RK-9 snarls, and purplish black strands of dark energy drips from his jaws as he charges at the cringing Frillish. Jenkins gives a shriek of pain as RK-9 snaps his jaws shut onto his tails and swings his head from side to side. Jenkins struggles madly to float out of reach, but RK-9 keeps a firm hold, and he doesn’t let the flailing Frillish go until he’s made his mark.
When he's finally free, Jenkins floats weakly near the ground, his tails trailing against the cobblestone. He coughs harshly into his hands, then abruptly spits out a purple glob of venom, which splashes onto RK-9’s fur with a nasty hiss. The Growlithe gives a yelp as the poison begins to burn through his fur, and he runs around frantically in a circle as he tries to shake it off. What little he does manage to dislodge does little good however, as the majority of the potent toxins has already made its way into his bloodstream.
RK-9 finally slows to a halt, his tail and ears drooping as the feelings of dizziness and nausea begin to take hold. He growls and shakes his head, flicking his ears in annoyance, then abruptly charges towards Jenkins again with a furious snarl. Jenkins grimaces as the Growlithe sinks his sharp fangs into his arm, ripping and tearing away as the corrosive dark energy burns into his spectral flesh.
When the snarling little hound finally backs off, Jenkins is looking very tattered indeed, and his translucent blue body is marred with many nasty looking black marks. Jenkins gives a feeble groan as he examines the damage, then floats lower to the ground as he prepares to do something about it. RK-9 watches on warily as the Frillish begins to glow with a soft white light, which slowly washes over his body, clearing away his wounds and repairing his ragged looking tails. When Jenkins rises up again, he looks considerably healthier, not to mention more cheerful.
RK-9 gives a bark of frustration as he sees his newly healed opponent, then promptly leaps at him again, sinking his dripping teeth into him and tearing away. Jenkins’ cheerful expression quickly fades, and he gives a startled cry as RK-9 furiously mauls him. He desperately tries to shake the Growlithe off, but he seems even more determined than before, and he continues to snap and tear as much as he can before he finally loses his grip.
RK-9 thumps back onto the ground, still snarling and baring his teeth. He's quickly shut up however, as the enraged Frillish prepares to take some revenge, and he swiftly descends on his foe, his tails streaming behind him and his finned arms held wide. RK-9 gives a yelp as Jenkins ensnares him in his tails and promptly begins to constrict him, squeezing ever tighter the more he struggles. RK-9 gasps and flails wildly, trying to snap at his bonds, but his head is in too awkward a position to get at them, which only causes him to get more frantic. Eventually however, he manages to wriggle free as Jenkins' grip finally loosens, and he lands roughly on the ground, panting for breath. Jenkins looks down on him grimly, knowing that the mutt isn't liable to stay down for long. He savours the brief lull however, and spares an anxious glance at the tooth marks on his arm.
