• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

hehe some help?

Right I have several times tried to set up a professional website but had no luck. I couldn't find a good hosting place at all ^^; but today I found award star. Or well something like that. Anyways I know HTML and very little CSS but I was wondering if someone would like me to help get a website going. I have currently got a proboards forum but that doesnt allow me to do what I am after. You see, I want to set up a website that is invite only. If you're interested in helping me then feel free to PM ^.^

Sorry if I've placed this in the totally wrong place ^^; but it's more guidance I'm after =3 cause I always feel insecure about doing things like this on my own.

It can be done, it's all in the settings you use on the boards, I don't know if you can prevent people visiting entirely since you don't OWN the site, but you can prevent them from viewing most of the content.

oh people can visit the site xD just not post or anything =3 until they get an account. The hard thing is I'm trying to make it so that it can be directly linked to a game I'm designing. I have been to college and found out a few things ^.^
