Arena: The Extremely Large Blueberry Pie

The Extremely Large Blueberry Pie, is, as its name suggests, an extremely large blueberry pie about 50 feet in diameter. The battle starts with the pie freshly baked and out of the oven, its delicious golden brown crust still hot and perfect. It’s a bit squishy to step on, due to the lake of delicious, sweet blueberry filling underneath. The crust is easily broken; any Pokemon weighing more than 60 lbs will automatically break the crust and sink into the blueberry filling below. Any powerful (special or physical) attack forcing downwards on the pie crust will break the crust, too. The pie is in a very large metal pie pan, so if any Pokemon happens to sink through the pie for some reason or another, they will land on the steel pie pan instead of falling through.

Of course, being freshly baked, the pie crust will be very hot and deal 2% damage to any Pokemon on it each action for the first three rounds. The pie crust will have successfully cooled down on the fourth round, and won’t deal anymore damage. The blueberry filling, however, will deal 3% damage to any Pokemon in it for the first four rounds, and 1% damage for the rest of the battle, since it contains heat better than the crust.

The blueberry filling is a thick and delicious mix of blueberries, sugar, and spices, and the Pokemon can be ordered to spend an action eating the filling for a 25% chance to restore 2% health. However, due to it being too hot, the filling cannot be eaten during the first four rounds.

All Pokemon are allowed, but Pokemon required to be in the water (Magikarp, Wailmer, etc.) will be having a tough time trying to swim through the blueberry filling. And since Wailords will fill up more than half the battlefield, they're going to have a tough time, too.

Notes: The referee and trainers are standing on floating platforms above the pie, as to not disturb the battle.

All right! Milo, you're up.

Let's go defensive for now. Make a 10% Substitute, then run around with Agility a few times, see how Zigzag responds.

Substitute (10%) ~ Agility ~ Agility

Well, since you're faster, Thunderwave the Spinarak and paralyze it. Then let's also go defensive and make a 10% Substitute. Follow it up with a Double Team, 3 clones.

Thunderwave ~ Substitute (10%) ~ Double Team (3 clones)

It's not every day that you run across a blueberry pie fifty feet in diameter, cooling unattended out in a clearing as though it's fallen from the sky. The delicious scent of freshly-baked pie lingers heavy in the air around the bizarre sight, and a few bold pokémon linger nearby, considering whether or not to go closer to the unfamiliar object. The trainers that have stumbled across the pie have no such reservations. They know exactly what to do with a gigantic pie that seems to have appeared from nowhere and which is still piping hot--have a battle on it, of course!

First to show is Crazy Linoone, the mastermind behind this scheme, lugging with her what look like the tops of three small, round coffee tables. Setting the stack of discs on the ground, Crazy Linoone bends down to press a couple of concealed buttons on the side of the top one. It rises into the air with a quiet hum, and Crazy Linoone steps aboard, guiding the platform up until it hovers well above the pie.

For a few minutes, Crazy Linoone has nothing better to do than zoom around the clearing on her platform, but soon Chiropter appears from the trees, squinting up at his opponent and then turning his eyes to the platforms still on the ground. Taking the next, he floats up to a level with Crazy Linoone, and the two split up, heading for opposite sides of the pie to wait for the referee.

When Negrek at last puts in an appearance, grumbling as usual, she spends a while trying to figure out how to start up the last platform before joining the trainers in the air. A bit shaky on her aerial perch, she wobbles as she looks from Crazy Linoone to Chiropter. "Okay, let's get started. Release your pokémon!"

On Crazy Linoone's half of the pie a small, spiky-furred zigzagoon takes shape and almost immediately begins shifting weight from paw to paw as the heat radiating from the pie crust beneath her registers. Across the arena, Milo the spinarak faces a similar problem, though with twice as many feet to keep cool. Whereas in most battles the two pokémon usually spend the pregame sizing up the competition, Zigzag and her bug opponent seem far more interested in avoiding burns. "Trainers ready?" the referee calls, not wanting the pokémon to suffer any longer than necessary (by giving them the go-ahead to savage one another). "Let the match begin!"

Round One

Crazy Linoone (OO)
zigzagoon
Zigzag (F)
Health: 100%
Energy: 100%
- Dancing around on top of the pie. A little nervous.

Chiropter (OO)
spinarak
Milo (F)
Health: 100%
Energy: 100%
- Scuttling around like mad.

