Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

blazheirio889 vs. Heavy Lobster

I... What... DOORG! I misread Blazhy's commands -.-

Alright, we've lost anyway, but it's fun to try as hard as we can >:D

Send down those Thunders like never before. If you can, put extra energy into them to try and make them more powerful. If he uses another weather move use Rain Dance.

Wa-HOOOOOOOOO *is kinda high right now*

Let's go out with a bang! Uber-combo-attack yes~ Is it just me, or do I end basically every one of my battles with a combo attack?

Quick Attack + Double Team + Brave Bird. Make the clones while you're using Quick Attack - you should be able to make more clones than normal with the speed boost - and then use the remaining speed to add some more punch to the Brave Bird. A bit of overkill, but who cares? And after Catastrophic has been downed, circle her with your clones and do a Kratosscreech- *shot by Kratos*
...Now if it turns out that the RNG gods decide to hate us and crush you with paralysis on the first action, do nothing. Absolutely nothing. This doesn't count as an attack or anything, so you should be able to pull off that 3-attack combo on the 2nd action. If you can't attack on the 1st or 2nd actions, instead use Quick Attack + Aerial Ace + Wing Attack on the 3rd. Basically, slam into Catastrophic and slice her with wing and beak. We can't risk fainting from recoil damage, can we?

Arena: Aipom Island

It's an island. A relatively large island. The sand on the shore is soft, the waves are gentle and perfume the air with a whiff of salt. The battle is held on the shore, which can comfortably fit two and a half Metagross. Deeper into the island, a forest grows.
Aipom inhabit said forest. These Aipom are very curious and are drawn to loud noises, and therefore by a few rounds the battlers would probably find themselves with an audience. They all carry an Oran berry, apple, or a rock. Pokemon can be ordered to attack an Aipom to steal their item; an Oran berry can be consumed to heal 5% HP, while an apple will heal 3%. However, you don't know what the Aipom's holding until you attack it, and if it's holding a rock, it'll throw it at its attacker, causing 2% damage. It's up to the referee what the Aipom are holding.

The rain continues to drench the combatants as they stand on the shores of Aipom Island, staring each other down. It's clear to both of them that this is the final showdown- Ventus gasps slightly for breath, charred and bruised, but deadly determined. Catastrophic on the other hand looks far worse off; her body is riddled with scratches and cuts, and she seems to be fighting for air and the ability to stand both at once. The Aipom cluster at the treetops, peering through the downpour to watch how the battle's ending unfolds.

A mad glint shines in Ventus' eyes as she surveys her opponent. The Absol has done well so far... but its luck has run out. Before Catastrophic can move, Ventus swoops into the air at lightning speed and rockets towards the Absol. She dives, curves and loops in the air, which to the naked eye just descends into a blur of afterimages. The terrified Catastrophic tries her best in her weakened state to escape but it is much too late. The ridiculously fast mass of Taillows shoot right up to her and finally dive bomb with all the force in their tiny bodies right into the Absol's head. The immense force knocks the target to the floor with an enormous thud, sending a cloud of sand and feathers streaming up into the air. A series of snarls and chirps emanate from the swirling mass, but nothing can be seen within it. The battlers and referee wait until the cloud subsides, silent except for the rain pouring down on them. Finally, a bruised, beaten, largely featherless group of Taillow limp out of the mess, turn to the fallen Catastrophic, and let out a loud screeching chirp. With that victory call, Ventus dismisses her clones and collapses to the floor, exhausted but happy. Blazhy calls the bird back to its ball, thrilled with her victory, and Heavy Lobster follows suit with Catastrophic just after, proud with the Absol's brave effort.

Suddenly, a loud cry is heard from the shallows, almost like song; the three look around to see a Lapras dispatched by the League to return the Trainers to civilisation. They wave goodbye to the Aipom, who return to the peace of their forest, and climb aboard the Lapras' shell, Blazhy and Heavy Lobster being only too thrilled to get off this damn island at last.

Terrain Notes
Heavy rain would have stopped on the third action, but there wasn't one.

Final Notes
- God only knows what that combo would have done damage wise, but it's pretty clear Catastrophic was toast.
- Blazhy, you seemed to indicate that you wanted as many clones as possible from Double Team, and I decided a Taillow using Quick Attack could easily whack out about ten, at least.
- The inclusion of Quick Attack meant Ventus went first, meaning Catastrophic never got to cast one final Thunder. Poor thing.

As the Lapras carries the battlers and their referee back to the League, Mike pulls a wad of money out of his pocket and begins to distribute it. Blazhy is given $16 for her victory. Another $6 goes to the gracious loser Heavy Lobster, and the remaining $10 is split into two fives; one goes in Mike's wallet, the other back into his pocket to give to Aethelstan, should he ever be seen again. In addition, Garnet and Catastrophic receive 1Exp, Head-Shot recieves 2Exp, and Ventus recieves 3. Great battle guys, I enjoyed rescuing it~

Good battle, Heavy Lobster! :D Damn, that was pretty close. If it weren't for the turn orders, I probably would've been toast.
