Yay, Po! ...Aw, don't worry. Just don't look into its eyes. Better yet, points its eyes towards your enemies. >:D

Well. Um. Huh. Might as well come up. But make sure your little buddy goes up first. Then spam Rock Slide at Hindenburg as long as your sub is intact. If at any point your sub is destroyed, use Toxic on Hindenburg until it is successful, and if there is an action left, Captivate on Pyrite. If at any point your target uses Protect/Detect or is impossible to hit (barring a substitute), use the attack on the other, and if both cannot be hit, use Sandstorm.

As the name suggests, this field is an enormously large Christmas pudding, at least two Wailords in diameter, sitting in a bowl with custard. A Pokémon can be commanded to take up an action to eat some of the pudding, restoring 10% health and 5% energy; however, due to the arena being very filling, this can only be carried out three times per Pokémon. At the beginning of the battle, the pudding and custard are extremely hot, so any Pokémon in contact with either of them receive 2% damage per round (increased to 4% for Ice types, reduced to 0% for Fire types) until round three, when it will be cool enough to eat. Any Pokémon attempting to eat the arena until then will suffer 3% damage, a 30% chance of a burn and the inability to use sound or biting based moves for a round due to a burnt tongue. Additionally, the pudding is soaked with some variety of liquor, meaning that any Pokémon eating it has a 25% chance to become drunk confused, and all Fire-type moves have a 10% chance to set the whole thing alight, dealing 3% Fire damage per round to any Pokémon who doesn't escape into the custard moat until it dies down. Finally, numerous coins are buried in the pudding for lucky and unsuspecting diners to find, and any Pokémon using Dig or any move that upturns the pudding (including eating it) has a 10% chance of gaining $1.

While Hindenburg eagerly shut his eyes in a much-anticipated rest, Pyrite shuffled her paws on the pudding nervously. Po had yet to resurface, and without the small metal-eating Pokemon visible Pyrite had no target. She waited for a few moments, but impatience quickly got the better of her and she trotted over to the nearest hole. Peering into the tunnel gave Pyrite no information on Po’s whereabouts, though, and with a shrug the Eevee kicked some pudding into the tunnel, hoping that it would, by some miracle, strike her opponent.

Unfortunately for Pyrite, the miracle she was hoping for didn’t happen. Po was already tunneling upwards, and soon enough he broke the surface. After a fair amount of squirming, Po managed to push his Substitute out of the tunnel first before clambering back onto the surface himself.

Hearing the squelching sounds that meant a heavy Pokemon was walking on the pudding (process of elimination meant that Po had resurfaced), Hindenburg opened his eyes and began to whip his appendages in the air in front of him. Another misty ball took form, and a strong uppercut sent it hurtling towards the sky. When it came down it had taken on a bluish hue, haven absorbed water-type energy as it mingled with the clouds overhead. The now-watery Weather Ball crashed onto the Substitute that had shoved its master out of the way at the last possible second. The force of the impact reduced the structure into a small pile of sodden pudding.

Meanwhile, Pyrite was peering at the surface at her paws. Surely her trainer didn’t expect her to conjure sand from thin air? Shrugging, the Eevee trotted up to Po and kicked pudding in his face, hoping that that was satisfactory. As luck would have it, the pudding Pyrite kicked up was wet from the Weather Ball and thus stuck to Po’s skull, obscuring his vision and causing minor discomfort besides.

If Po was hoping to get his revenge for all this outrageously unfair double-teaming, his hopes were quickly dashed as his trainer yelled out a long, complicated set of commands that were impossible to follow. The Aron tried his best to wrap his head around the words, but as soon as he caught one phrase, another wriggled from his mind’s grasp.

While he was thinking, another watery sphere dropped down on Po’s head, causing him to gasp in cold and pain. Already he was feeling worse for wear. He glared at Hindenburg, who had created the Weather Ball, but the balloon Pokemon was hunched over, panting.

Pyrite narrowed her eyes at Hindenburg as well, but it was to aim the Shadow Ball she had created. The murky black orb collided with Hindenburg, leaving a small burn on his hide. He winced as the ghostly energy reacted with his own, but previous boosting meant that he could deal with the pain reasonably well.

Unfortunately for Po, his commands were once again too complicated for his tiny brain to comprehend, and all he could do was huddle on the pudding, shivering.

Once again, Po was still underground when Pyrite was ordered to attack him, so Mud Slap missed.
There’s a lack of sand on the arena, so Pyrite used pudding instead. She rolled a very good number, though, so I treated it as a typeless Mud Slap.

