B2/W2 Progress Thread

Lucario failed to seriously impress me when I used it in Platinum, but then I'm using Carvanha in my HeartGold so what do I know.

Funny enough, Rilou was like the second or third Pokémon I encountered at Floccesy Ranch, so I guess that was a rare stroke of luck for me. I didn't realise its encounter rate was so low. I didn't know it appeared in Black 2 either because I didn't check what Pokémon were available beforehand, so it was a cool surprise.

I was never that keen on Lucario, its design was alright but the amount of overexposure it got sorta grated on me. But I figured I'd give it a go for once, and its really grown on me both in battle and general appeal. I would really like to get aura sphere soon though.

Oh, I like Sharpedo. My main problem with Lucario is that it's rather flimsy, but Sharpedo is even flimsier.

I beat Black2 in five days, and that was working it around a social life and homeworks and stuff in college. It's a new record for me, every Black1 run was at least a week.

Quite probably my favorite team of all time, if not tied with my Emerald Blaziken/Ludicolo/Crobat/Shedinja/Girafarig/Manectric. Everyone on this team was pulling their own weight, which surprised me because I've had meh experiences with Flygons. Cinccino's Skill Link was fantastic, and Magnezone tanked physical hits liek a pro.

Cleared Black Tower less than a week later, now just working on filling the Habitat List.

It sucks that you can't get Stone Edge, Earthquake and a lot of other good TM's until post game...

I just beat the game. I really liked how the elite four was done, and the champion battle music(although their were too many stairs before the champion fight. Seriously, RSE had plenty of stairs, their's no reason to add more).

I probably won't post in this thread anymore. I know there's a ton of postgame stuff, but without any real way to measure my progress I don't think I'll be motivated to post(I was posting after every badge, if you couldn't tell). This whole game has been awesome, and I can't wait to explore the rest of it!

Overgrinding is best strategy. I got Sam to level 34 and then Elesa cried.

Right now, I'm at Route 23. Planning to get everyone up to level 62 at least for the E4 because I don't want any deaths; right now they're all around 60.

so i just beat the E4 and can I just say that while the E4's kind of easy the champion battle is 100% perfect and good and I want the battle theme to be playing constantly and everything is just A+ and super pretty.
