A standard high-school classroom; you know, with the desks-attached-to-chairs. Unfortunately, though, they're still scattered across the room, and may need moving.

Every round, there is a 10% chance that the teacher will come in and watch the battle for a few turns. Every action, he has a 20% chance of scolding one of the Pokemon on the battlefield, causing the attack damage to lower by 3%.
Other: Well, seeing as there's no swimming room, you can't really have Pokemon that must be in water, can you?

Whivit, who had for some reason ceased all movement except for occasionally sucking in a trail of saliva that had found its way out of its mouth quite some time ago, suddenly disappeared with a muffled pop and a flash of purple and green lights. Both battlers stared at the spot he had occupied only seconds before, awestruck. There was another burst, and two figures stepped out of the mini vortex: a human girl, and an Abra. The girl beckoned to the fox-like Pokemon beside her, and it vanished with a nod. Then she shuffled over to a desk, sat down, and signaled to the perplexed Crazy Linoone to send out her next Pokemon.

The trainer nodded mutely before throwing her second and last Pokeball, this one containing not a small, bipedal crocodile, but a small, bipedal canine. Riley the Riolu dropped into a defensive position immediately upon release, sizing up his opponent with several glances. Hibana was rather roughed up; finishing this off should be fairly straightforward.

Though clearly more worn down than his fresh, chipper opponent, Hibana managed to make the first move. He held his breath, forcing internal storages of electricity to jump out and cover his fur. Once every hair on his white and blue pelt was covered with static, he charged at Riley with reckless speed. The Riolu gasped as the squirrel rammed into his chest with considerable force; if it weren’t for his firm foothold and greater weight, he most certainly would have fallen. Even so, leftover electrical charge jumped across his body, quickly seeping into his muscles, and within seconds Riley found himself struggling with uncooperative muscles. He cursed under his breath.

After a moment, the mild spasms in his arms died down, and he took a tentative step forward. Taking comfort in the fact that his leg didn’t collapse the moment it touched the tiled surface, Riley rushed forward, digits curled up in a fist. A weak shroud of fighting-type energy covered his fist before he brought it down, hard, on Hibana’s shoulder. …Well, at least that was what he was aiming for, but the wily squirrel managed to dart to the side so that his fist only hit his fluffy tail. Slight pain flew up his tailbone, dissipating somewhere in the middle of his spine, and he chattered irritably.

Still chattering, Hibana once again let loose the stores of static throughout his body, charging his fur with electrical power. A few wisps of loose electricity broke off his coat as he streaked forward on all fours, this time succeeding in bowling his opponent over while he was still recovering his fighting stance. Riley yelled as he lost his balance, his cry of surprise cut short as even more electricity invaded his system, some invisible streamers wrapping around his diaphragm so the only sound he could make was a strangled gasp. There he lay, even when Hibana rose up and stepped off him. His limbs were entirely locked in the grip of paralysis, so much so that he didn’t even bother trying to move them. Instead, he concentrated on the now-difficult task of breathing – and on the dazzling shroud of white-tan energy gathering around his right fist.

Hibana giggled gleefully as he realized that his electrical onslaught had succeeded in subduing Riley. The commands were repetitive, but hey, they worked. He dropped on all fours and arched his back like a cat, the fur along his spine standing up on end as the individual hairs became charged with static. Then he pushed off with strong hind legs, sprinting several steps before jumping and landing with a thump on Riley’s stomach. He gasped as the air was forced out of his lungs and started coughing, his attention now entirely devoted to getting enough air. As a result, his fist unconsciously unclenched and the fighting power around it fizzled back into the air.

As the new referee whistled to signal the end of the twelfth round, Hibana bounded off his opponent’s stomach and started poking his nose into desks. Soon enough, he found something interesting: a half-eaten, moldy sandwich left in the classroom roughly a month ago. Excitedly the Pachirisu offered the morsel to his trainer, who pocketed it with an uneasy smile.

Final notes
Crazy Linoone attacks first next round.
I don’t think of Spark as an attack that could potentially severely paralyze a Pokemon – after all, it’s just a tackle charged with electricity, which seems insufficient. So, I had Riley receive strong paralysis as a result of the 1st Spark.
…Not that it matters much, because the 2nd Spark aggravated the paralysis and kicked it up to severe.