Sparks sizzle through Zigzag's fur as the zigzagoon powers up a quick thunder wave, hoping to slow Milo down before the spinarak can get up to speed. Milo is already working on an attack of her own, spewing glowing thread from her mouth that she begins weaving into an intricate wireframe sculpture as the incredibly sticky thread begins drying. She isn't fast enough at creating her double to avoid Zigzag's attack, though. A thin bolt of electrical energy leaps from zigzagoon to spinarak, rattling the arachnid with disruptive charge. Her numerous legs seize up, twitching and shivering uncontrollably. The painful consequences of being stationary in this particular arena are a good motivator, though, and the spider forces her body into line, working her front legs madly as she sculpts a substitute from her string, the rear ones shuddering jerkily up and down on the hot pie. Her substitute at last takes on life as light gleams in the threads that criscross the areas where its eyes would ordinarily be, and it twitches a bit as Milo backs away from it. The spinarak immediately resumes dancing around in full, much more jerkily than before, but the substitute, not having such an instinct for preservation, just sits where it is and presently begins giving off a smell akin to burning plastic.

Now it's Zigzag's turn to match Milo sub for sub, spreading her energy through the pie below her and watching as cracks run through its crust, which presently starts buckling upwards and oozing filling just in front of her. The shape of a zigzagoon takes form out of the crumbs and juice, bound together by silver strands of light that criscross its "skin" in a messy tangle of radiance. Zigzag darts forward and proceeds to admire her substitute, skirting the hole in the crust caused by its creation, then scoops a gobbet of stray filling off its side and flicks it straight at her trainer. The blob of blue muck is messy to catch and scalding to hold, but it contains a single intact berry--good, perhaps, for later resale, if Crazy Linoone can restrain herself from eating it once it's cooled down some. As for the substitute itself, it stands where it is and endures the inspection without complaint. The burning filling of which it is composed is already starting to sear through the energy lines that hold it together, though, meaning that even if Milo ignores it, it can't last indefinitely.

Meanwhile, Milo takes off, scuttling towards the perimeter of the pie. The spinarak is only too happy for an excuse to keep moving atop the scalding crust, but paralysis makes it a bit difficult to break into a run of any sort. The spinarak nevertheless does her best to limber up, scuttling for all her might around the edge of the pie tin, her substitute scrambling along behind.

As the bugs run around and around the outside of the pie, Zigzag takes over its interior for her own warm-up routine. With Milo circling, somewhat faster now, on the outside, the zigzagoon begins dashing around in circles of her own, though she's much, much faster than the spinarak at this point. She moves so quickly that she's no more than a blur of brown fur rocketing around the middle of the pie. As she slows down, it looks as though there's not one, but four zigzagoon chasing after one another, and when Zigzag at last pulls to a halt, panting a bit but looking pleased nonetheless, the illusion doesn't dissipate. Milo, running ever-faster around the edge of the pie, is looking quite outnumbered by this point, but she's far too focused on her own attacks to care. By now she's moving more or less at her normal speed, despite her paralysis, but her substitute is starting to flake and crumble, blackened and flagging. The spinarak is quite tired as she finally slows and strikes out towards the middle of the pie again, prepared to engage the enemy once more with her newly-regained speed and the remnants of her substitute to protect her.

There is a zigzagoon-sized hole in the pie crust behind Zigzag's substitute, which exposes the pie's gooey interior.

Final Notes
- There would be no way for the substitutes to protect the pokémon from the pie's heat while they performed their attacks, and substitutes aren't immune to terrain effects, so both pokémon and substitutes took damage from the hot pie crust.

Hmmmmmm berry..... *drools*

Uh, right. *stuffs berry in pocket* Thanks, Zig! Let's start with Defense Curl, follow with a Rollout attack. Just keep rolling around for the next few turns~ If Rollout was forced to stop for some reason, start another round of Rollout. After all, that spider can't keep on Protecting~

Defense Curl ~ Rollout ~ Rollout

We do get to eat this thing once we're done battling, right?

Okay, um... Start off with a Curse, then throw a Spider Web at her - I'm not sure how well that'll work what with the heat and all, but might as well try. Your Sub should still be holding by then, so don't worry about Rollout. Finish up by using Baton Pass to switch with Tuari.

If you're paralyzed during the first round, use Curse instead of Spider Web.

