Pwnemon vs Risingbadge

Oh jeez, I am super late this time. Sorry...

Trying to throw off our groove right out the gate, huh? We'll put a stop to that. First Taunt, then two Night Slashes.

Taunt ~ Night Slash ~ Night Slash

The restless spirits utter angry wails as Risingbadge recalls the defeated Goliath and praises her on a job well done. He takes a moment to look at the badly weakened ghost hanging in the air before he selects his next fighter to finish Asphyxia off.
The darkened room is illuminated by a white flash of light as Sneakman the Zangoose materializes, his claws at the ready.
Asphyxia looks wearily over at his bright eyed and bushy tailed foe, but tries his best to look intimidating. Sneakman doesn't appear overly impressed however; he simply flicks his ears and moves about restlessly. His movements are a little dizzying for the tortured Ghastly, and he ends up having to look away completely.

Round six

Asphyxia can't help but look on worriedly as he sees the Zangoose advancing towards him with a fiendish grin. Sneakman raises his claws and looks up haughtily at his floating opponent, then abruptly begins hurling out a tirade of insults. "Hey you stupid ghost! You sure don't look up to doing any haunting right now.." The Zangoose chuckles as Asphyxia looks on with a scowl. Unfortunately, Sneakman doesn't stop there; he continues hurling out more agro, and despite the lameness of his jabs, Asphyxia can feel his temper rising. That stupid Zangoose just looks so...smug! Finally, Asphyxia snaps, and utters an angry screech, his orders apparently forgotten.
He hisses furiously and bares his fangs, his diminished aura suddenly flaring up in anger. Despite his exhaustion, the ghost manages to summon up the energy to launch himself towards his mouthy foe, his aura cutting a smoking trail behind him. Sneakman smirks at the enraged Gastly, then tenses himself, his bushy tail swishing two and fro. Before Asphyxia can connect with his fangs, the Zangoose nimbly leaps out of the way, grinning in amusement at his opponent's startled expression.
Asphyxia comes to a halt, floating lazily in the air again, silently fuming.

Sneakman paces rapidly around his weakened foe, his sharp claws at the ready. The glowering Gastly looks on, trying in vain to keep track of the agile Zangoose.
As Asphyxia utters another angry hiss, Sneakman suddenly darts forward, and his pure white form is suddenly completely shrouded in a wispy cloak of shadows. Asphyxia hisses in frustration as Sneakman fades out of view, and his wide eyes dart frantically around the room as he tries to spot him. Unfortunately, his efforts prove to be in vain, as Sneakman attacks from behind the startled ghost, bursting from the shadows with a sinister grin. The Zangoose delivers a vicious swipe with his shadowy claws, drawing a pained shriek from the ghost and knocking him clean out of the air.
Asphyxia's furious expression doesn't quite fade even as he drifts into unconsciousness, and he floats weakly a few inches of the ground, completely spent.
Pleased with his swift victory, Sneakman punches the air and takes a fighting stance with his claws bared, waiting for his next opponent.

I figured that would happen... But you can handle it, right buddy?

Lead with a Swords Dance. Then, Iron Tail. Finish with Ice Punch.

Swords Dance ~ Iron Tail ~ Ice Punch

Geez, we've had a real lack of field effects lately.

Well, that SD will be a major problem. Let's remedy this with a taunt of your own. Follow up with a Double Team of as many clones as you can get. Seeing as you're so indescribably fast, let's shoot for five, but i can live with four. The last thing should be an Attract to try and prevent further damage.

The wailing and howling heightens in intensity before Asphyxia is recalled, but stops altogether when Pwnemon sends out his last fighter.
The room is again briefly lit up as RAWR! the Aerodactyl appears with an enthusiastic and deafening "RAWR!"
Sneakman can't help jumping a little at the sudden noise, and nervously draws back a little as the imposing beast takes to the air with a flap of her huge wings. Rawr snaps her large maw and lashes her stony tail against the floor as she raises up and looks down on her opponent and prepares herself for battle.