Hindenburg all but sagged to the ground in relief when his trainer told him he was free to have a rest. He closed his eyes for a much-needed break when he heard Pyrite calling his name. Mildly irritated that someone was interrupting his rest, Hindenburg reluctantly opened an eye. Pyrite had moved much closer to him – almost too close – and was regarding him with huge, shiny eyes. For some bizarre reason, Hindenburg found himself staring into the Eevee’s eyes; they were so big and he felt like he could get lost in their innocent, watery depths. Through it all, Pyrite showered the balloon Pokemon with compliments: how strong he must be, to knock out two Pokemon and remain standing, how persistent… et cetera.

Clearly the referee wasn’t very fond of Attract, as she sat down with a yawn, then turned her attention to Po. The Aron was pounding his feet on the pudding (unfortunately getting squelches instead of the drumming sounds he wanted) in a clumsy yet fascinating dance. Unfortunately, the dance didn’t have the effect that Po wanted. There was practically no sand present in the arena, so beyond whipping up a gale that lasted for only a few moments, Po accomplished little.

As it was still raining, Hindenburg created yet another Weather Ball (making sure to look cool for Pyrite), threw it high into the air, and brought it crashing down on Po’s back. Water droplets splashed everywhere. The targeted Pokemon whimpered pitifully, already flagging.

Since Pyrite was clearly safe from Hindenburg’s wrath, at least for the moment, she took the opportunity to have a quick rest. Truthfully, though, she wasn’t that tired, and she fidgeted a bit as the sounds of battle compelled her to join in the fight.

The “sounds of battle” Pyrite was hearing were little more than Hindenburg jeering at Po while he, of all things, stooped down to eat some pudding. Po was absolutely seething by this point, but he had to admit that the pudding was delicious and soothed his injuries. Finished with his brief meal, the Aron looked up, growled, and glared daggers at Hindenburg.

The Drifloon responded by lashing his appendages in the air once more, quickly crafting the Weather Ball that Po had grown to be painfully familiar with. He braced himself, cursing the stubby legs and heavy body that prevented him from fleeing.

As it turned out, Po had no need to brace himself. With a spectacular splash, the sphere of watery energy landed right next to the cowering Aron, creating a shallow crater and showering him with droplets of liquid. Across from Po, Hindenburg gaped at his miss.

Pyrite rolled her eyes at Hindenburg’s terrible aim, then trotted up to him and purred loudly to get his attention. Hindenburg turned around to be greeted by an Eevee with huge, adorable eyes. Though grimacing inwardly, Pyrite proceeded to plaster a wide, coy smile over her features and swish her tail from side to side. Seeing her endearing display, Hindenburg felt himself relax, some of the fighting spirit drained from him.

He stiffened again, though, this time with pain and indignation, as a certain 132-pound Pokemon rammed into him from behind. Hindenburg twisted around to shake an appendage at Po while rubbing a sore spot on his back with the other. That Aron’s head was hard.

Okay, apparently there's something in the rules that means that Lord Shyguy can change his commands if he wants now, based on Mike's switch. Since the round will end the action Hindenburg switches, though, you only need to alter your first command - the others won't take effect. Blargh I suck at explaining things. :v

Negrek said:
You can switch on the first action, and if you are the person ordering first, you just post that you're swiching X for Y, then give Y's three attacks for the round. If you're posting second, you post that you're switching and what you're switching to; the first player is then given the opportunity to re-order based on your switch, and you would post orders for the second pokémon after that point.

So basically, I think this means that Lord Shyguy can change his commands, and after he does change them or says he wants to stick with them, Blazie can post her commands.

Sorry, I didn't know you could do that. O.O
I've just changed them so that they target Freya, instead.

Hindenburg was reluctant to leave Pyrite so soon – he had such hopes for their relationship! – but his trainer decreed that it would have to be so. The Drifloon began to glow red and then bizarrely froze in place, without even the slight inflating and deflating that meant he was breathing. Suddenly, Hindenburg’s body condensed into a small red light and zipped back towards Mike, leaving traces of translucent scarlet on the battlefield. Before the remaining glow could fade away, Mike threw a Pokeball onto the pudding. This time, a small, shrew-like Pokemon emerged. Freya the Sandshrew blinked sleepily, then squeaked in surprise as the red traces seemed to dive into her body. Hindenburg’s temporary strength, bulkiness, and speed flowed into her, along with a strong attraction for a certain Eevee. Freya gazed at Pyrite before shaking her head in confusion. She was pretty sure she didn’t swing that way – right?

