Arena: Coral Reef

This reef is full of undersea life. The reef's many colors can be somewhat distracting, as is its wildlife. Now and then, Sharpedo will see the battling Pokemon as targets, and attack. (There's a 25% chance of that happening.) The coral isn't sturdy and can break from nearly any phsyical attack. That includes the plates that make up a large portion of the floor. Algea often causes Pokemon to slip.(15% Chance.)

Other:Moves such as fly, dive, and bounce don't make a difference, as we are underwater. But you can use them for a faster way up or down.

.:Round One:.

The soft breeze swirls around the arena, the smell of salt filling the air. The ref takes a deep breath then turns to the two battlers before her. She reads out the list of pokemon that can be used, then waits for them to decide on their choice. After a moment of shuffling, two pokemon appeared in the forms of a small child with a green cap and a walking tadpole with a swirl. The ref notes down that Black Yoshi sent out his Ralts named Buddy, and that Yanmega sent out his Polywag named Bubbles. The Ref then flips the coin of destiny to decide who will attack first. The coin has decided that the battler Black Yoshi will be the first to attack call out the attacks. Both Trainers relay their attacks to their pokemon, then wait to see what will happen next.

Bubbles starts to study Buddy carefully, trying to find the little signals people send off when they are about to do something. She studies the Ralts body, movements, eyes, everything that is buddy and commits it to memory.
Buddy on the other hand chuckles softly as he hops into battle, looking around at the ocean view around them. Buddy then notices Bubbles staring at him intensely. Buddy shuffles his feet shyly, then decides to get out of the polywag line of sight. He starts to hops from rock to rock as fast as he could, trying to confuse the tadpole. The fast he goes, the more after images he leave behind. He then stops moving all together and looks around to see how many of him are left behind. He smiles as he sees four images of himself. He then waits for the next set of actions to ensue.

Bubbles looks around at the after images of the Ralts, trying to remember which one was the real Buddy. On a leap of true faith, she picks one of the five buddys in front of her to use her next attack on. Her eyes start to glow a eerie red color, locking her eyes with Buddy before her. After the light fades she grins as the Buddy before her falls flat on the rock. She hops a bit happy, nearly slipping off her rock but shifts her weight in time to not fall. She lets out a sigh of relief, thankful that she didn’t end up in the unforgiving ocean around the reef.

Buddy on the other hand snores softly in his sleep as the image of milkshakes and donuts fill his dreams.

Bubbles takes her time to hop from rock to rock, careful not to slip as she makes her way closer to the sleeping Ralts so she can deliver her final blow of the round. She hops into his rock and giggles a bit as she looks down at the sleeping Buddy. She turns her back to him and proceeds to slap him with as much force as she could muster with her tail, hitting three times in total for good measure. She then hops away as quickly as she could before the now awake Ralts could attack her from behind.
Buddy on the other hand hold his face, a tear threatening to roll down his face. He sniffles as he stands up and looks at Bubbles, then sticks his tongue out at her. He starts to hop as fast as he could from rock to rock, creating another set of after images as he goes. After a while, he finally stops onto rock and looks behind him. He smiles as he sees three other images of himself, then turns at the Polywag and sticks his tongue out at her

- You can’t combine Double team and Confusion. These attacks both need a lot of concentration. Sorry about that.
- Four clones were made on the first round.
- Mind reader has locked onto Buddy, that must suck.
- Buddy is asleep in the second round.
- Buddy was woken up by the slap…ouch.
- Three clones made in the last round.
- If anyone has a problem with Mind reader’s energy cost, tell me what bugs you.
- Yanmega attacks first
- So about not doing this earlier...my computer was having issue with my writing program....