Round seven

As the battle begins, Sneakman tries to ignore his new opponent's intimidating presence and focus on honing his attack. However, Rawr's speed surprises him, and the huge rocky creature is on the move before he can raise a claw. She utters a loud, booming laugh, once again startling the Zangoose and causing him to lose focus. She then lets loose with a barrage of insults; mostly about Sneakman's feeble battling skills. Sneakman stands bolt upright, flicking his tail in agitation, until a choice remark from his flying foe about how she saw his mother getting friendly with a Seviper pushes him stright over the edge.
Sneakman utters an ear-piercing shriek of anger and lunges wildly towards Rawr with his claws bared and his fur bristling. Rawr cringes a little at the sudden ferocity, then hastily flies out of the way of the Zangoose’s wild charge. Sneakman slashes at thin air as the surprisingly agile rock monster dodges out of reach.
Sneakman lands on his feet and immediately turns round to face the Aerodactyl flapping overhead, his bristling tail standing straight up as he growls venomously.

Rawr simply ignores the enraged Zangoose and starts flapping her wings rapidly, stirring an assortment of papers littered about. She then zips nimbly around the expanse of the room, zooming overhead in fancy loops and twirls. As she flies, identical copies begin to form in her wake, abruptly flickering into existence and copying her flight pattern.
When Rawr slows to a halt and lands, even the speedy Sneakman is feeling a bit dizzy, especially now that he’s face to face with six Aerodactyls. Sneakman snarls and spits at each one in turn, trying to find a subtle difference, but looking at their smug grins only makes him angrier. Losing patience, Sneakman leaps up with a loud growl, and his bristling tail begins to shine with molten coat of steel as he swings it deftly at the nearest foe. His toughened tail smashes through the Aerodactyl’s toothy face and he watches in renewed fury as the fake is wiped out of existence.

The remaining Aerodactyls gave a slight chuckle at their opponent’s bad luck, before hastily remembering they’ll have to change their tune. Looking rather awkward and uncertain, Rawr cautiously approaches the angry Zangoose, her copies shuffling along with her.
Sneakman is left hunched over as he gnashes his fangs and clenches his clawed paws. His ears suddenly perk up in surprise as he sees the Aerodactyl approaching, and he’s left feeling rather confused when she suddenly gives him her sweetest look (in her opinion at least) and starts complimenting on the dashing colour of his fur and the wonderful glint of his claws...
Sneakman stares at the crooning Aerodactyl with a mixture of disgust and disbelief, then raises a fist and startles Rawr with a loud, vicious snarl. Rawr freezes for a moment, wondering on how on earth he didn't fall for her charms. Those funny mammal creatures are vain about their fur right? She's abruptly jarred out of her thoughts as she notices a cold blue glow from the corner of her eye, and she flaps backward in alarm as she sees Sneakman's clenched fist glowing with an icy blue aura. The Zangoose bares his teeth, then lunges at the nearest foe and lashes out with an ice powered punch. Unfortunately, his attack once again connects with nothing, and Sneakman utters a cry of frustration as the Aerodactyl he strikes disappears.
Rawr breathes a sigh of relief as she surveys her remaining copies, while Sneakman manages to compose himself after the disappointing round. Although he's breathing heavily, he appears to have calmed down a bit as he takes a moment to smooth his ruffled fur.

Round eight

As the four Aerodactyls rise into the air, Sneakman eyes them cautiously as he paces around. He pauses in mid-movement however, as a chilly breeze ruffles through his fur, causing him to shiver. The wailing of the angry spirits abruptly begins to start up again with renewed gusto, followed by a series of cackling that causes Sneakman’s fur to stand on end.
Rawr scowls as she whips her arrowed tail around, her eyes darting around the darkened room, her clones sharing her cagey expression. Something keeps flitting around the corner of her eye; a tiny orb of light similar to the kind caused by a confuse ray. The tiny orb of light continuously grows and shrinks in size, cutting a blinding trail as it swiftly moves around, tauntingly darting two and fro across the Aerodactyl’s vision. Rawr flaps her wings in irritation, trying to shoo the thing away, but the wisp is persistent, and doggedly pursues her.
As Rawr grows increasingly enraged, Sneakman advances on his distracted foe, his fists held out. He tilts in head in puzzlement as he prepares his icy attack; to him it just looks like Rawr is flailing around at nothing; the mischievous wisp darting about is invisible to him. The Zangoose draws his fist back as an icy coating of frost begins to form over it, then lashes out at the nearest Aerodactyl with a freezing punch. Unfortunately, his punch passes straight through his target, and he snarls angrily as it dissipates into nothing.
Rawr is completely unaware about the loss of her clone; she’s completely fixated by the irritating light zooming around her head. She snaps at it and bats at it with her claws and tail, but to no avail. As she utters an angry roar of frustration that sends Sneakman jumping backwards, the wisp abruptly stops and hovers motionless in the air. Rawr pauses, and looks at it suspiciously as the orb grows in size and acquires a strange, fiery looking aura. As she peers closer, she utters a yelp of pain as the wisp charges into her and sears her with its white-hot heat.

