DQ: 5 Days
Damage Cap: 41.3%
Banned Moves: Everything that isn't called by Metronome, excluding Metronome itself, of course.
Area Discription: The Metronome Zone

The battle takes place in the well-hidden Metronome Zone.
The whole Zone seems to be endless, and everything is completely white, with light seeming to emanate from both the ground and sky, leaving no shadows but dim enough to be comfortable on the trainers' and battlers' eyes.
A strange pulse seems to echo through this zone, blocking out all moves of a Pokemon except for Metronome, although it does not bestow apon them Metronome if it doesn't know it already. It also negates all energy use for Metronome and the moves called by it.
If a move called by Metronome requires an object to be used (Surf, Rock Slide, Sand Tomb, ect.), the Zone will provide the object until it is no longer needed.

Additional Rules:
Σ Only un-evolved Pokemon can be used, including Pokemon with pre-evo Baby Pokemon in their family. (ex: Cleffa and Jigglypuff would be allowed, but Hariyama would not)
Σ Only Pokemon that know Metronome can be used, although Pokemon only learning it through TM in Gen I are banned
Σ If Metronome rolls Selfdestruct/ Explosion/ any other move that causes the user to instantly faint, reroll until you get an attack that isn't one of those.

(Star) Cleffa [F] <Magic Guard>
Status: Not willing to let go of her advantage

As ever, Star was irritable. She had realized by now that she was quite a neurotic Cleffa, not being able to live with the fact that she had the lead. She knew that her lead was smaller, and that infinitesimally important fact was what bugged her. The referee was also in the same boat, though he was annoyed for another reason. He had yet to see anything impressive. As of yet the most interesting thing he had seen was the Clamp, but that was no Fire Blast. He just sat in his foldable chair and waited. Star meanwhile, waggled her finger and hoped for the same thing as Ampharos. Excitement. Alas, neither Pokemon nor person would get their wish. As she finished the gesture, Star felt the need to go to a spray park, a lake, even a bathtub would do. She needed to toss around water, she wanted to get wet. Almost as soon as these thoughts were processed a large pool of water appeared beside her. She quickly jumped in and began to play. She was only really a baby after-all, and thus her little water playtime was perfectly normal for a boring Sunday afternoon. Not usually in a battle though. As Star got out of the pool she realized she was sopping wet, and how that might impede, or help, her.

Eurastar laughed at this feeble attempt to put her back in her place. No, this Cleffa was not going down to a little child who just played in water all the time. No sir! As appealing as the little pool had been to her she had stood her ground, ready to gain her advantage once more, the one she rightfully deserved. With as much dignity as she could possible emit she waggled her finger, knowing she would get something helpful. However, all that happened was that her body began to glow with the exact same glow as from the beginning of Round 1. Absolutely nothing happened after this glow made an appearance, just as before. Eurastar wanted to scream. How was it that Metronome managed to generate her the exact same move as before. The exact same USELESS move. At least her opponent was having fun with what she was getting. All Eurastar got was moves that were supposed to help suffering Pokemon, when she clearly wasn’t suffering. To make a long story short, she was mad.

Star however, was filled with the exact opposite emotion. She was once more elated. Both from her little playtime that all babies need, and the fact that her opponent seemed to want to rip her own fur out. As sadistic as that sounds, Star was quite happy. She waggled her finger without a care in the world. She didn’t care if she produced Roar of Time or Splash. As she finished the common gesture, she instantly began a masterful dance. She performed beautiful pirouettes and jumps mixed in with spinning kicks and handstands. As she danced her warrior’s sense began to activate, and she started to enter a real Zen mode. She could almost feel the swords whirling through her hands, even though they did not exist. Her eyes seemed to glow as a new part of her brain awoke. When she finished she felt that she had a mental connection with the battlefield around her. If she was to attack her opponent physically, she could’ve jumped on just the right eggshell in the toxic pool to propel her forward at the perfect angle. She liked this new battle sense, and she planned to use it.