Yay! Blazhy! *tackleglomp*

You know what, since you can use Earthquake, just keep on doing that. If you're slightly paralyzed and can't move, try using Bulk Up. If you're so paralyzed that you can't even Bulk Up, just Chill.

Thank you sooooooooo much, Blazhy!!!

Okay, let's try something else now:

Firstly, Sweet Kiss him. If it works, Super Fang him then Quick Attack. If not, try again, and then Super Fang. If it doesn't work even on the second action, just try again.

Flora’s commands had barely left her lips when Hibana’s face twisted up in a grimace. Kiss him? Kiss him? Kiss that Riolu, who was obviously irritated and thirsty for his blood. It was for the sake of the battle, though, and after much deliberation he padded over to Riley and leaned forward. His hesitation was his downfall, though. Riley saw what his opponent was planning and swatted him away with a yell, obviously disgusted by the notion that he would try such a low trick – in the middle of battle, no less! A discouraged expression worked its way on Hibana’s features as he backed away. Ugh… Looks like he’d have to try again.

Before the Pachirisu could work up the confidence to continue his next attack, he felt the ground rock violently under his paws and looked up, startled. Riley was pounding the ground furiously with his paws, the sheer force of the blows sending spidery cracks across the tiled floor. How the tiny Pokemon managed to shake the ground with such small fists was beyond Hibana, but he was nevertheless knocked off his feet to be jolted around painfully, his body hitting the floor and the legs of desks at random intervals. He squeaked unhappily every time something struck him, and it felt like hours until the shaking finally stilled.

Highly affronted, Hibana fastidiously smoothed down his fur before puckering his lips again with an inward cringe. As Riley recovered from the exertion of using such a powerful attack, Hibana leaned forward, and this time hit his mark. The Riolu staggered, nearly falling on his behind – what was going on in that crazy squirrel’s head? Was it what he really thought it was: merely an underhanded trick? Perplexed thoughts began to rush around his brain, and he was forced to sit down, feeling rather woozy.

After several moments, Riley’s nausea died down, and he managed to stand up with only slight resistance from his electricity-ridden limbs. Reluctantly he raised a paw in preparation of slamming it down on the floor again – even if Hibana really did have feelings for him, which seemed doubtful, it didn’t change the fact that they were battling. With a twinge of guilt he brought his fist on the hapless tiles in front of them, a few fragments of stone detaching from the main body to fly through the air, and repeated the motion several times. The first ripple easily knocked Hibana off his feet; terrified, he curled up in a ball, willing the attack to let up soon. Several desks toppled over, unable to stand up to the magnitude of the Earthquake, and one struck the cowering Pachirisu in the small of the back. He cried out in pain as agony rippled up and down his spine.

When Riley finally submitted to queasiness and sat down again with a thump, Hibana looked up and chattered weakly. His body was riddled with bruises, and his mind was filled with shame as he realized he had underestimated his opponent. He wasn’t going down without a fight, though. Hibana bared his tiny incisors and pumped a massive amount of power into them, so much that they glowed a brilliant white. Riley raised a paw to shield his eyes. That arm provided absolutely no protection to the attack that was to follow, however, and Hibana darted forward with frightening speed to sink sharp teeth into his shoulder. The Riolu screamed in agony as pure energy was pumped into the deep wound, the power feeling like salt in his gash. Blood oozed out as Hibana pulled back, his broad face smeared with crimson. As the white aura around his teeth faded, the Pachirisu staggered – the assault had taken a tremendous on his little body.

It took several moments for Riley to recover from the Super Fang, and even longer for him to fight back the tingling in his limbs and the dizziness in his head. With a grimace he swiped the blood away from his left shoulder. What a liar. The Sweet Kiss was what he expected: cowardly, pansy crap. Even though Hibana’s intentions were now revealed, Riley’s head was still spinning slightly, and he hurriedly smashed his fists on the ground before the feeling could overwhelm him. Hibana was as easily bowled over as he had been the last two times, but he felt only the slightest tingle as his body was thrown on various objects. Puzzled, he stood up as soon as the rocking ground stilled and inspected his body: no new bruises. Huh. The Pachirisu looked up, and saw that his opponent wore the same perplexed expression.

