Default The Habitat

There is a lone sprawl of land somewhere within the uninhabited part of Unova. No one goes there much, but it stretches on for what seems like hundreds of miles in all directions. Strange noises come from this area, which is surrounded by an electric fence. Not much comes in or out.

Upon further examination, however, it's discovered that the place was a construction zone for perhaps the most diverse area on the planet. Within a 300-square-mile area, countless different biomes have developed, and Pokémon are at home within them. It's as if the entire world had been shrunk down and put on display in this little area.

It opened not too long ago, but most people cling to their past superstitions and don't go in. However, there's not any real reason to avoid it. It seems like a fair enough place: the owner refers to it affectionately as "The Habitat," though technically it is known as "The Controlled Habitat."

There is no visible personnel, although you could be sure someone was watching you behind that glass panel. There is a sign by the entrance...

THE CONTROLLED HABITAT

Maintained by Lord Qvalador and his Highness I liek Squirtles
Welcome to the Controlled Habitat! Years of hard work by our trusty staff has provided for you one of the most diverse Safari Zones out there. Contained within are multiple biomes, with more to come with each passing moment. The rules are quite simple: upon entry, you are supplied with six Safari Balls (enough for a whole party to be caught!). Additional Safari Balls come in sets of three, which cost $3 a piece. Pokémon that you do not which to catch should be ignored. One of our friendly staff will redirect the Pokémon. There are several factions of Pokémon to be caught here, ranging from Common to Uncommon, to Rare to Super Rare. The costs are $1, $3, $5, and $7, respectively. Pokémon with alternative colourations come at no extra cost! That's our reward to you for finding such a specimen. Any Pokémon you catch is not valid until they are examined by one of our staff and are paid for in full. If there are multiple people in the Habitat, please quote the post that you are responding to. This makes it easier for the Safari Zone's owner to distribute Pokémon to the visitours. You must bring in one partner Pokémon with you. If you are inactive for three days straight, a transaction will be made and you will be charged in full for all that you have caught. A Pokémon that can learn Surf (including Pikachu) or a $2 Surfboard rental is required to enter the Ocean. A Pokémon that can learn Rock Climb or a $2 gear rental is required to enter the Mountain. You have the option to pay $15 to permanently double the shiny rate (for you only). We have provided a list of the Pokémon found in the Controlled Habitat, listed conveniently by rarity and biome.
