-------------------------------------
Level Fifteen has had enough fooling around. His funny little creeper act (as he, for one, thinks of it) isn't doing much for him. And worse, barely any of this calamity is his work. He needs to turn his act around and be the
hero, or the captive audience is just going to keep focussing on Plant Girl. Maybe if he can just downplay the awesomeness of Aglaia's overgrown weeds; start a fire or something. And so the Aipom crosses his tail-fingers for something mind-blowing to steal the spotlight and lets his arms begin to wave.
Tick, tock, tick. And they don't stop waving. They flail about even faster, glowing a warm gray, and he can't stop them for the life of him. Well, this hardly looks heroic, but it'll have to do for now. He runs toward his opponent and aims his wild arms in the general vicinity of her head, predictably enough, knocking the head injury count up to eleven as he knocks the Togepi about.
But Aglaia barely acknowledges these new blows. She's far too preoccupied to take much notice of anything so routine. Her forest, her wonderful, terrible trees and vines and underbrush, stands motionless around her once more. Some of the buildings caught in the frenzy are even still more or less
intact. But she knows that she, on the other hand, can never go back to the way she was. She has tasted a certain power, and she wants more, so much more. Heck, some of the buildings caught in the frenzy are even more or less
intact—a few branches through windows here and there, but hardly a testament to the raw power of Mother Nature.
So she waves her stubby little arms—
tock, tick, tock—and prays to the powers that be,
whatever powers may be, to be so generous again. And lo and behold, her arms take on a glow greener, more verdant than any before. All the leaves begin to rustle as the smoggy urban air rushes down towards Aglaia in a whirlwind. She sucks the pollution into her shell, which becomes steadily blacker and blacker until the triangle pattern disappears; all the while, the newly-purified air rushes upward and away to make room for more air in need of cleaning. The entire process gradually picks up speed until leaves are blowing off the trees and Fifteen is tumbling toward the Togepi, flailing his limbs against the ground to keep himself from skidding.
Then, all at once, the cyclone dies down and Aglaia explodes in a huge burst of sunny yellow-green. A powerful shockwave of grass-type energy surges outward from her in a hemisphere as she purges all the grunge built up in her body. It sears through Fifteen, bowling him over and leaving him with something like an extreme case of hay fever. It doesn't stop there, of course. All the plants in the area, as enormous as they aready are, stir to life again and resume their absurd growth. Windows shatter and buildings crumble as roots force their way through their foundations. A few acorns in Fifteen's vicinity spring to life; in a matter of seconds, two-foot-tall trees stand where they were. Meanwhile, the instant those acorns started moving, Fifteen forgot his sickness and shot off like a bullet. He was too busy making sure they weren't following him to look where he was going, however, and he got himself lodged between the trunks of two trees growing way too close together. Now they're squeezing the life out of the screeching, thrashing Aipom in their efforts.
As the mayhem dies down, Fifteen comes out of it feeling more exhausted and flattened than a used-up tube of toothpaste, but not too much worse off on the whole. He's made of tougher stuff than these shops. Not that that's saying much. Still, though, leave it to Cabbage Patch Kid to make a show of things. The street isn't even a street anymore; it's just a big tangle of roots. Now his only hope to score some good destruction is to devastate the...
grove, that works. "Forest" gives it too much credit. A Sacred Fire would befit a hero nicely, but at this point, he'd even settle for that Magma Storm. Anything to turn this competition around. He manages to wriggle his arms free to wave them, hoping this "
tick tock tick" finally does the trick, since he might not even get another. With a sudden rush of strength, Fifteen pulls himself free, arms glowing a sinewy brown. His desperation turns to confidence—it's definitely not gone, it
is his confidence—and he charges at Aglaia, ready to take out the self-proclaimed Grass King's little princess. Said princess is too busy fashioning herself a leaf crown to notice until the Aipom is upon her, shrieking bloody murder. With an almighty blow, he sends her flying headlong into a tree.
That was a proper heroic blow to the head, he thinks. No way she can ignore one of those.
