hdjgh fine bring it. Use Last Resort, then combo Last Resort with Quick Attack! If that's stupid and you can't combo Last Resort with anything, just use it by itself then Sucker Punch. Do extra damage and use more energy, if you can!

A decently stage floating through space, passing through places that make pretty backgrounds. A pool the size of a wading pool has been installed under the main stage for this battle, though it's inaccessible. There's vents surrounding the stage where water can be drawn up from the pool for attacks.
Arena status: A star has fallen on the center of the platform.

-----

Yet another new pair faced off. One would have to wonder to what extent these frequent switches were stalling the match -- although one would be wondering how much longer it'd take for a knockout to occour, when one did, it was likely for others to ensue shortly thereafter in a match-ending, decisive streak of moves.

Having had a whole end of round to let the strange greetings settle in, Always cut to the chase ruthlessly, first causing a sentence to look gramatically strange by means of her nickname, then fluttering over her opponent and spilling over a wave of salty water, getting a rise out of every single bruise in the target -- and there weren't few, thanks to the frequent psychic slams.

In response, Java again attacked by mustering every last bit of her determination, her glowing tail serving first as a spring for hurling towards the foe, and then as a powerful battering weapon, repeatedly smashing the Ducklett as the Sentret spun in the air wildly.

Just when the attack broke off, there was a sudden, blink-and-you'll-miss-it blast right where the shiny Pokémon was about to land. The burst of psychic energy added one last wound to the many she had been sporting, finishing her off for the first knockout of what was likely to become a flowing string.

The hovering platform moved away from the beautful sea and into a pocket of sheer darkness. Before the trainers knew what was going on, they were suddenly back to the same spot where the battle started -- mostly a plain spacial landscape, although a galaxy could be seen far away.

hjgggfine let's go Storm. This is going to be ridiculously close.

Use Draco Meteor! That should do it, most likely. If Always Protects, use Dragon Dance. If she switches to Loa, use Hydro Pump. Go ahead and Draco Meteor Rem or a Substitute, though. Then Dragon Claw, or if Loa's out Hydro Pump a bunch. If your opponent Protects/Detects/Substitute/Double Teams/Rem switches on, switch with Vuvuzuru.

Use Me First to pre-empt that Draco Meteor and turn it right back at Storm! Then you should either celebrate if it worked or die if it didn't.

The thirteenth round was quite open-and-shut.

As earlier, Storm started to attack with a massive surge of draconic force, mobilizing a faraway star; however, Always, with a burst of speed and plenty of energy, took control of this power.

The Shelgon didn't have the time to realize what was going on before the meteor smashed her, leaving a dangerous crack in its wake as it slid off the Final Destination.

And then -- eugh, what the hell is that? This is probably not what your trainer meant by "yay", Ducklett. And besides, "no item" probably means "no drugs", so, put that down.

Oh what is this drugs are bad, Always! Where did you even get that? Stop it! Unless they are EXP steroids in which case you have my full permission.

Right, uh... Let's see if we can pull this off! Probably not, but...! Always, dodge and attack Fly. Keep doing that until Vuvuzuru is dead.

If Vuvuzuru tries to Counter, though, just Fly until you're out of range of most of her attacks (shouldn't be hard since she doesn't get many special moves), though make sure that you're not so far that you can't hit her, either. Then let it rain saltwater. Keep the Brine coming! Also do that if she seems to be trying to outwait you.

If you see a Smack Down coming (though I don't see how, since there no projectiles to throw, but just in case!), hit Vuvuzuru with Fly as soon as possible if you are in the air, then follow up with Brine if she has not yet fainted.

And if Vuvuzuru ever lunges at you really fast like woah (basically, Fake Out or anything combined with Fake Out), Protect.

Fly/Protect ~ Fly/Brine/Protect ~ Fly/Brine/Protect

I can't let you win 3-0; terrible, terrible. That's 0% and we discussed getting <95% already.

I guess wave your arms around a bit like you're trying to hit Always when she flies up, and then when she's swooping down at you Roar at the top of your lungs. Hopefully that startles her and makes her drop out of the sky or something! If she does, go ThunderPunch her in the face. If she's still in the sky but startled/stunned/flinched whatever, knock her down with Smack Down. And uh, if you get hit with Fly before you can Roar, ThunderPunch her in the face.

If you Roar+ThunderPunched her last action, Always should be dead and you should go Swagger around! (But don't actually that would waste energy.) If you Smacked her Down, then I guess you can't do anything now. If you can, ThunderPunch until she dies though!

-----

After the quickest rehabilitation session ever, the battle was back in comission.

Windyragon's final sendout was a familiar face -- that which Loa had been punching flat at the beggining of the match. It was highly visible that the match was swiftly coming to an end.

Vuvuzuru was quick to put on the act. She slowly approached her opponent, then started battering away at the air and making perfectly hopeless attempts at throws. Naturally, Always made sure to stay out of what a real attempt at attacking would have as a range, flying backwards quite a few ways.

By the time she was nearly out of the platform, she knew it was time to push the fight towards the other side. Fluttering up a little higher, she swooped fearlessly. However, that adverb was soon to be rendered meaningless, as the Scraggy made her presence known with a primal, reverbing shriek.

While she wasn't fast enough to deliver a blow still while her target was recovering from the display, she did manage to stay in favourable positioning. When her fist crackled with loose charge, the taser punch went off without a hitch.

The electricity wrecked major chaos in every part of the Ducklett's body. It was actually severe enough that many spots of her body became charred, in spite of the relatively minor amount of voltage coursing. She could hardly think straight; her consciousness was fading. Even as dizzy as that, however, she managed to take off and deliver an airborne tackle.

Also fading away from the square blow to the head, the lizard hooligan tried to land another ThunderPunch; less lucky than her enemy, however, she was in absolutely no condition to hit a target that kept on moving away. The job of biting the static was ultimately left to the Final Destination.

The duckling Pokémon could clearly see that her foe was a sitting duck (or lizard) after the failed motion, and swiftly went for the finisher. It didn't take an impact as strong as most; just about half the effort would do just fine. The finishing swoop hit squarely on Vuvuzuru's legs, tripping her up and causing her to hit the ground headfirst before finally passing out. Nearly fainting herself, Always had to be recalled before any amount of congratulation could be delivered.

The Final Destination hovered over the sea and towards the sunset once more as Metallica Fanboy gave out the battle prizes.

Arena status: The star has fallen off the platform.

Additional notes:
- The Roar combo didn't go through, but it did disgruntle Always enough to disrupt the dodging. This granted Vuvuzuru a more favourable roll in ThunderPunch, and she did ultimately hit.
- The other roll wasn't as successful, however, ultimately allowing for Always to dodge and take victory.

I guess this one goes to the Hall of Fame, since it was a 3-0 victory. Anyways, the prizes are as follows:

- blazheirio889 gets $24
- Windyragon gets $9
- I get $15
- Loa gets 1 exp
- Always gets 4 exp
- Rem gets 1 exp
- Vuvuzuru gets 1 exp
- Storm gets 1 exp
- Java gets 1 exp

And I suppose Rem's Moon Stone still takes effect, considering that the arena states that the effects of items are nullified, but not that the items are removed. Moon Stone's effect doesn't take place in the arena proper, after all.

Well, that's all, folks.

... oh wow, I wasn't expecting Always to pull through at all, haha. Sorry for robbing you of all your EXP Dragon ): This is why next time we battle, it should be set style!

Good game regardless~