Sneakman looks at his opponent’s behaviour with continued puzzlement, but he can’t help smirking as he sees Rawr cover her nose with her wings as she jumps about as if in pain. He can only guess that the spookiness of the place is getting to her or something. He slowly approaches her, his fists once again held up as he hopes his next try will yield better luck. His draws back his fist as it glows with an icy aura of frost, then punches the nearest flailing Aerodactyl.
This time, the rocky beast he strikes doesn’t fade; it lets out a roar of pain and anger, and the Aerodactyls surrounding it fade from existence instead. Rawr flaps her wings wildly as she careens backwards, her tail lashing madly. She lands as gracefully as she can and flaps her wings in an attempt to get the last remaining ice shards off her coarse skin, shivering from the cold and pain. Her mood is not improved as she sees the wisp resume his irritating antics, darting in front of her field of vision. She grits her teeth and closes her eyes in an attempt to block out the distraction and concentrate on attacking. What was she supposed to use...? Oh right, stone edge. She opens her eyes and tries to look past the taunting wisp, but to her dismay, she realises there isn't anything in the room suitable to use as a rocky projectile. She quickly becomes angry again, storming about in a rage as she searches around, overturning books and slashing at the wall with her sharp tail.
Sneakman winces at the racket, quickly backing off as he sees his heavy opponent rampaging about. As Rawr finally comes to a halt, looking sulky and disappointed, she gives the annoying wisp a half-hearted bat with her tail. As if in response, the wisp grows in size again and charges towards her like a blazing comet. Rawr staggers back in pain as the wisp dissipates in a shower of burning sparks, flapping her wings madly as she tries to find her balance.

Sneakman looks relieved to see his foe has calmed down somewhat, and he approaches her with renewed confidence, his bushy tail swishing through the air. The pure white fur of his tail suddenly takes on a steely glint as he swings it at the dazed Aerodactyl, but much to his surprise, he ends up swiping at nothing but the floorboards as Rawr abruptly takes to the air. A crack appears on the floorboards as Sneakman's toughened tail strikes it with a crash, and Sneakman quickly whips around to track Rawr's progress, his tail returning to normal.
Rawr scowls and shakes her head, her tail swishing madly as she tries to clear her mind again. She's glad that wisp is finally gone, but she's left with the same problem as before: no rocks. She snarls, baring her vicious fangs at her foe, feeling more annoyed by the second.

Battle notes

- I basically treated the will-o-wisp's distraction the same as confusion, apart from the Pokémon damaging itself.
- Rawr was fully confused on the first action, but didn't move on the second and third action because physical rock attacks like stone edge require actual rocks.
- Clones disappear when their creator is struck. Sneakman hit a clone on the first action but hit the real one on the second. His iron tail missed.

It seemed in the reffing as if the will-o-wisp damaged RAWR during each action, but it was only supposed to cause damage at the end. Is that what you did?

Yeah, I had it damage her each action. Her health is fixed, I'll change the reffing itself later.

Round nine

The ninth round begins with another bout of unearthly wailing, and as both Pokémon cringe from the noise, the cold and drafty room begins to grow noticeably warmer. The lingering dampness from the mist is quickly dispersed as the heat rises, while the wailing spirits slowly begin to quiet down once again.
Both battlers look displeased with the sudden shift in temperature; the already irritated Aerodactyl scowls and flaps her wings while Sneakman’s ears and tail droop as he shuffles about uncomfortably. As things heat up, the darkened room is abruptly lit up, seemingly with some supernatural trickery, and both Pokémon cry out in surprise. The light doesn’t appear to be coming from any particular source, and it floods the whole room with its fiery glow.
Sneakman and Rawr shake their heads and blink rapidly in unison, trying to adjust to the sudden brightness. Rawr is the first to recover from the shock, and she slowly takes off into the air, her great wings stirring up dust and assorted trash. Squinting her eyes against the harsh light, she peers down at the dazzled Sneakman, then flaps down in front of him and begins dishing out the insults once again.
Sneakman’s pointed ears suddenly flick upward as he hears his opponent start on another tirade, and he scowls, trying in vain to hold his temper and not take the bait. Rawr continues with her sneering jabs, and looks to be thoroughly enjoying taking out her anger on her foe. She can’t help but feel quite proud of the original material she’s managed to come up with, and she saves the best jibe for last; a particularly nasty one involving a Seviper (of course). Sneakman can't help himself: he utters an angry howl of frustration and immediately pounces towards the sneering rock beast, his claws slashing through the air. Why can't that stupid Aerodactyl learn to keep her huge mouth shut?!
Rawr's eyes widen in surprise at Sneakman's sudden outburst, and she scrambles to get out of the way. However, the enraged Zangoose manages to rake his claws across her exposed muzzle before she can retreat.