Eurastar was practically on her knees. She needed something to send her luck back to that of the previous round. At least give her an attack that would damage the opponent. She closed her eyes as she wiggled her finger, and prepared for the worst. All of a sudden her arms felt rock hard. She could barely lift them. And when she did, she unconsciously began pounding them against her chest, causing her to gasp in pain. If the Cleffa had no fur one would clearly be able to see her chest begin to turn red with the pain. As she cried out in agony she realized that she was getting more and more powerful, wanting to fight back with much more vigour. She was being pained beyond relief, but it was making her so much stronger. As her fast arms finally began to slow down and the pain began to ease she felt like a tribal chieftain. Her thoughts were spinning out of control she had so much power. She began to thank the RNG Gods, before realizing that this was a waste of time. She needed to attack, and fast, or else she would go crazy. Man oh man; if Star thought she was powerful, she hadn’t seen anything yet.

Star was feeling kind of edgy now. As she thought back she realized that her mood had changed so much during the past few minutes that she might as well have been Jekyll and Hyde. However, she was determined that after so much waiting for a damaging move she would finally get one. She waggled her finger once more, and this time a fairly large piece of metal dropped from the sky, narrowly missing the pool of toxins and eggshells. Star walked over to it and hesitantly picked it up. It was heavy, but her muscle mass seemed to have increased since her little dance break. It nearly slipped out of her hands as they were still wet, but she managed to hold onto it. With a massive heave she lobbed it at her opponent. Eurastar could do nothing to dodge the attack, as it seemed to follow her as it scooted through the air, going right through the shimmering Light Screen. She realized at the last second that it had magnetized to her. She had the breath knocked out of her as she was struck. The piece of metal then rolled away, slightly, lying to rest a few feet away. Eurastar quickly cursed. Her opponent had drawn first blood of the round. And that had really hurt. Now it was time for her to get her revenge.

Eurastar waggled her finger in time with some wild jungle beat playing in her head. The Magnet Bomb had slightly knocked her back to her senses, but she was still feeling quite insane at heart. As she finished the Metronome routine nothing happened at first, though Eurastar felt the urge to run forward, so she knew she was going to produce a contact attack. She then realized that being patient to see if something happened was foolhardy, so she charged forward, eyes wide, bellowing a mighty war cry. As she sprinted along on her stubby little feet she felt something start to materialize in her hand. She looked beside her and saw a brilliant golden seashell appear in her hand. She twisted it slightly and saw that the edge of the clamshell was as sharp as a knife, shining just as a blade would. She grinned. This was exactly what she wanted. As she got close to Star she pulled her arm back. Then, as she leaped over the toxic eggshell pool she brought the shell forward with astounding force. The shell ripped right through Star’s skin, causing a small trickle of blood to appear. Star screeched from the pain. She had been worried about what Eurastar had done, and for good reason. The area that had been cut was on fire. She backed away from her opponent slowly, breathing deeply. Eurastar, happy with what had just unfolded gave one last grin before she returned to her place on the battlefield, her heart pounding with excitement. She became slightly less happy as her Light Screen disappeared, but that was a trivial fact

Star moved so slightly that only one with the sharpest of eyes would notice the change, but she still cringed as the cut on her side seared with pain. She knew if it was hurting when she was moving that minimally it would be extremely hard to concentrate. She waggled her finger without moving the rest of her body at all, making her look like a creepy, pink, living statue. After performing the gesture she started to feel the tiniest bit more relaxed, and she realized how much help it would be to sit down. She barely felt the pain at all as she assumed a cross-legged position, then closed her eyes. She effortlessly began to clear her mind, ridding her brain of all those painful thoughts. With all that empty space up there she was able to focus more on the offensive part of the battle, and she felt her battle sense increase once more. Unbeknownst to her was the fact that even though she felt greatly empowered she still had received only half of the boost Eurastar had received. She got up yawning, hardly aware of the pain in her side, and felt ready to get back in this battle. Just looking at her opponent she felt better, knowing that Eurastar had still taken more damage than she had.