Aglaia swears, wobbling in what she's pretty sure is Fifteen's general direction, that her first act as supreme ruler of nature will be to execute this heretic. It takes a few tries to get her arms to wave properly in unison, but eventually she gets them to glow blue and produce a satisfactory mysterious
tock tick tock. And suddenly she finds herself in control of water as well, bending the water her plants freed from the pipes to her will. Excellent. Exactly as as she should expect, being supreme nature ruler. She gathers up all the water in the area in a tidal wave more impressive than her wildest dreams. It looms wonderfully over the dissenter and crashes down upon him with all the might of the sea.
Fifteen shakes himself dry after having been swept briefly off his feet by that little splash of a wave. He doesn't really get what Aglaia's laughing so madly about, but it doesn't matter. He's so
close. He just needs to pull something destructive out of his sleeve. Hell, even a measly Ember would do. It only takes a spark to start a fire. He waves his arms as dramatically as arms can possibly be waved.
Tick, tock, tick.
And they instantly burst into such brilliant red light that for a moment, he thinks they've burst into flame themselves. He sighs in relief when he realizes it's just his hair on fire.
His hair is on fire. The stray fluff on top of his head has lit up, blazing, impossibly, in a great V shape. Right. Hero. He's a hero. He's watched all the hero movies. He's got this. He charges down his enemy one final time, delivering a blazing headbutt of righteous fury. Then, without skipping a beat, he starts rolling around, trying to set the forest floor on fire, but to no avail. Everything's too wet, and his flame began to die the moment he delivered his final strike, both on his head and in his heart. The villain lies defeated, a great V-scorch on her shell, but her terrible jungle lives on.
And there's nothing Level Fifteen can do about it. Though our hero may have won the battle, he has truly lost today. He falls to his knees and shakes his fists at the heavens, but the heavens can't see his fists shake through the canopy.

Epilogue
Aglaia comes to the next day in a remote Pokémon Center safely far away from the scene of the crime. She sits up, dazed, and finds herself in a crib in a corner of a small, white room filled with other cribs like hers. A window is open beside her crib, letting in bright morning sunshine and a bit of a breeze, making a potted poppy on the windowsill sway a little.
She doesn't recognize any of it. What... happened? As she tries to rack her aching brain for any hint of a memory, a Chansey in a nurse hat walks in, and she happens to be holding a newspaper... with the remains of downtown Mura on the front page. Everything comes flooding back. Oh god. Did anyone figure out it was all her? There's a good chance nobody did. In the midst of all that commotion, who would've taken the time to notice a little Togepi scurring around? Yeah. Yeah, everything's gonna be fine. But she's swearing off nature
forever. She never wants to see another plant again.
The Chansey lifts the side of the crib, and Aglaia seizes the opportunity to grab on, jump to the other side, and scurry up onto the windowsill. She heaves the flowerpot out the window, then slams the window shut with all her might. But before she can pull the curtains shut, she realizes just what she's looking at. Trees. Nothing but gigantic trees as far as she can see, and that's not really all that far through the thick growth. But it's far enough to horrify her. The Chansey, reaching awkwardly up on tiptoe to lift the naughty Togepi down from her precarious perch, barely manages to catch her as she passes out again.

Notes:
- Surf was only 50 power, a little stronger than Water Gun, because there wasn't really "a decent body of water" around. (A full-power Surf still would've left Lv 15 with 3% health.)
- Bluh. I thought this was gonna be so awesome and it just kind of ended up a big fluffy mess. It... got away from me.
- I tried to mix the A&A Guide's description of Seed Flare with the way it worked in the Shaymin movie.
- Togepi head trauma final count: 12.
- Kusari gets $8, Grass King gets $3, and
I think (EDIT: yep) all three of us refs get $2 (on top of the $11 I get for this reffing). Also, Lv 15 gets 2 exp, and Aglaia gets 1 exp (and more importantly, 1 happiness).
Energy and Damage:
- Lv 15's health: 28% - 12% (Seed Flare) - 9% (Surf) = 7%
- Lv 15's energy: 169% - 7% (DoubleSlap) - 8% (Reversal) - 11% (V-Create) = 143%
- Aglaia's health: 35% - 7% (DoubleSlap) - 13% (Reversal) - 16% (V-Create) = -1%
- Aglaia's energy: 165% - 9% (Seed Flare) - 4% (Surf) = 152%
