Doctor Kaminko's Experimental Stadium, Arena #44

Any claims that Doctor Kaminko does not test his Pokémon-related inventions before revealing them to the public (a public that is obviously too simple to appreciate their sheer genius) are, of course, entirely false. In fact, the Doctor has a dedicated space beneath his secret laboratory for just this purpose--his experimental stadium. At first glance it appears to be a fairly plain arena, with the standard clay floor, small pool for water-types and a weather generator that will respond to any weather-inducing commands. A few button presses and switch flips, however, and the Doctor can produce anything from a plethora of his newest battle-based creations to make things more... interesting. Kaminko regularly invites trainers down to his facility to help him test his new experiments, assuring them that of course their Pokémon will be perfectly safe and that of course there will be ample compensation for their time. Most of the Orrean trainers know better than to take his claims at face value, but there's no reason for a few gullible eager outsiders not to trust him, right? Besides! Shiny new toys! Who could possibly resist!

The arena that Kaminko has chosen for today's battle, number forty-four out of sixty-three, is fairly simple as his bizarre challenges go. The battlefield itself does not change much when he activates it, forgoing #3's Poké-Poles™ falling from the ceiling and #61's small herd of Tauros sporting his Pokémon Mood-Altering Keclenses™ (currently stuck on angry red) for wide, open space. The battlers are going to need plenty of room and minimal distractions, after all--with all the energy they'll have to burn, they'd probably tear something down if they were in a smaller space. For today, all Pokémon involved will be wearing Kaminko's new Ever-Energy Adrenapacks™.

The Adrenapacks provide each Pokémon with literally unlimited energy, allowing them to attack with abandon and without fear of exhausting themselves. The experiment is intended to see what Pokémon are capable of doing when allowed to battle on and on without interruption, but perhaps the Adrenapacks give the Pokémon a little too much juice. They are prone to releasing extra surges of energy that can actually harm the Pokémon wearing them, causing 3% typeless damage to each Pokémon at the end of each round and escalating to 5%/round if their health is below 33%. Additionally, the constant influx of energy makes the battlers incredibly nervous and restless, preventing them from focusing on moves that rely on calming down or relaxing (i.e. calm mind, amnesia), being lulled into complacency (i.e. attract, flatter, charm) or falling asleep.

Munchy grins at her trainers' words - stupid-huge movepool indeed! - and basks in the sunlight she's created. Fake sunlight, sure, but it does the trick. The UV rays soak into her skin quickly, so quickly that it's only a few seconds before she's gathered enough to collect it into a ball of light in front of her. She eyes the nasty fish that hurt her before; no, she certainly had not forgotten the pain, oh no she hasn't, nasty stupid little fish... The light grows and grows until it explodes in a beam onto the poor relicanth, bathing it in pure light, but it's so painful; why is light so painful? Rock Lobsta wriggles and squeals in pain, much like her gyarados teammate had done before her. It takes way to long for the attack to fade, and it leaves a reminder of its presence: a black burn coats Lobsta's side where the beam had hit, making it painful, if only slightly, to move. Munchy grins. Revenge is sweet.

And it's not over yet. Yakuza flaps his wings, gathering thermals of heat that rise from the drying stadium floor, and heating them even further; the heat ripples under his black feathers and with a smirk and a flap of his wings, the heat ripples to life in a burning sheet of fire. Lobsta moans as the fire coats him but it's nothing compared to the pure fear in the Grouch's eyes; the metallic pokemon quickly grabs her berry and chews on it before the fire engulfs her. For reasons unknown, the Occa berry protects her somewhat from the heat, but not enough: the Grouch shivers in pain as her metallic armour shrivels and melts, her grassy parts doing much the same. The fire spreads to the arena walls, burning out when it finds nothing else to feed on, much to the wormadam's relief.

She sighs in pain. Considering her choices, her next attack is definitely preferable. She turns her head to the ceiling and shimmies about on the floor as much as she can - she can't really dance, but she tries at least. Slowly the ceiling lights flicker out one by one, slow enough for her eyes to adjust to the relative darkness, and a drop of rain falls down to the floor somewhere with a tap. Another one follows - and another - and the ceiling opens up with a literal roar of water pouring down upon the battlers. Lobsta sighs with relief, as does the Grouch, to her own surprise; her heated 'skin' feels very relieved under the water, despite her former displeasure.