Eurastar wasn’t having that many comprehensible thoughts. The power that she had could’ve been held by a Salamence or a Gyarados, but not poor little Eurastar. She simply could not control her thoughts with that much energy, and so she just let her subconscious go into anarchy. She still remembered in the back of her mind what she was doing, and so imagining her finger was a spear she waved it back and forth with primordial vigour. From the gesture nothing seemed to happen to her, but her opponent started to glow a sickly green. A bright neon, but just generally evil looking. Star started to look around frantically at her arms, her body, and every other part of her that was covered with the weird glow. It didn’t seem to be doing anything, but- URK! She let out a grunt as she felt the glow start to leave her, dragging along a bit of her health along with it. Shining green orbs were flying through the air towards Eurastar. When they reached her they seemed to go straight into her body. Many of the green orbs veered off course slightly and missed her, or were so small they evaporated before reaching Eurastar, but about half of the health was still recovered. Eurastar smiled as she felt a little bit of her life-force return.

Star had not liked what had happened. She could admit that it hadn’t hurt her very much at all, but it was still frustrating to see her opponent edge even closer to her spot at the top of the podium. With her anger starting to return she shook her finger, not having to worry about the cut in her side. Her meditation exercise had stopped the pain considerably. As she finished the Metronome she felt her hand start to get warmer. She looked at it and it seemed to be taking on a red tone. The temperature began to increase, and soon she was shaking it around trying to get it to cool off. She watched with morbid fascination smoke seemed to flow out of the pores. Soon her hand erupted in flames, ones that should’ve cooked it right off. However, Star realized the temperature had been kept at bay, so it felt as if she was simply pressing her hand against hot sand, not into a fire. It was still painful, but she could bare it. She began to run forward, still wishing that she could’ve been lucky to generate an attack that didn’t hurt that much. These thoughts distracted her, and all of a sudden she realized she was charging straight at her magnetic metal from the last round. She tried to skid to a stop before running into it, and she almost did. But just as she turned to deliver the punch at Eurastar her tiny little foot caught the edge of the rock and she went flying. As she hit the deck she felt her hand cooling off instantly, not leaving a burn or anything. She would’ve tried to do something to her opponent, but staying close to that war machine for too long didn’t seem like the best idea.

As her opponent scurried off Eurastar smiled once more. Though her now tribal mind was working on ways to rip apart Ursarings she still was aware of what was going on in the battle. And this round, things were going in her favour. She waggled her finger with a bit less malice and lunacy this time, starting to look a bit more like a normal Pokemon, getting a hang of her emotions. From the seemingly endless expanse around them came a group of small floating stones. Sharp stones. Right away these projectiles went flying straight at Star. The Cleffa braced herself for suffering more pain, but the fire on her skin never came. She opened her eyes a whisker’s breadth and saw that the rocks had surrounded her, spinning around her slowly. For a moment she felt like a planet that had somehow sucked up an asteroid belt in its orbit, but she realized how stupid this was. She knew that if she moved, these rocks weren’t moving with her, and that these rocks would hurt her if she tried to go through them to aggressively. Luckily she was small enough that she would be able to duck and weave through them if she was forced to use a physical attack.

It was now Star’s turn to attack, and hopefully not miss with a move that would only fail on a 1-in-100 chance. What luck it had been! This time as she used metronome she felt her back to start to itch. She wondered why things kept happening to her when she attacked, and not her opponent. She reached back with her hand and was about to scratch when she felt two huge bumps on her back. She snapped back her arm in horror. Had some large demon bug bitten her in her sleep? She reached back and felt the bumps again. She nearly gagged as she realized that they were growing. Eventually she felt her skin start to tighten horribly, and all of a sudden a brilliant, white, pair of angel wings sprouted from her back. Star gasped with shock. She had not seen that coming. She jumped up and tried to fly, but the wings were seemingly just for show. Understanding what she was supposed to do, Star ran forward, dodging through her rock cage. When she reached Eurastar she struck out with her new body parts. The wings had seemed to harden as she had ran, and they left a considerably mark on Eurastar’s skin. The Cleffa growled in discomfort, and the now completely freaked out Star high-tailed it out of there. As she returned to her side of the field she felt her wings return into her skin, until they were gone. As she stopped to catch her breath the sentient rocks seemed to realize she was no longer attacking, and they surrounded her once more.

