• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Pixelion

Yes, it's a forum. Yes, it's rather empty. Yes, I have a reason for making it.

The main focus of Pixelion is pixelart/spriting. I've noticed two trends amoung pixel forums: They're either:
A. Too amateur. Waaaay to amateur. Like, they don't even give criticism and tell people with terrible copy+paste mixes that they're AMAZING and stuff.
B. Too advanced. Sure, it's nice for people like Fool to be able to get crit at places like Pixeljoint or Pixelation, but we're not all Fool. We don't all understand terms like 'antialiasing' and not all of us have graduated beyond simple recolors or edits yet.

tl;dr version: This is a pixelart forum meant for ANYBODY. Beginner or advanced.

We also offer forums for other creative pursuits, such as writing, regular art, and roleplaying, so feel free to showcase your other talents as well as getting crit on those.

Basically I'm looking for people with a passion for the arts to help get me started. So what do you say?

(and don't mind the lack of a banner... once I get enough members I'll cross that hurdle)

I'll join, even though I don't sprite anymore. I damn hope it won't all be about Pokémon now.

I've noticed this rule, though.
Do not post or link to content which infringes on or violates existing copyrights.
Will your people follow it, or ignore it? I wanna make sure.
