Tribute
You are a god without a people. A lonely, wandering deity who craves worship, yet finds none. That is, until you stumble upon the Poni people.
The Poni are a very superstitious tribe whose polytheistic religion comprises of thousands of gods. These gods are responsible for anything, from bringing rain to smiting an enemy tribe. The Poni are constantly looking for new deities to worship.
The Poni possess herds of Pokemon that they are willing to sacrifice as tribute to their gods. However, the Poni are very poor and need money to barter with the neighbouring tribes.
You strike a deal with the Poni. For $4, they will worship you and bring (multiple) Pokemon as tribute. However, they don't know what kind of deity you are, so you will need to use your loud, divine voice to declare your holy demands. Unfortunately, the Poni are not very intelligent and will frequently misinterpret your words.
You may either accept or reject the tribute of the Poni. However, once you have accepted six or more Pokemon as tribute, they will be unable to keep up with your demands and cease worshiping you. Likewise, if you reject three tributes, the Poni will become aggravated and cease worshiping you. Poni will offer anywhere from one to three Pokemon as tribute, and the deal is all or nothing; that is, you may not accept specific Pokemon from a tribute.
All is not lost, however. When the Poni attempt to cease worshiping you, you may pay $2 to hire a prophet that will speak on your behalf. The prophet will negotiate with the Poni and convince them to offer two more sacrifices, which you may choose to accept or reject. After these two sacrifices, they will attempt to cease worshiping you again, at which point you may hire another prophet, and so on.