Eurastar was starting to get really frustrated again. She had yet to have a chance to attack her opponent using her newfound power in the round, and it was starting to show. The power was bursting at the seams, and it needed to be released. Eurastar performed Metronome sincerely hoping that she would get a chance to absolutely decimate her opponent. Sadly, it was not to be. She did get a damaging attack though, albeit a weak one under the circumstances. She began to feel intone with the vegetation under Star’s feet. At least, the vegetation that just magically appeared there. She ordered the plants to surface and ensnare her opponent. That they did. Star let out a small “meep” as she felt the leafy tendrils began to ensnare her. She was slightly relieved that they only tightened around her legs, and decided not to suffocate her. In an instant the vines began to shake violently, causing Star to quickly lose her balance. With a small screech she fell over backwards onto the ground, though she barely felt hurt at all. The bigger hassly was getting back up again. She had an infinite supply of energy, but this was still a tiring battle. She managed to pull herself up once more, and prepared herself for another round of random attacks.

Star waggled her finger again, starting to get bored of using the same tactic over and over again. It would be nice if she could have some free will over which moves she was using instead of relying on gods who would like no better than to completely embarrass her. When she thought about it like that, she realized how bad her situation really was. It only got weirder as she felt her teeth start to actually fizzle with energy. Entranced by this weird effect Star stopped short of running forward, seeing what was happening to her canines. Soon she felt a tiny jolt of pain as her teeth began to crackle with electricity. Understanding what to do in an instant, the charged Cleffa ran forward, throughb the Stealth Rock, and sunk her crackling mandibles into her opponent. Eurastar squealed as she was covered in pain, and then quickly resumed her composure. She couldn’t lose control when she had so much power at her disposal.

Eurastar waggled her finger and prepared herself to slam the opponent as hard as possible. She almost began to drool as she thought of the pain she was about to cause. From the Metronome she began o run forward, and she let out a gleeful squeak as she realized she was about to use a physical move. Star attempted to dodge out of the way, but she barely made any progress before her opponent was on top of her. The supercharged Cleffa wrapped her arms around her opponent as hard as Cleffa-ly possible, and she began to shove the life out of her opponent. Star began to choke as the sheer force of her opponent caused her tender form to be crushed. The referee had to wave a flag to get Legendaryseeker99 to make his Pokemon relent a bit. Star could now breathe properly, and she had avoided having a rib broken, but her opponent was still crushing her, and there was nothing she could do about it. Yet.

Star wagged her finger as minutely as possible under the circumstances; trying hard not to accidentally put it in front of her opponent’s face, risk it being bitten off. At the moment she wouldn’t put it past Eurastar. She was hoping dearly for a Fire Blast or a Hyper Beam so she could turn around and blast her opponent to the moon. Well, the space launch wasn’t necessary, but getting her crushing grip off of her was. From the Metronome Star was unable to do anything, being force to stand there, painfully as it was, and wait for her opponent to do something. Eurastar, seeing the gap to attack once more, released one hand just enough to wag her finger. From there Eurastar released her opponent just for a moment, making sure to look as if she had accidentally let go. Star instantly took control and tried to protect herself in the best of ways. Eurastar grinned and deked around her opponents raised arms. She dealt a normally weak blow to Star’s side, but with that much attack power it was insanely powerful. Star cringed, and followed it up with another squeal as her opponent resumed the crushing grip on her sides. However, now that her opponent had attacked, Star was poised to return the favour. She whipped herself around, amazingly to Eurastar who had thought she had the tightest grip possible. Star then grabbed her opponent right back, making them look as if they were locked in a beautiful yet oddly uncomfortable embrace to those watching (they’re babies, right?). With a mighty leap the two Cleffas were catapulted into the air. There Star swung her opponent around and released her with a mighty throw, causing the opposing Cleffa to go crashingboth through the rock prison (ouch) and into the floor of the endless room. Star casually floated down to the ground, her job accomplished.

Star was now given the wonderful opportunity to attack next, still having that slight speed advantage over her opponent. She waggled her finger with much more confidence now as she had ridded herself of that titanic grip. At first nothing seemed to happen, but then a burst of light Star began to glow a magnificent gold. Soon she began to levitate above the ground. She found this odd, as she didn’t have to work at all to do this; the golden energy was seemingly lifting her up all on its own. Soon she was above her comfortable altitude, having seemingly melted through the Stealth Rock, and she looked down at her seething opponent feeling horribly queasy. All of a sudden the golden glow seemed to stop giving her the power of levitation. Both Cleffas screamed as Star began to careen towards Eurastar. Eurastar was not looking forward to being pile driven by her flying opponent, and Star herself was not too happy about crashing into her opponent either. With a hefty thud the two Cleffas collided and rolled for quite a ways. Ampharos was tempted to clock the distance, but he realized that that might be considered disrespectful. Amazingly, the two Cleffas pulled themselves up, dusted themselves off, and began to return to the area where the battle was supposed to take place.

