[15] I Liek Squirtles vs Wargle (ref: Meursault)

The Pokemon set into motion before the hats could be properly adjusted upon their heads. Scraggy peeled himself off the outer wall of the makeshift stadium and swung his hand around. The strangely black limb thwacked Mr. Turtle right across the face, doing more good than harm. The blow gave the water type enough of a shock to jolt him out of his stupor, and he shook his head violently. Wayward droplets sprayed onto the unknowing spectators, some who tutted at such indecent invaders. Mr. Turtle growled at Scraggy, how dare he try and use the same trick twice. A cloak of water covered his shell almost immediately. The spectators screamed, they knew what was about to happen.

Mr. Turtle cocked his head into his shell and shot forward, speeding into Scraggy’s almost recumbent form. They cracked through the stands, splintering the wood and ripping apart banners of cloth. Mr. Turtle, now draped in a damp advertisement for coffee to almost blindness, continued to rocket forward. He would carry them on as far as he could go, which was until he hit a wall. Scraggy splat against it, and the final thump of Mr. Turtle’s head ejected all the built up momentum into him. They slid down the far brick wall in a similar fashion to their last encounter with masonry, and Mr. Turtle jumped back up. He swished his tail from side to side, the ripped banner now a cloak singing his victory. A timely wind picked up and attempted to blow the cape of caffeine like a flag, but to no avail. It was stuck too close to the triumphant Wartortle’s skin. Like true victory would, he thought.

Scraggy’s Health:
4 – 6 (Aqua Jet) = beveraged.

Scraggy’s Energy:
48 – 4 (Fake Out) = 44%

Mr. Turtle’s Health:
26 – 10 (Sucker Punch) = 16%

Mr. Turtle’s Energy:
41 – 2 (Aqua Jet) = 39%


Notes:
-Fake Out was used before, so Scraggy used Sucker Punch instead.
-Torrent was active on the first action of this round (technically on the final action of last round, but that was inconsequential), so more jet to the aqua.

-And so the battle comes to a close, I Liek Turtles is granted $20 and some Rare, imported Candy from the nearby café (which appears to have been destroyed by a banana-shaped dinosaur and a ghost). Mr. Turtle, adorned in the garb of victory, earns 2 EXP and 2 Happiness.
-Wargle for braving the gauntlet that is Santalune City’s town square and its accompanying fountain, receives $10. Scraggy the aptly named Scraggy edges closer to his true form of Scrafty the Scrafty with 1 EXP and 1 Happiness.
-I am bestowed $18 in ASB Cashbucks (CSB) for reffing the battle all the way through. At least I think that’s how it works.

Minor nitpick, I had if you've used Fake Out before use Sucker punch as a conditional. Wouldn't have mattered but still.
