I got a new computer for my birthday two days ago and just got it set up today! Currently I'm reinstalling Final Fantasy XI and its expansions, then I've got some stuff on an external hard drive to transfer over... but so far it's been pretty smooth.

My old computer was born a ME and had Windows XP installed on it, so even though this PC is lolVista I think anything bought within the last ten years is improvement from the old one. Also my new monitor is huuuge!

We've got Dynamis on FFXI tonight (basically the equivalent of a WoW raid, for the only-slightly-MMO-savvy) so I'm wondering how this computer will handle it. The old one lagged pretty badly 'cause there were so many people on the screen at once...

But yeah, I'm really excited. x3