Now Eurastar was mad. Mad, mad, mad, mad, MAD! Pure anger was coursing through her veins. Her opponent was getting to use the insanely powerful physical moves, and she had yet to use one that round with a base power over 30. It was truly frustrating, and Eurastar wanted to do something about it. She waggled her finger coldly, hoping for Close Combat or something that would really knock the socks off of her opponent. To make a long story short, she didn’t get what she was looking for. Eurastar ran forward to Star and began to speak in light, convincing tones, secretly lacing her words with dark magic. Star listened with wide eyes as her opponent talked about how good it would be to ignore their differences, mainly held items and modifications. Star completely agreed. What was the use of those things anyway? Just got in the way. And what better thing to admit than that she didn’t have any? She smiled and told Eurastar this, causing the opposing Cleffa to sigh and back off, dejected once more. Quickly Star returned to her senses, wondering what just happened.

Star knew that the end could very well be near, and that she was most likely in the running to win this battle, but that she couldn’t just sit back and let her opponent attack her. Eurastar, though thoroughly weakened was still super-charged with power, and it would only take one round full of Metronome fails for Eurastar to take the lead from Star. Well, this Cleffa certainly hoped that that didn’t happen. Waggling her finger once again she hoped for that one fighting-type killer that could really win it for her. After finishing Star felt her reality changing slightly. Very slightly as it was, and she realized that Eurastar couldn’t notice at all, simply because Star was the one manipulating it. After she finished and she returned to what felt like the real world, Star couldn’t tell what had changed, and she didn’t figure that she would notice very quickly. Eurastar was staring at her blankly; also oblivious unto what had just happened.

Eurastar was in the complete opposite mood set than Star. She felt that the battle was now hers to win, and would do anything she could to make herself win this long and strenuous battle. She waggled her finger with much more eagerness, waiting for that one move that would change the tide of the battle. Well, she didn’t exactly get her wish, though it was better than nothing. Eurastar opened her muth wide and emitted a pure white smoke that swirled in the air. The cloud of smoke and its tendrils moved casually towards Star. When the wisps of smoke touched her she felt her skin start to sting as she was mildly damaged by the mysterious attack. However, as well a hurting Star, the smoke also made Star feel much weaker than she had earlier, her attack power significantly lowering. She tried to frantically bat the smoke away with her arm, but it was to no avail. The smoke had done its duty.

Now Star was just annoyed. She had been powered up quite a bit (though only half of what Eurastar had experienced), and now all of that had gone to a complete waste. She waggled her finger with the same vigor as Eurastar had an action previously, hoping not to get herself back into the battle, but solely to get revenge. As the metronome action finished she felt prematurely happy about the fact that energy was forming itself inside of her. She hoped it was a Flamethrower, or a Hydro Pump, or something awesome. However, the beam she got was much, well “lamer” than all of those. From Star a strange white beam was fired forward, one that when it reached Eurastar did not cause damage, but simply changed her biological complex. As earlier in the battle she felt the bulbous pink fat around her body shrink slightly, making the Cleffa appear dangerously skinny. She now felt much for happy and carefree in life. It was odd that her opponent would do this to her, though Metronome was one weird attack.

When Eurastar once again shook her finger to initiate Metronome she in no way could have predicted what could have happened next. As Eurastar finished she felt a force even stronger than her attack boosts rise up inside of her. As it completely took control of her body she realized that this was probably going to help her, and so with one last look at her opponent just in case she did somehow faint from the influx of power she would know which Cleffa to pick a rematch with. As the energy completely took control Eurastar bellowed a mind-boggling scream, one that caused Star to cringe horrible. At first she thought this was all that happened, but soon after ward she felt her reality begin to twist again. Star herself screamed as she was mentally insulted by one amazing mesh of all times indescribable to those who have never experienced it. The pain was unbearable, as time itself was seemingly ripped apart by this ancient power. Eventually both Pokemon stopped screaming, and both Cleffas returned to relative normality. Eurastar was quite happy with herself, while Star just stood there, drenched in sweat, and shivering uncontrollably.

