Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

The alpha version of ATBBS was released today.

Features include:

- Automatic account creation. ATBBS users can easily keep track of their post history, settings, watched topics, etc., without needing to manually register.
- Zero chance of SQL injections.
- MediaWiki-style syntax (em, strong, headers, links, quotes). BBCode sucks.
- Powerful, easy-to-use moderation tools.
- Valid XHTML, minimal bandwidth usage† and graceful degradation for scriptless users.

Currently run by AnotherTalk (my site) and AnonChan.

† Proof: My site has managed to survive weeks of constant HTTP flooding from Kimmo Alm (known for taking down 4chan repeatedly).