Zigzag curls in on herself, tucking her tail between her legs and exposing nothing but spiny fur to the outside world as she buries her face in her chest. Meanwhile, Milo wants to increase her defenses, too, but the spider can feel her treacherous muscles contracting, freezing her in place and rendering her incapable of choking out the necessary incantations. Highly perturbed, she does her best to relax. Ultimately, though, her situation is just too uncomfortable for her to get much rest, though she does feel a little bit better, and her muscles eventually start to loosen up a bit.

Unfortunately, by that point Zigzag's got her next attack going. Rolling across the pie at an unhurried pace, the zigzagoon plows right over Milo--or she would have, if the disintigrating string substitute hadn't managed to shove its stiff master out of the way. How it knows which of the four tumbling zigzagoon is the real Zigzag is a mystery, but like any good substitute, it gets the job done despite its decrepit state. The rollout attack is, at this point, less than incredibly powerful, but it's easily enough to crush the weakened substitute flat. Meanwhile, Zigzag's own substitute struggles along behind her. By this point, most of its support has burned away, and it leaves messy puddles of filling behind as it runs along the pie's crust, growing ever smaller itself.

Milo clacks her mandibles a couple of times, shaking out her achy legs and preparing for an attack, now that she can move. Standing still on the burning pie isn't going to be comfortable, but at this point, the spinarak is resigned to this battle being uncomfortable no matter what she does. Putting her two front legs together, the spider begins to hiss out a raspy incantation, beseeching some dark creature to bestow its power upon her. In the background, Zigzag is rolling around the edge of the pie, picking up speed. At one point, she rolls through the hole that was opened up in the creation of her substitute. Fortunately, the zigzagoon isn't heavy enough to sink through the viscous filling and just keeps going, but another large berry gets stuck in her gooey fur--it looks as though Crazy Linoone's acquired another treasure for later sale.

Meanwhile, Milo glows a brilliant purple, her body bulging grotesquely as it swells, her chitinous armor thickening, her muscles strengthening in a matter of seconds. Though the spinarak is left more sluggish than before, the rush of new power is nevertheless exhilarating--up until the point where Zigzag crushes her with another rollout pass. The zigzagoon doesn't have a lot of mass compared to most, but she's worked up quite a spin, and Milo is soundly squashed despite her new defense boost. The spider wriggles and twitches unhappily as Zigzag's three clones go wheeling past in their master's wake, though the substitute is no longer a part of their entourage. The artificial creature has been left behind at last, now no more than a forlorn pile of homeless filling out near the pie's outer rim.

It's to this rim that Zigzag returns after her attack, circling again to pick up still more speed. Meanwhile, Milo gratefully condenses her energy, collapsing her consciousness in a familiar way to return herself to her pokéball. The spider disappears in a burst of red light, but in her wake is left a pulsing circle of purple light, the curse that the spinarak peeled away from her body moments before recalling herself. Chiropter hastily pulls another pokéball from his belt and sends out his next fighter. The scintillating white energy released from the pokéball mixes with the lingering purple haze, and as Tuari the spearow takes shape on the pie, the bird finds himself feeling unexpectedly strong.

However, he's also unexpectedly hot. With an indignant caw, the spearow takes off, working his seared claws in the air in an attempt to soothe them as he hovers a couple of feet above the pie's scalding surface. Staring around at the strange place, he focuses on the four brownish blurs rolling madly around the pie's edge--now that can't be a good sign.

Ah, good to see you again, Tuari. Let's see now...

Make a Substitute first off - make sure it doesn't touch the crust, that didn't work out well for Milo. Follow up with Swift to get rid of those clones, then use Tri Attack. If you've somehow lost your Substitute by then and Zigzag uses an electric attack, Protect instead.

Substitute (15%) ~ Swift ~ Tri Attack/Protect

Nice one, Zig! We're on a roll!

*shot, brick'd, then hyperbeam'd*

Sorry, couldn't help myself. It was too bad of a pun to miss. Anyway, good job picking up the berry. Now we have even more funds to take over ASB - I mean, buy a few more partners. Yeah. I'm not planning anything devious, really.

Now, since you're still rolling away, why don't you just continue doing that. Even if we're rolling over a substitute, it should still do some nice damage. Now, if you stopped rolling for any reason, do a Defense Curl and continue to roll.