Star was now completely traumatized. That had hurt. She had never felt anything quite so painful, and she hoped she never had to ever again. But she needed to focus on the battle at hand. She was still probably in the lead, and the battle was still in her control. She couldn’t freak out now, just because the RNG Gods were obviously not going to let her win this easily. Much calmer than she felt, Star waggled her finger once more. This time she had to get a damaging attack, didn’t she? After finishing metronome the still shell-shocked Star charged forward at Eurastar. As she did this gigantic claws seemed to magically sprout from her weak, puffy paws. When Star reached Eurastar she dug these new claws straight into her opponent, causing Eurastar to whimper in pain. As much ground as she was making, Eurastar was still horribly weak from all the attacks she had taken earlier on, and this new assault took her that much closer to fainting.

Eurastar knew that she might need another strong damaging attack to really get her back in the game. She shook her finger almost as Star had done at the beginning of the round, feeling slightly nervous about what the outcome of her attack could be. Luckily, she got what she was looking for. Eurastar opened her mouth wide just as she had when she had released her smoggy attack. This time however, she released a barrage of icy winds that careened towards the already shivering Star. The Cleffa gritted her teeth as the winds ripped against her skin, nearly causing her extra damage by pushing her into the Stealth Rock. She managed to hold her ground before crashing into the rocks. She was still greatly pained though, and she could barely bring herself to stand as straight as before. Now her and Eurastar were nearly on even terms. The previously uninterested ref was now greatly interested in the close contest. It was about to get good.

HELL YEAH
Roar of Time!
Too bad it wasn't something like Giga Impact, but oh well.
I think that if we roll a physical move, even something like Fury Swipes, we can win this.
But if all else fails, hope for Rest or Recover.

I think you have the stars mixed up in the ref notes. (also, more splash, judgment, something useful needed ... hey, let's stab the random number gods!)

metronome x 3

1 vs 1

A month passed with no action from the referee whatsoever, save for the dripping of saliva from the corner of his mouth. Finally, Legendaryseeker99 grew impatient and fished a cellphone out of his pocket. He dialed a number and stood there, waiting. “Please enjoy this ringback as we connect your call,” said the recorded voice cheerfully, before elevator music drifted from the device.

Legendaryseeker99 stood there for quite a while, his brain slowly melting from the mind-numbing effects of elevator music. In fact it seemed as if he had held the phone to his ear for over a week (didn’t his arm get tired?) before the music ended abruptly and a monotone voice took its place. She said yes, she’d be there shortly, she couldn’t bear to see the lull in wanton destruction.

It turned out that “shortly” meant another week. Nevertheless, the battlers did not complain (out loud, anyway). A wormhole opened up in the Metronome Zone and out stepped a silver dragon, awkwardly clutching two red flags with her wings. Apologizing for the delay, she waved the flags, and Star and Eurastar stretched their fingers in preparation for reality-teasing.

Feeling slightly cowed, Star waggled her fingers timidly, fervently hoping that the Metronome Gods would grant her something explosive. And lo and behold, her wish was granted: her fingers tickled reality in just the right way, drawing volatile potential from the air and coating her hand in it. It was surrounded by a dangerous glow, absolutely buzzing with devastating power. Eurastar took a step back, then braced herself, ready to take the attack head-on. It was a mistake. Star ran forwards, ignoring the rocks that swirled about her; they were unable to harm her anyway. She threw the punch at a relatively slow speed, but upon contact with Eurastar’s belly, her fist seemed to explode, debris and sparks and smoke flying everywhere. With a scream Eurastar was tossed harshly away. It felt like the skin on her stomach had been entirely burned away. Paralyzed with pain, it was a moment before the poor Cleffa could recover enough to move. She bent over to inspect her belly, then was overtaken by a wave of nausea. The world was spinning and twisting about her, and even the slightest movement caused her disorientation to triple.

