• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

My Pokemon Platinum Video Guide

Well, a couple things... all due respect, it's not much of a walkthrough if you don't actually walk viewers through things. I flicked through a couple of the videos, and it looks like you don't add any narration or anything to the videos, or even some sort of explanation of what it is you're doing in the vid in the written summary. These aren't so much walkthrough vids as invitations to other people to watch you play through the game, which isn't nearly as useful. The idea of a walkthrough is to explain for people who don't understand what's happening plot-wise, why you're deciding to do certain things, discuss strategies for beating a tricky spot that's made even more tricky by a lack of knowledge of Japanese. Think of it this way: what if you were taught to solve logarithms with only a set of examples and no explanation of what was going on. You'd probably get it eventually, and perhaps struggling to understand it would be more rewarding. Your videos as is are an example, not a guide.

And secondly, are you not able to record sound? The Platinum music is something that a lot of people really like, and so those just checking out the vids to see what Platinum's like, rather than pick up on the walkthrough part, would probably appreciate original audio over what you've dubbed in.

Ok I finally stocked it up with annotations. Now I'll try and see if I can get sound on it. Look and tell me please.