Rawr is more shocked than hurt by her fuming opponent’s outburst however, and she quickly flaps upwards in an attempt to escape the screeching furball. When the flailing Sneakman is forced to stop for breath, she flaps backwards, distancing herself from her foe in order to gain momentum for her attack, then tenses herself and spreads her wings. Her eyes and body suddenly begin to glow with a fiery gold light, and combined with the shine of the unnatural sunlight, it certainly makes for a dazzling display.
Sneakman growls and half-shields his eyes as he blindly charges towards his foe, his fur bristling in agitation. It’s hard for him to think or co-ordinate his attack plan in his enraged state, but he can feel fatigue setting in and realises that he needs to pace himself. Snarling viciously, Sneakman advances forward, but his furious expression is suddenly replaced by one of shock as the glowing Aerodactyl utters an ear-piercing roar and closes the gap between them in one fell swoop. Her rocky body blazes with a harsh light as she zooms forward and collides with the stupefied Zangoose, hurling him backwards.
Sneakman screeches loudly from the force of the impact, and he's left lying in a tangled heap, twitching in shock and pain. Rawr grins toothily at her success, her irritation at the disastrous last round all but forgotten.

As his grinning foe takes to the air again, the twitching Zangoose slowly begins to raise again. His expression is even more murderous than it was before, and the only thing stopping him from making a bee-line for the loud-mouthed Aerodactyl is the pain in his chest and head.
While Sneakman struggles to regain his bearings, Rawr once again prepares herself for the powerful but strenuous attack. She spreads her wings as her body becomes cloaked in the same harsh light from before, and the sunlight blaring down strengthens the glow even further. As she prepares, Sneakman stands upright again, looking slightly unsteady as he clutches his chest. The Zangoose glowers when he spots his foe glowing with that damned aura again, and he tenses, his busy tail bristling indignantly. He can barely wait to get his claws on Rawr, but he's all too aware of the danger. While Sneakman is left hesitating, Rawr suddenly looses another loud roar, and streams towards her foe like a comet. Sneakman stands bolt upright, and hastily makes a move to try and dodge, but Rawr is upon him before he can react, colliding with the unfortunate Zangoose with devastating force.
Sneakman can only utter a muffled gasp this time, but as Rawr drives into him, he manages to blindly rake his claws against her nose in one desperate and bitter attempt to vent his anger. Rawr cringes a little from the unexpected swipe, but once again, she is more surprised than hurt. Sneakman is definitely the one left worse off as he is hurled backwards in a twitching heap of pain. Rawr shakes her head and backs away a little, surveying the results of her attack.

Round ten

As Sneakman reluctantly turns to face his opponent, it couldn't be clearer that trying to win her over is the last thing he wants to do right now. Nevertheless, he's currently clear-headed enough to obey his orders, so follow them he must...
Rawr however, is keen on changing that. She swoops down immediately, and before Sneakman can finish his first half-hearted compliment, she begins raining down another tirade of insults. Her material is a little weaker this time, but Sneakman is already at his wit's end, and the hateful sneer of the Aerodactyl is more than he can stand.
Sneakman looses a piercing screech, then pounces at the jeering Aerodactyl, and manages to catch her by surprise with a swift swipe across her snout.