Before Tuari has time to do much more than register the brown blurs hurtling around the rim of the pie, they make surprisingly sharp turns and come shooting straight at him. The startled spearow tries to dart out of the way of the whirling balls of fur as they ramp off an irregularity in the pie's crust and go airborne, still spinning vigorously. The attack is simply too fast to avoid entirely, however, and Tuari is swatted out of the air and crushed against the searing pie crust as Zigzag and her clones collide with and then roll right over him.

For a moment, Tuari can only lie where he is, stunned by the sheer power of the attack. His entire body aches, and the pain only seems to be getting worse--it takes a moment for the spearow to realize that this is because the crust beneath him is burning hot, and even after he does so, it takes a serious effort of will to pick himself up and take off again. Meanwhile, Zigzag and her clones are spinning around the rim of the pie again, moving faster than ever.

Summoning energy into his protesting wings, Tuari sweeps them forward in concert, scattering a flurry of glowing feathers through the air in front of him. Guided by the life force that fills them, the flock of feathers draws together into the shape of another spearow that glows silver as it hovers gently in the air in front of Tuari, having none of the difficulty staying aloft that its master is.

No sooner is the substitute prepared than Zigzag and her clones bank around again, roaring towards the two spearow at an incredible speed. At this point, the rollout is quite difficult to control, but Zigzag is having too much fun to stop now. Hurling herself into the air, her clones at her side, she whirls towards Tuari and his substitute.

The glowing spearow dives forward without hesitation, hitting Zigzag head-on. The fragile creature stands no chance against the rollout and explodes in a cloud of feathers, but the force of the impact causes Zigzag to rebound rather than sailing on to hit Tuari as well. Her three clones reverse direction as well, and the wildly-spinning zigzagoon go shooting off towards the far edge of the pie.

Tuari knows that, while a swift attack can travel long distances and spread out a great deal, he's likely not going to be able to hit Zigzag with a lot of force, considering the speed at which she's now traveling. He's only going to get one good shot at her--and that's when she's coming in to attack. Tuari watches the rolling zigzagoon closely, charging energy in his feathers once again. He doesn't have long to wait; just before reaching the far end of the pie, Zigzag swings around and starts barreling towards Tuari again, full throttle all the way. As she propels herself into the air, Tuari slams his wings forward, shooting a concentrated burst of energy-charged feathers straight at the zigzagoon.

At point-blank range the swift attack is quite powerful, punching through Zigzag's clones and tearing holes even through the zigzagoon's dense, spiky coat. There's nothing that can stop the incredible rollout attack now, though, and Zigzag keeps coming, smashing into Tuari with a horrible crunch and bearing the spearow to the pie beneath her rolling body.

Tuari lies dazed in Zigzag's wake, the breath forced out of his lungs and his head ringing with pain. Even the heat of the pie crust below him doesn't register over the agony roaring through his delicate frame. Zigzag rolls on, but now the zigzagoon is trying to slow down rather than speed up. By this point, she's very tired, not to mention a bit dizzy and nauseous from all that crazy rolling. The deep cuts left by Tuari's swift attack sting as they come into contact with the hot pie crust, but all in all, Zigzag's troubles are nowhere near what Tuari's going through.

At last the spearow starts to pick himself up, letting out hisses of pain as he tips onto his side and then tries for purchase with his claws. The pie crust is still just hot enough to be painful, and the arduous process of shifting his weight on his legs gives Tuari plenty of opportunity to feel the burn even through the tough scales that cover his talons. Once upright again, Tuari gives his wings a couple of tentative flaps to make sure that everything still works, wincing as pain shoots through his shoulders and chest with every movement. By now, Zigzag has almost slowed to a halt, and as Tuari watches, she tubmles over to the hole she had made earlier in the pie crust and unrolls in an exhausted flop.

Though he hardly feels in a fit state to be moving about, Tuari is more than ready for a spot of revenge--and his next attack won't require much moving around, anyway. Spreading his wings slightly, he calls normal-type energy to himself once more. Nodes of power appear in the air before his elbows and beak, sparking red, blue, and yellow. Crackling jets of energy connect the three nodes and, with a nudge of will, Tuari sends the tri-construct spinning across the top of the pie and right into Zigzag. The zigzagoon yelps as the attack discharges into her side, turning her hot, then cold, then trembly by turns. The impact knocks her even closer to the edge of the crack in the crust, and as soon as the zigzagoon opens her eyes after the pain of the tri-attack has passed, she reaches out a tentative paw and scoops another berry out of the gooey filling and this, along with the one combed out of her fur, are swatted up to her trainer to join the first.

