea isn't /that/ orginal. Doesn't mean it doesn't look nice, though.- PichuK

The devamp is fine, but there's some weird stuff going on with the revamp. The tails and 'hair' look odd, as the outlines don't really compliment eachother (eg. there's a huge lump of orange outline at the base of the tail) You also need to change the shading on revamps. A revamp is not a...- PichuK
