• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

I WAS THERE

It was FUCKING AMAZING.

All these years and they're still not far off their peak.

The highlights for me were:

- Master of Puppets. MASTER OF FUCKING PUPPETS. LIVE. If you even like metal at all, you will realize why this is epic.
- I wore a Ride the Lightning T-shirt to the concert. Guess what was the fourth song they played?
- Fade to Black. Just... YES.
- Before Metallica played Enter Sandman, the screen zoomed in on James' right hand, which he formed into the metal sign. Then, he turned over his pick... it had the Metallica logo on it. Then, he played arguably the most iconic opening bars in metal, leading into the song. The crowd exploded, of course.
- My favourite Metallica song of all time is Creeping Death. After they ended the regular setlist, I knew they would soon be back for the encore. I was thinking, "Well, Creeping Death is a fairly deep cut and rather intense for their age now (which is probably why they didn't play Disposable Heroes or Dyers Eve), so..." Then... yes, CREEPING FUCKING DEATH WAS THE ENCORE. That was arguably one of the HIGHLIGHTS of my ENTIRE LIFE.