Rawr snorts and shakes her head before hastily flapping backwards, squinting over at her enraged opponent. The Zangoose really looks like he’s nearing his breaking point now… Feeling just a tad nervous, Rawr begins to position herself for another sky attack, and spreads her wings wide as her body begins to glow with a golden glow again.
While she’s left preparing, an enraged Sneakman rushes forward, half shielding his eyes against the sunlight as he goes. His fluffy tail takes on a steely glint as he forcefully swings it at his brightly shining foe with an angry snarl. Unfortunately, whether due to the blinding sunlight or his anger clouding his judgement, Sneakman's aim is slightly off. The Zangoose overshoots his mark and ends up bashing his tail into the wall behind Rawr, filling the air with dust and plaster as the wall cracks.
As Sneakman lets out a cry of frustration, Rawr takes the opportunity to barrel forward, her rocky form blazing with an intense aura. However, she ends up sharing Sneakman's bad luck, as the flailing Zangoose just happens to stagger out of the way at the last second. It isn't a conscious effort on his part, but it's just enough to mess with Rawr's aim. The Aerodactyl is unable to control her momentum from the powerful attack and ends up having to swoop round in a wide arc in an attempt not to crash. Looking slightly panicky, she makes a clumsy but pain free landing as the aura around her fades out.

Seemingly unaware of his near miss, Sneakman grumpily wipes the grime off his fur. Although still breathing heavily and looking extremely disgruntled, he appears to have calmed down enough to think more clearly.
Meanwhile, Rawr flaps backwards once again to take position for another sky attack, noting that the unnatural sunlight at least appears to be getting weaker.
As she spreads her wings again, Sneakman quickly approaches her, and without his anger blinding him, his movement is more nimble and co-ordinated.
He's still looking less than pleased though, and as his tail takes on that familiar steely glint, he viciously slams it towards his foe. Rawr utters a cry of pain as Sneakman's toughened tail strikes her across the chest with crushing force. However, she bravely manages to hold her stance, and as the aura surrounding her reaches it peak, she blazes forward and knocks Sneakman flying.
As Sneakman lands on the ground with a harsh thump and a muffled squeal, Rawr shakily distances herself from him, looking rather annoyed and slightly winded.
As both Pokémon attempt to regain their bearings, the dwindling sunlight filling the room abruptly dies, plunging the occupants in darkness once again.

Round eleven

Sneakman perks up slightly at the opportunity to be the enraging one for once, and the Zangoose quickly begins mouthing off about how great he is. As he boasts, he puffs out his chest and grins as smugly as he can, hoping to rile up the Aerodactyl.
Rawr is quicker on the draw however, and she swiftly conjures up a shimmering, translucent shield around herself. Sneakman’s smug smirk quickly becomes an irritated scowl again when he sees this, and he tries to amp up the volume. Unfortunately, his words fail to get past the sound proof shield, and his extravagant boasts fall on deaf ears.
Sneakman is eventually forced to give up, and he slumps down in a huff, glaring over at Rawr, who looks a lot less ruffled now. Upon seeing the threat has passed, Rawr lets her shield drop, and remains watching cautiously. That nasty iron tail has taught her that Zangoose isn’t to be taken lightly.

For a few moments, both battlers are left watching to see what the other will do. Sneakman in particular seems quite agitated, as his commands don’t really seem to cover this particular situation. He’s probably going to have to improvise a bit…
Taking the intuitive, the uncertain looking Zangoose rushes forward, his bushy tail shimmering with a coat of liquid steel. Rawr reacts immediately; she flaps her great wings and propels herself high into the air with a spring from her powerful legs.
Sneakman isn’t quick enough to catch her and his tail slams into the battered floorboards with a loud crash. He flicks his ears and glares upwards to see his foe hovering close to the ceiling, her wing beats sending dust everywhere.

Rawr peers down at her foe and circles him from above as she takes aim. The Zangoose doesn’t appear to be up to much, so she takes the opportunity to dive-bomb him, letting loose a loud screech cry as she goes.
Sneakman winces as he sees and hears Rawr’s approach, then tries his best to follow his muddled commands. With a frustrated look on his face, he waves his claws over-dramatically and summons up a protect shield of his own, coating himself in the familiar translucent shield.
Rawr flaps about wildly as the shield abruptly halts her momentum and sends her flapping heavily backwards in an effort to regain her balance. With the danger past for now, Sneakman drops his shield and doubles over, feeling considerably worn out.

- When a Pokémon is given conflicting commands I usually have them follow them as close as they can and ignore anything too specific. If their conditionals are just completely cluttered, they basically just use a random move from their conditionals.
