Sorry for the double post :[ Would I be able to take any experience off of this guy or no? There isn't any EXP listed so I'd assume not, but..?
 
I assume he must have gotten EXP at some point. If you point me to it, I can take it off, yes.

Yup, that's indeed true. They evolve via happiness points, not EXP, so removing EXP will not cause them to devolve.

is this true for pokemon that are evolved by trading, too? since they don't need EXP to evolve, either. :o
