I SWORE it could have...

Yawn, then use Protect and Substitute for 15%. If you are taunted just go for THREE TIMES THE POWERS OF THE ANCIENT

Yawn/ANcientPower~Protect/AncientPower~Substitute (15% sounds good)/AncientPower

Alright! Use Protect, and follow it with a Chill. If for some reason the thought of you chilling causes an ancient power, use Shadow Punch. Finish with Bulldoze.

Eventually, Superbird waves his flags again to signal the start of round 4. Clyde sees this, and decides to be the first one to attack this time around. He opens his mouth wide…and yawns loudly. But as God looks on puzzled, he notices a pink bubble floating lazily in his direction. He decides it must be an attack, a result of his opponent’s giant yawn, and decides to protect against it—yawns are known to be contagious, and he does not want to go to sleep now. As the bubble draws near, God puts up his arms and forms a green translucent shield that encases his body, destroying the bubble on contact.

Now that that’s over, God decides it’s his turn to attack. Following his orders, he uses his ghost-type powers to make his hand glow with a dark aura, and gets ready to rush towards his opponent. Clyde looks on, and it slowly begins to dawn on him that his opponent is getting ready to attack him. So the Numel does the same thing that his opponent did before, creating a green energy shield of his own. However, upon noticing it, God realizes something. Were he to attack, it would be useless. So he just sits down to replenish his energy instead.

Soon, Clyde realizes that he’s been tricked; his opponent wasn’t even going to attack him at all, he just made it look like he was going to in order to deceive him. Well, he’s not too happy about that! As much as he’d like to just roast his opponent in a nice, steamy Flamethrower, he can’t disobey his trainer. Slowly, the Numel begins to channel his life energy into his mouth. Too slowly. Before he can let out his Substitute, God comes crashing into the volcano camel, burying part of his body. The impact forces all of the energy out of Clyde’s mouth, and it condenses into a little green-and-white dinosaur who begins to bounce quietly on the ground, ready too late to protect its creator from anything.

Superbird has waved his referee flags to signal the start of round 5, and God is pumped! He’s ready to beat that Numel’s substitute to a pulp immediately. He begins to charge his fist with ghost-type energy, and prepares to run forward – but then notices his opponent begin to open his mouth wide…and yawn. Huh, that was strange. He had done that last round. Was he actually tired? But the fight had just begun! Well, maybe it was because he had taken so much damage. God was so caught up in praising himself, he almost forgot to protect against the attack. In the nick of time, the Golett materialized a translucent green shield of energy to protect himself from the pink bubble his opponent’s Yawn attack had spawned.

And that was it, right? He could attack again, right? God began to let down his Protect attack, ready to charge his fist once more with ghost-type energy. But then, his opponent yawned again, letting out another pink bubble which began to lazily float through the air in God’s direction. Goodness, the little camel was sleepy tonight, wasn’t it? Despite the fact that he really wanted to punch the Substitute’s brains out, he decided he would have to obey his opponent’s trainer – or was it his trainer now? Ahh, it was so confusing! But that was beside the point. He kept his green shield up, and once again the Yawn bubble popped against it.

He let it down tiredly, though, as soon as the bubble had disappeared. A Protect shield was incredibly tiresome to keep up, as any pokemon knew, and all God wanted was to unwind and destroy his opponent. It was due time – if that Numel would just cooperate! But again, Clyde yawned, his eyes closing briefly. Jeez, at this point it almost looked like he was sleeping on his feet! But orders were orders. For the third time in the round, God tried to conjure up a Protect…and failed. The green globe flickered briefly in and out of existence, soon disappearing harmlessly. Because God hadn’t had the energy to maintain it, the bubble managed to float past this time, and make contact. The moment it popped, God suddenly felt tired. He yawned. Oh, great.

God shakes his head back and forth. He doesn’t want to go to sleep, he’s not even tired! No wait, yes he is. He’s incredibly tired, but he doesn’t want to be! But he’s so drowsy…he might as well get one last attack off before he falls asleep. The Golett holds out his hand and begins to generate an attack. Immediately, toxins begin to appear on the skin near his hand, and they all quickly condense into one blob. As soon as the Toxic attack is ready, God pitches it up in the air toward his opponent. However, instead of bursting on its target, the toxic blob bounces harmlessly off of a greenish translucent energy shield. God curses as his eyes close and he crashes to the ground shoring.

Meanwhile, Clyde is humming to himself. That looked good, at least. His opponent is down for the count, at least for the time being. So now what is he supposed to do…? Oh, yes, make a Substitute. But doesn’t he already have a Substitute? That would be kind of redundant, so the Numel forgets about the Substitute and instead focuses on using his powers of Earth. Chunks of the Battle Factory wall tear themselves out and begin to fly through the air, glowing, at God. Even though they all bounce off without doing much damage, the impact is enough to make God somewhat restless. Clyde silently wonders how much longer his opponent will sleep now as the ref boringly waves a flag up and down.

God is still snoring when the next round starts. That gives Clyde a free action, and the Numel does not intend to waste that. He begins to attempt to dig through the Battle Factory’s thick floor, and with the help of his Substitute he succeeds after a few minutes. As soon as he’s broken the surface, Clyde digs more easily down to a nice five meters or so, curving the hole at the end so as not to be vulnerable to any attacks from above. There, he begins to say several ancient chants, and as he performs the Curse that his ancestors had passed down, he sacrifices his speed for some physical buffs.

That’s when God finally blinks awake. Ah, what has he been doing for the last round? Well, he figures, he’d better make up for his loss of time now. Without giving a thought to his opponent’s location, God rushes forward and dives, slamming into the ground with a hefty amount of force. But he’s missed his target, he realizes as he flies over Clyde’s hole in the floor. Meanwhile, Clyde himself is oblivious to his opponent’s newfound consciousness, and is busy performing the sacred chant again. When it’s finished, the Numel feels more superior than his opponent, finally – though fatigue is starting to wear him down.

I think I'll switch to Link. Is that one action or a whole turn?

If one action:

Swtich to Link~Fake Out~Mach Punch

If it'd a whole turn just ignore that.

EDIT: Or, if I get is for free, do this:

Fake Out~Mach Punch~Mach Punch

what is this turn of which you speak

nevertheless, switching takes neither a full action nor a full round -- it simply ends the round at the end of the action when a pokémon leaves the field.
