But this year, Oak and Rowan dicovered beer. This year, for this battle, all the proffesors are on a bench, and Elm, Birch and Juniper while Oak and Rowan are cackling wildly with cans of beer in their hands. There is a 10% chance each round a drunk Oak or Rowan wil yell vulgarities or show the bad finger to a Pokémon, causing the Pokémon to spend an action attacking the professor.

The trainers finished their hike up to the top of the mountain where the professor's picnic was taking place. Oak and Rowan were both already inebriated. The referee went over the rules and commanded the trainers to send out their Pokemon. A lion and a gas blob popped out.

Asphyxia wasted no time in pissing off his opponent... he floated up to the glaring lion. Although he would rather not piss them off, there was too much vitriol in the atmosphere to not be a jerk. He began spitting out loads of nasty insults at the poor lion, who slowly grew more and more infuriated. Ultimately, his rage took over and he made an angry lunge towards the Gastly.

Although the strike was weak, Asphyxia didn't wish to be on the receiving end of another one. A sizable portion of the gas making up his body floated away and condensed into the form of a large orb. He licked the orb, and with a bit of psychic energy, it took the shape of a Gastly. Satisfied with his work, Gastly sat down and watched Blue Mage's futile pounce hit his doppelganger, leaving him unscathed.

The satisfied ghost was about to try to hypnotize his foe when a voice beckoned to him from atop the hill.

"Heeey, Gastly, you shuh look UGLY tuhdaaay," Oak slurred. "Ya look like a big, fat, pile of poodles! Huh huh huh." Rowan, the Beavis to Oak's Butthead, followed up with a "huh huh huh" of his own. Asphyxia, intensely angered that he was the new target of the insults, he scaled the hill and pulled Oak's tongue out of his mouth.

In the meantime, Blue Mage was too busy conjuring a thundercloud to notice; a huge lightning bolt fell from the sky and hit Asphyxia' stunt double, the grass underneath it set aflame by the sudden electric strike. It was a mericle that the substitute was still standing after that strike, but it was. Somehow.

Subdued by the huge lightning strike's failure to destroy, the Shinx settled down.


Arena Notes: A small patch of grass under the Substitute is burnt from the Thunder.

Ref Notes:
Gastly was verbally assualted by a tree-man on action 3.
Taunt wore off on action 3 as well.
Pwne orders first.

First, hypnosis till it hits. If he protects, Double team instead, and move the rest back a command.

If all goes right, Curse on T2. Otherwise, Hypnosis.

On T3, Pain Split if you've cursed, curse if he's asleep and you haven't yet, and Hypnosis if neither.

forgot to mention asphyzxia has a mod.

Whenever an attack requiring physical contact is used there is a 10% chance that the user will suffocate and cough and the attack will fail because they have to get inside the gas cloud to reach his blobish body. Doesn't have any effect in water or other arenas not open to air. Doesn't work on steel Pokemon as they all seem to have no real sign of internal organs or the Porygon family since they don't have organs.

Look away and close your eyes, becuase hypnosis won't work without eye contact. Keeping your closed, Discharge and finally Protect and open your eyes.

Suddenly, Pwnemon vomited his bodily fluids all over the picnic table that Elm and Juniper had so kindly arranged for him.

The two professors glared at the picnic spoiler and got out their AK-47s.

After a carnage-tastic scene that we're not going to go into detail on, the professors buried a makeshift grave and dumped Pwne's corpse into it.

The referee, noticing Pwnemon had disappeared, went up the hill and asked where Pwne was. Thinking fast, Elm claimed that Oak had bludgeoned Pwne to death and that they had considerately dumped his body in a grave. Karkat nodded, thanking them for their connsideracy. He then turned into a pterodactyl and flew away from the battle.

Pwne is DQ'd due to his banning; ILS gets $8, I get $5, and the dead rotting corpse of Pwnemon recieves nothing.

Blue Mage and Asphyxia recieve one EXP each.
