It's taken out of the games in the EU because PEGI has guidelines gambling in children's games has to follow, at least.

The August corocoro issue leak wasn't good. It showed Pokemon we already knew existed. Somehow, I feel that Aloe is going to use Snorlax/Munchlax and Dento is going to use Slowpoke.
 
Yeah I heard that. I'm glad there's no geodude. But what if Gigaiasu is the new geodude. That'll make caves or whatever hard to train in.

I doubt it. There is probably going to be another Rock-Type that will be the new cave-dweller/Rock Smash annoyance. There's just something about Gigaiasu that doesn't hit me as "common Rock-Type". I guess It's appearance makes me think that. But hey, It's possible Gigaiasu could have two pre-evos and be similar to Golem. (You know, capture Geodude, level it up to Graveler, then trade it to become Golem.)

But who knows? We just have to wait for CoroCoro, leaks, and September 18. I'm just hoping that Gigaiasu isn't the common Rock-Type.
 
Gigaiasu looks a bit too... fully-evolved to be showing up all over the place in caves like Geodudes did. If anything, it'll be its unevolved form showing up everywhere.

And really, Geodudes in all the caves weren't that bad, since they were slow enough to run away from and had two double-weaknesses to common types. It was Zubats and Golbats (especially Golbats!) that were really annoying.

Agreed. I can't picture the player walking into a cave and the game saying "A wild GIGAIASU appeared!". Like you said, it looks fully-evolved, or perhaps the second evolution?

Still, they were annoying as heck when I didn't have a flying Pokemon/Repels and I had to get through a cave. Zubats and Golbats were even worse, like you said.

So basiclly, I agree with everything you said.
 
I really hope someone comes up with a better translation for that new Bug-type move, because "Bug Resistance" is really bad.

Of course, back before D/P came out, everyone was translating Bug Buzz's Japanese name as "Bug Upheaval," which is equally awful-sounding... so I'm guessing it'll get a more sane name by the time the English version comes out.
 
What sounds dumb in English doesn't necessarily sound dumb (or as dumb) in Japanese. Or any other language for that matter.
 
Well, that kind of depends on the translation. What may have sounded really awesome in Japan may be translated and lose all of it's coolness. Though that's probably what you meant.

Bassroar seems pretty cool; it may just be me but it slightly resembles Old Snake. And if Gigaisu truly isn't a Nosepass thing (which it seems to be shaping up to be) it could very well have landed a spot on mah team.

Though it is interesting about how they speculate that Derpderp was strong and might be water/fighting, Pokabu having high hp and attack and Tsutarja being special attack focused don't particular surprise me, though I did kind of think Pokabu might have been slightly defensive. Of course, we still have a month to find out.
 
I wouldn't put it past the soccer moms and soccer mom husbands to angry letter the Casino out of B&W. Personally, I never spent much time there, so its no big deal tome.

I find it ironic, however, that in a world where the FPS genre thrives, our generic preppy, over-protective parents have their mind set on taking a harmless mini game out of a children's game. That's not to say parents leave CoD alone, but it alarms me that people even care about the Casino to the degree of having it removed entirely.
 
If I'm not mistaken, NoA and NoE are a single entity now. So if it's missing in Europe, it's going to be missing in the NA release, too.

Like you said, these are just the over-protective parents. I'm pretty sure that all other parents don't give a flying monkey crap if there's a Casino in the game. I remember playing the slots infront of my mom, she didn't care. My dad? Didn't care. My grandmother? Didn't care. Anyone? Didn't give a dang.

But I did like the slots, and I'm hoping It's in B&W. Voltorb Flip is just...ugh. HATE it. I just want to be able to play in the Game Corner again without having to flip over a card all the time and something exploding in my face.
