anyway, so uh my mother asked me the other day if I wanted any t-shirts or anything for my birthday
and I was going to jokingly tell her that I'm still waiting for that Opeth t-shirt that never arrived due to the person we had asked before to buy one having no idea where to go (despite us giving him the specific address...)
but anyway so I was browsing ponychan/equestriadaily at the time, so I actually accidentally said Rainbow Dash instead of Opeth, wtf... and my mum asked me "What's that?"
I didn't want her to find out from any place else, and I knew she used to love cartoons many years ago, so I told her to grab a chair, had told her about the fandom of the cartoon, and had shown her Fall Weather Friends
I was eagerly waiting for her reaction; at first she was just looking at the screen with her eyebrows raised but also looking rather surprised, then she suddenly bursted out laughing.. I haven't heard her laugh for ages... She said this is one of the cutest cartoons she has ever seen
long story short, she now wants to see all episodes, and I might actually get a Rainbow Dash t-shirt for my birthday today besides other presents