As Freya looked at Pyrite in bewilderment, the Eevee’s face began to scrunch up weirdly. Before anyone could react, she was sobbing. From underneath her eyelids, two exaggerated streams of tears poured out, and from her mouth came a plaintive scream (Hindenburg disappeared where is he where is my balloon). Panicked, Freya tried to comfort the wailing Eevee, patting her head and wiping away her tears, but in the end she did little more than drench her paws.

While Pyrite bawled and Freya desperately tried to avert the Flood, Po was focusing pure steel-type energy in his head. With his already-solid head and a good running start, he was able to give Pyrite a spectacular bruise to remember. The blow sent Pyrite skidding across the pudding. This time, her indignant cry and the tears that leaked from her eyes were genuine.

Apparently tired from all the melodramatic sobbing, Pyrite stretched her jaws in a yawn, sniffed a few times, then curled up in a comfortable ball with her tail draped over her nose. A few sniffs and whines still reminded Freya that she was not yet forgiven, however.

Exasperated by Pyrite’s mood swings, Freya threw her hands up in the air. With a fed-up huff she began to dig rapidly at the pudding, throwing great clumps of it over her shoulder. Rapidly the Sandshrew disappeared from view. Soon, the faint shuffling sounds of the shifting of pudding stopped, and deep underground, Freya sat back and breathed in the delicious smells of her small, impromptu cavern.

For the entire action, Po had stood there with a look of paranoia on his face, as if he was expecting an attack. When Pyrite dozed off and Freya vanished under the surface of the pudding, however, the Aron relaxed and began to fiddle with the charges of the pudding directly underneath him and his own metal body. After several failed attempts, Po began to rise slowly into the air, stopping when he was hovering about two feet from the ground. His position wavered dangerously, however, as 132 pounds of steel wasn’t the easiest thing to keep aloft.

The rain began to thin out and the clouds gradually began to draw back to allow some sun to peek through.

A soft rustling sound drew Po’s attention. Pyrite stood up and wagged her tail at him before stretching her jaws in another huge yawn. Suddenly, Po found the small cat-like creature’s lethargy to be contagious, and his eyelids drooped. He couldn’t resist letting out a small yawn of his own. A quick glance around the pudding confirmed that neither Pyrite nor Freya were intent on causing him harm (where was Freya, anyway?), and though his trainer’s commands were quite confusing, Po immediately latched onto one option. Taking a rest seemed like a splendid idea.

Underground, Freya had made her cave larger, spacious enough for her to move about in. There, she began to twist and jump about in an ancient war dance, moving gracefully as she dodged and slashed at some invisible enemy. At regular intervals she smashed her front paws together, claws grinding against and sharpening each other. The dance sent adrenaline pumping through her blood and stimulated her fighting spirit.

Meanwhile, on the surface, Pyrite was facing a dilemma. She was only given one option, yet her target was nowhere to be found. With an irritated sniff she sat back on her haunches and swished her tail about.

Po was practically asleep by now, but he reluctantly swiped a foot at the pudding, tossing a sizeable chunk of it in the air. It landed with a wet splat and the Aron infused it with a bit of his life energy before dozing off again. It didn’t hurt to have some protection while he slept, right? As Po began to snore quietly, the pudding contorted and bent itself, eventually forming a small, dark-brown Aron look-alike.

Suddenly, the ground below Pyrite seemed to explode. She cried out in surprise as she was tossed in the air amidst a flurry of pudding, and again as Freya tackled her to the ground. The pudding cushioned a bit of the blow, but the attack still hurt. Freya was much, much stronger than her petit form suggested. Pyrite licked at the fast-forming bruise while giving Freya a frosty glare.

Terrain notes
There are two patches of sickly purplish pudding where the two Toxics struck. A short tunnel has been dug under the surface of the pudding, the two entrances/exits roughly six feet apart. Two more tunnels have been excavated: both slope sharply down and then abruptly level off. Both return to the surface.
Yet another tunnel has been dug out. This one does not go too deep. At its deepest point is a small cavern.

Final notes
Meowth attacks first next round, followed by Blazie, and finally, Lord Shyguy.
I just realized I’ve still been calling Blazie BlazieAura in the Pokemon summaries OTL;;
Po had too many conditionals to choose from in the second action. However, thanks to Yawn’s influence, I just had him Chill.
Pyrite did not attack on action 3 due to Freya’s absence.