Nicely done, Zigzag! Now, let's get rid of this rather annoying Spearow before it does any more damage. Just keep on hitting it with Thunderbolt. If the Spearow flies up so high that Thunderbolt can't hit, hit it with a Thunder.

Eliminated by the damage that he took--moving causes him pain, so he's not very swift at the moment.

Hmm, sorry about that, Tuari, I didn't think about how much damage the rollouts would do. Still, I think we can recover from this. For now, focus on defense. Use Agility to try to dodge the thunderbolts, and combo the first one with Double Team for some extra protection. Be sure to keep your flight erratic so that Zigzag can't predict where to aim.

Getting back to her feet, Zigzag glares at Tuari and shakes her smoking fur. Sparks crackle between the bristles of what remains of Zigzag's coat, the air around the zigzagoon hissing with electricity as she charges up. Tuari watches in weary resignation; it's painful enough for him to stay hovering, but in order to get away from this next attack, he's going to need to move at high speeds. Bracing himself for the exertion, the spearow keeps a wary eye on Zigzag, waiting until the very last moment.

With a buzzing crack, Zigzag lets the thunderbolt rip. Tuari shoots sideways, stubby wings hammering as he twists out of the way of the electric attack. The thunderbolt zaps through empty air, but the spearow doesn't stop--he flies straight towards Zigzag, who leavse off hissing angrily over the missed attack in order to cower as the spearow rockets past overhead. Tuari veers away from the edge of the pie and flies back towards its center once more, working up speed as he flies along and working out the painful kinks in his muscles as he goes. Zigzag does her best to follow the spearow's progress, but as the combo attack picks up speed, she is eventually forced to give up and simply concentrates on picking up another berry for her trainer. After the gooey treasure is exhumed and passed on, the zigzagoon looks up again to find six rather winded spearow hovering in a rough u-shape in the air before her. The spearow are identical in appearance and manner, and the zigzagoon has no choice but to pick a target at random. Selecting the second spearow from the left, the zigzagoon excites the static electricity in her fur once again to cook up another thunderbolt.

Tuari smirks as the crackling bolt of electricity passes harmlessly through an illusion, blasting away the fake spearow but doing no harm whatsoever to the real one. Zigzag, now positively livid, is already preparing another thunderbolt, and Tuari doesn't intend to just sit around and hope that his luck doesn't run out. He leads his litte flock of clones on another lightning-fast tour of the arena, pushing his speed still higher as he performs another blazing-fast set of aerial maneuvres. His frustrated opponent, meanwhile, looses another thunderbolt at the blurry line of spearows swooping all around the field; the combination of their speed and Zigzag's anger causes the attack to miss entirely, harming nary a feather, illusory or otherwise.

As Tuari and his clones slow down and regroup near the middle of the pie, Zigzag glares up at them with murder in her eyes and her tongue lolling out. The zigzagoon is feeling quite winded after the three-action electrical assault, but Tuari's hardly much better off. Though neither pokémon managed to deal any damage this round, they are starting to show the battle's toll already.

Swagger, then Sunny Day, then Tri Attack.

If Zigzag has orders to use Shock Wave, during any action, Fly out of reach instead. If you do this on the first action, stay up there when you use Sunny Day, then drop back down to attack. If you fly up on the second action, just attack on the third. If Zigzag uses Shock Wave more than once, be sure to let her attack first on the action you come back down.

Swagger/Fly (up) ~ Sunny Day/Fly (up) ~ Tri Attack/Fly (attack)/Fly (up)

Nice job, Zig! Keep it up! This might seem like a waste of energy, but it's better than risking the confusion. Extremespeed plus Shockwave so the Spearow won't use Swagger, and see if you can somehow hang on to the bird during your attack to prevent it from flying. Since it's pretty small, maybe you can bite it or something. If you managed to hold on, go ahead and Thunderbolt it, whether it manages to fly or not. Try not to let go of the Spearow while you're at it. If the Spearow escapes and flies away, then try to dodge the Fly attack with a Rollout. If you do... Well, let's just say that we may be able to have Spearow pie for dinner tonight.

Make sure to start rolling right after the Spearow starts using Sunny Day, so you'll be rolling as it comes down to attack.