Before the two Pokemon could make anything of the strange situation, the referee blew her whistle and waved her arms frantically. Riley lay down on his stomach, his head overtaken by feelings of nausea, while Hibana smirked and leapt towards the teacher’s desk. The three humans heard a drawer being opened, and the clinking of something metallic. Hibana crawled under the bureau and back to her trainer, proudly presenting what could only be the teacher’s keys. Flora accepted the gift and shoved it in her pockets, which were getting quite full by now. At least that would fetch a good amount in the black market.

The 1st Sweet Kiss missed.
The 2nd Earthquake was a critical hit.
Thus, Hibana hit the damage cap on the 2nd action.
Riley hit the damage cap on the 3rd action.
lol teacher’s keys. I wonder if he/she’ll miss that in the morning.

You go, Riley! Show that pathetic squirrel how it's done! And screw the kiss; it bit you for Arceus's sake. And now it's going to zap you with even more electricity.

Since you're still quite high on energy compared to our squirrel friend, just keep on pumping that earthquake until you win. Again, if you found yourself unable to move or something, Iron Defense, unless you can't do that either, which then Chill.

The spark of cunning in Hibana was replaced with dread as he realized just how ragged and exhausted he really was. Riley, in contrast, was bouncing from paw to paw, obviously fit and energetic enough to last several more rounds. The squirrel gulped; this couldn’t end well.

Nevertheless, he was willing to try. Little strings of electricity leapt erratically from Hibana’s coat as he drew static in the atmosphere towards him, and he combined that with the electricity already stored in his fur and skin. Struggling with uncooperative muscles, Riley had no chance of avoiding his opponent, who was streaking across the floor like an electricity-charged comet, and only had time to brace himself before Hibana was upon him. He snarled as he rammed into the Riolu’s side. Riley bit back a shriek as electrical charge ran from his opponent’s fur to his own, but thankfully it dissipated before it could interfere with his movement even more.

Hibana stepped back, panting heavily. The attack didn’t exactly take much out of him, but it was quite taxing since he didn’t have much to offer in the first place. Riley smirked, sensing the Pachirisu’s distress, then slammed a strong fist into the floor. The entire school seemed to quiver, the motion escalating as the Riolu kept punching the unfortunate tiles in front of him; somewhere in the hallway, a person yelped in shock.

Too worn out to properly balance, Hibana was easily knocked off his little paws, where he was jolted and bounced around the floor with panic-stricken squeals. He tried to scramble back to his feet, but the shaking ground mercilessly pushed him down again, and he was forced to stay on the floor and pray for the Earthquake to die down soon.

Fortunately, it wasn’t too long before Riley broke off the attack, fists aching too much for him to continue. Hibana rose unevenly to his paws, letting out a pitiful squeak as he did so. His legs quivered like they were made of gelatin and his head felt light, like he was about to faint – and he was. Black edges fringed his vision, thin fingers reaching greedily in an attempt to pull him down. Hibana shook his head before haphazardly lunging towards Riley, fur already sparking with electricity. He shouted in shock, obviously expecting his opponent to be too beat-up to fight, and landed on the floor, where he twitched and spasmed under the grip of paralysis. A muttered curse escaped the bipedal canine’s lips as he struggled to move his body.

Hibana chattered happily when he realized that Riley was helpless. Another attack might just be enough to finish him off. He coated his fur with electricity for the umpteenth time before ramming into his prone opponent; Riley gasped as the air was forced out of his stomach, but the force of the Spark was enough to snap him out of his lightheaded stupor as well as his paralyzed state. With a growl he rose to his hind paws – Hibana wailed in dismay – before bringing both fists to the floor simultaneously, resulting in a positively catastrophic quaking. In reality, the attack probably wasn’t that fearsome, but to Hibana it made no difference. Before the Earthquake was even half over, he had given in to unconsciousness.