Star had squeezed her eyes shut to shield them from the explosion, and she opened them now. She saw her opponent lying winded several meters away, her stomach covered with a terrific bruise and a thin coat of soot. Star grinned, then wiped some ash from her own hand. Nice.

Weakly Eurastar waved her fingers, trying to ignore the nausea that assailed her as she did so. Sadistically enough, whoever was distributing the random moves decided to give Eurastar one that required intensive use of the mind. Doing her best to concentrate, she tried to send a telekinetic blast at Star, but in her current state she could only manage a small purplish burst that was quite far from its intended target. Eurastar was given nothing else for her efforts, save for a massive migraine that threatened to split her brain in two.

Upon seeing Eurastar’s agony, Star gave a victorious smirk. Another attack ought to do her in. Star waggled her fingers again, trying to match the tempo that yielded the Dynamicpunch. Fighting-type the resulting move was, but it possessed only a tiny fraction of the power. Star ran up to her opponent, her tiny fist clenched, and lashed out with a fairly light blow. She gave a scowl, highly disappointed with the wimpy attack. Feeble as the Rock Smash was, Eurastar was so weak that it had her teetering on the edge of unconsciousness.

Eurastar retched as another wave of dizziness crashed onto her. It took a moment for her to recover. Then, with a shudder, she attempted another Metronome, begging for release from her pain – Memento, Lunar Dance, hell, even Explosion sounded good about now. Instead, Eurastar was granted reprieve in another form. Again she was forced to exercise her already-overstretched brain, but this time it was to establish a mental link. Once that was accomplished, Eurastar felt her opponent’s life force flow into her as their states were balanced. The flow of vitality ended all too quickly, though. In the end Eurastar felt only slightly better, while Star staggered but recovered her posture fairly quickly.

Star frowned. It seemed that the two Cleffa were now on fairly equal footing. Of course, both were weakening – hopefully another powerful attack would put Eurastar away for good. Star flailed her arms in a frenetic, almost war-like rhythm, and she cackled with glee as she felt pure energy focus in her forehead. Oh yes, this would be a deadly hit. The energy, represented by a white glow, writhed before straightening out into a sickle, curving slightly at the tip. Star blinked. Okay, horns looked stupid on her, but whatever would win her the battle. She charged forward yet again, this time with her head lowered, and caught the fleeing Eurastar in her side. A bloodcurdling shriek rent the air. The horn had pierced the Cleffa’s skin and dug its way into her flesh; Star growled and shook her head, lifting Eurastar into the air and throwing her unceremoniously to the ground, blood pouring from the great wound. Again Eurastar found herself slipping halfway into oblivion, black spots trying to swallow her vision.

Weakening rapidly, Eurastar’s only wish was to return to her Pokeball for a much-needed rest. Desperately she called to her trainer, screaming at him to take out her Pokeball so she could recall herself and escape the agony wracking her body. But her efforts amounted to nothing; some mystical force prevented her from dissolving into red light and zipping into the safety of the capsule. The Cleffa gave a plaintive wail, then, finding nothing else to do, miserably held her hand to her side to try to staunch the bleeding.

Legendaryseeker99 (O)

Cleffa
Eurastar (F) <Simple>
Health: 3%
Status: About to black out. In terrible pain. Confused (mild to moderate). +6 Attack, -1 Speed.

sreservoir (O)

Cleffa
Star (F) <Magic Guard>
Health: 13%
Status: Brutally certain of her victory. Surrounded by Stealth Rock, Embargoed.

Terrain notes
Metronome has produced a large chunk of magnetic metal, a pool of water, and a pool of toxic sludge with eggshells resting in it.

Final notes
Legendaryseeker99 attacks first next round.
Eurastar used: confusefail (would’ve been Body Slam) ~ Pain Split ~ Baton Pass (failed)
Star used: Dynamicpunch ~ Rock Smash ~ Megahorn
After the Rock Smash, Eurastar literally came within 1% of fainting. If Star didn’t have Magic Guard and was affected by Stealth Rock, Eurastar would’ve had 1% after the Megahorn.

Waitwait sorry, I copied the health percentage from another reffing in the document and forgot to change it, though the ending percentage is correct.
