Bulbasaur's Pokémon Arrangements

Re: Bulbasaur's Pokémon Arrangements

While I could export it as a MusicXML, the more complex notations get left out or screw the page up. And the pedal markings create some sort of ungodly mess over the page. Slurs aren't formed properly, and the staff spacing gets all messed up. So unless there's absolutely no other way for Linux users to listen to the scores, I'd rather not. I suggest you check out the links to music beside each piece (except for Primal Dialga, but that's also the most messed-up in terms of MusicXML). Meanwhile, I'll try to get acceptable results with converting it to MusicXML.

I give each piece at least a quick whirl before posting it up. The progression that you were talking about is pretty easily done; the one that I can't do at 3/4 speed is the one in the left hand in measure 3, where some notes should be an octave lower.

Finale is rather horrid about the formatting in XML, yes, but I'm mostly just interested in being able to actually *open* the file in MuseScore myself. I can listen just fine.

Huh, that measure looks pretty doable to me. Really wish I had a keyboard in this room, though.

Hey. Could you make an arrangement of the Route 12 music (Summer Version), and Route 10 for the following ensemble?

These are the instruments that we can play:

Person 1/ 2:
Piccolo
Flute
Alto Flute in G (We only have access to one Alto though)

I hope your alto player can seriously blow as it is very likely to be drowned out in this thick of a (reeded) ensemble. If you really want to use alto flute as opposed to a 2nd C flute (and, as an alto flutist myself, I wouldn't blame you) an isolated flute soli could be a possible remedy, as something of a suggestion? And maybe double cor anglais apart from that.

Alright, then. As asked, compressed MusicXML files have been added to the first post. Don't expect nice things out of them. Things WILL get left out, pages WILL get messed up. With the plug-in I found, though, it's bearable, if not usable. Funnily enough, Skyarrow Bridge got left untouched.

Pallet Town, HGSS is done! The MusicXML for this one is exceptionally horrible, so use at your own risk. I ended up making it quite a bit more complicated that I originally intended, and while it's easy to play, it's hard to play well.

Re: Bulbasaur's Pokémon Arrangements

I'm finished a preliminary version of one of dnlad's requests, Route 12. Google Docs is being a female canine and won't let me upload the score in .mus format, so I don't know where I can put it. If dnlad could contact me, then I guess we could work something out with that.

Please tell me what needs to be fixed in the score; I'll upload a final version with the changes once you do.
