Round 3 Begin!
Dia is the first to move, darting towards his opponent at a massive speed then stopping just short of actually touching him, enjoying the Dratini's instinctive recoil. He delivers a small blow to the top of the blue head and then leaps back to his own area of the battlefield. Spoonlight nervously looks round at his opponent, remembering that he's supposed to be taunting him; unfortunately, he still can't get over the feeling that the Sableye is about to attack, and so he comes up with nothing.
Spoonlight manages to shake the feeling that Dia's about to strike, more or less. He begins moving, dashing around in circles fast enough to become a motion blur. When he finally slows down and stops, he's feeling substantially faster, his muscles loosened and ready to move. Observing this with interest, Dia begins his own attack, a tiny spark of light coming into being in each of the gems adorning his body, all of them drifting out of him and joining into one orb, which Dia sends at Spoonlight with a flick of his wrist. It floats over to him, and he almost instantly loses all focus on the battle, instead concentrating on the sparkling light.
While Spoonlight is still captivated by the light, Dia makes his move; he rushes to his side, his stiffened muscles groaning in protest, and then smacks Spoonlight sharply on the side of his head. This turns out to have been something of a bad move, as the sudden shock jolts Spoonlight out of his shiny-thing-trance, he looks around sharply, sees Dia there, and attacks, unleashing a powerful electric shock into the gremlin that does nothing to soothe his muscles. The Sableye grimaces, and then turns around and heads back to his own end of the field, still fighting his uncooperative muscles.
As he does so, Spoonlight's shiny barrier flickers and vanishes. Not that Spoonlight notices, having gone back to staring at the shiny light.

- While Fake Out can be used anytime, it's only likely to cause a flinch the first time.
- Amazingly, neither the confusion or the paralysis caused any attacks to fail this round.
Arena Notes
- A bench and the grass surrounding it near Spoonlight is covered in slowly melting ice. Another bench has been burnt to smithereens.
Next Round
- Dragonair Attacks
- Draider Attacks
- Someone refs - me, maybe.