Hearing "shock wave" in Zigzag's commands, Tuari starts to lead his flock higher, the illusions gliding along after him as he begins to ascend. Even with his greatly enhanced speed, there's no way that Tuari can hope to outrace the attack that Zigzag has in mind, though. The zigzagoon takes but one step forward before vanishing in a blur of flailing paws. Zigzag closes the distance between herself and Tuari in mere fractions of a second, kicking off from the pie crust and letting her amazing momentum carry her through the air towards her target.

Tuari has only begun to comprehend what's going on before the zigzagoon looms directly in front of him, still traveling at an incredible speed. The horrible realization that she's flying right at him, the real Tuari, is cut short as the zigzagoon's paws slam into his chest and he is brought forcibly back to the surface of the pie. His clones, meanwhile, disappear in puffs of ephemeral feathers.

Even worse, as the dazed spearow starts trying to struggle out from under the zigzagoon's paws, her fur begins sparking and crackling with electrical charge. Sensing that this may be the very shock wave that he had been hoping to avoid, Tuari redoubles his efforts to escape. Concentrating as she is on mustering another electric attack, Zigzag can't keep a proper hold on the spearow, and he manages to wriggle out from underneath her--but all the same, he isn't able to get very far before snarling tendrils of electricity burst free of the zigzagoon's fur, stabbing out in all directions and catching Tuari before he can take to the air. The much-abused spearow lets out a garbled squawk as the shock wave rips through his body, his wings twitching as renegade electrical charge surges through them.

Zigzag lapses into panting and sits down for a moment, a last couple of streamers of electricity rippling through her fur. Tuari, meanwhile, shakes off the last of the shockwave and kicks off, soaring into the air at top speed to avoid any more attacks. Furious and aching, the spearow channels his anger into fiery power, the leading edges of his wings glowing a deep orange as he flies ever higher, the pie and the circling trainer platforms falling away far below. Bringing the tips of his wings together above his head, the spearow releases a bolt of orange light into the sky. It streaks away into the upper atmosphere as Tuari turns his attention downwards with murderous intent. His keen eyes lock onto his target even at so great a distance, and he tilts his wings, preparing to dive.

While Tuari flies up, Zigzag takes a moment to recover from her taxing combo attack, then ambles over to the hole in the pie crust and fishes out another berry for her trainer; there may not be time later on to grab one. Things are going to be close, and moments later Tuari's sunny day attack goes off far overhead, the sun intensifying to an uncomfortable degree as a wave of heat and light wash over the arena.

Zigzag sees her cue and tucks her head in between her paws, curling up into as spherical a shape as she can manage and beginning to roll. Tuari is already on his way down, though, wings tucked in close to his body and crooked beak aimed straight at the zigzagoon. Though the rollout rapidly rolls up to a decent pace, it's nothing compared to Tuari's enhanced speed with the force of gravity behind it. The spearow shoots down out of the heavens and cuts across Zigzag's path, ripping a deep gash across the zigzagoon's back as he goes rocketing past. Though it's not a direct hit, it is more than enough to throw Zigzag off, knocking her sideways and out of her curled posture. She sprawls on her side, wincing as the new cut across her back burns, while Tuari banks around to face her, once more hovering near the middle of the pie.

Crazy Linoone (OO)
zigzagoon
Zigzag (F) <$5 Picked Up>
Health: 40%
Energy: 47%
- Has a deep cut across her back. A bit surprised.

Chiropter
spearow
Tuari (M)
Health: 30%
Energy: 64%
- Injured but more determined than ever. +1 Attack, +1 Defense, +4 Speed

Terrain Notes
The pie crust is heating up again as the bright sun beats down from on high (6 more actions/2 more rounds).

Final Notes
- For the record, combining extremespeed with shock wave did not make the attack more accurate; Zigzag was merely lucky that she struck the right spearow.
- Although Tuari's fly attack was only a glancing hit, the first level of a rollout attack is not enough to outrun him with +4 speed.
- Crazy Linoone attacks first next round.

(Yeah, I know. I just wanted to make sure that Zigzag goes first and gets the shock wave in before Tuari flies away, and since Zigzag can't use some handy move like Quick Attack that doesn't burn much energy, I was stuck with Extremespeed. )

Nice job, Zig! Good job hitting the right bird despite all the clones. I know you're tired, but you can do this! Do two thunderbolts and one shock wave. If Tuari uses Protect or flies up high enough so that you can't hit him, go ahead and Chill. If Tuari uses Double Team, sweep your electric attack across the pie to take out the clones and (hopefully) hit Tuari.