Lobsta, though, appreciates it most. She waits a few moments for the water to collect on the floor - it takes longer, now that the cracks from the earthquakes collect some of it, but the rain from before is already in there so it's not too long a wait. Once she's wet enough, she slinks along and finds Yakuza, who's found himself grounded once again, and pissed about it. The bird eyes the fish with disdain, knowing full well what's coming; as Rock Lobsta pushes herself off the ground and pummels into Yakuza head-first, straight into the bird's chest, Yakuza screeches in sheer agony. It feels like his bones are breaking, like his chest is collapsing, like he can't breath. He sags and gasps for air; Lobsta swishes away, quite proud of his handiwork.

Munchy eyes her teammate with worry. She's sure Yakuza will be fine, pokemon always are, they're healed and back to battle, but still. It's unsettling. She turns to the damned fish with renewed fury, sparks surrounding her skin and flying wild in the pouring rainwater. She screams - the sparks grow bright white and huge, snaking towards Rock Lobsta and landing on her with a crash. The relicanth screams and thrashes under the impact, her burns growing even worse; as the attack fades, she turns warily to Munchy, eyes barely managing to focus.

She doesn't even see the next one coming.

Another flash of lightning rushes at her, wrapping her in its light and coursing through her like white fire. Just like the gyarados before her, she barely moves this time, and as the electricity fades, so does she. She blinks once, twice, and as her eyes close, she doesn't open them.

Yakuza smirks. He's gotten his breath back; a few wild sparks dance around his wings, left over from the thunder attack. Oh yes, revenge is definitely sweet.

The Grouch eyes her opponents, then her fallen teammate. Well. She's alone now. She takes a deep breath; it catches in her throat, like there's something there. She clears her throat loudly; something nasty comes up, a viscous liquid, gross. She swishes it around in her cheeks, pondering, and then spits it out towards Munchy; the purple toxins soar through the downpour of rain, much of it watered down, until it crashes into the kangaskhan's brown fur and seeps in. Munchy turns in shock towards the wormadam, rubbing at the toxic with a grossed expression, but it's already soaked through her skin into her blood. It'll take a bit longer till she feels it, but she definitely knows it's gross.

Perhaps out of revenge, Munchy rolls her eyes and turns to face the ceiling again - it's become as much a participant of this battle as anyone. A few moment of staring and quiet mumbling, and the rain slows down to a drizzle; Munchy waits patiently, and the rain stops entirely. As if in reverse of the previous actions, the lights begin to flicker on one by one, until the entire ceiling is bright white, and Munchy turns to look at the Grouch with undisguised vehemence.

Yakuza flaps the water off his wings as much as he can; he's really growing tired of the continued change in weather, or fake-weather as it is. He sighs and takes to the air, still dragged down by the extra weight of water but managing nontheless. With a few flaps he gathers the heat under his body, focusing it as before into ripples, and another lazy wave of a wing sends it spreading out towards the Grouch - only one direction this time. The heat sparks to life, the air spontaneously burning into a wild fire, which rushes towards the wormadam - the Grouch shivers and closes her eyes in complete fear, hoping beyond hope the Occa berry she ate before will protect her.

The fire hits her, burning across her delicate skin, and despite the berry's influence the burning seems to be even worse than before. In fact she can't even maintain her balance - she falls over, whimpering in pain, her metal armour melting slowly under the fire's heat. She continues her whimpers even when the fire goes out; nothing can stop her pain.

Slowly, very slowly, she pushes herself back up. She looks warily at Yakuza, somehow afraid that just looking at the bird will set her on fire, but nothing happens. So with trepidation she tries to catch some light in her melted armour; she focuses the light into focused energy and unleashes it in a formed ball onto the flying bird. It crashes into Yakuza and explodes on impact, releasing its light as if it were liquid all over his feathers and dripping down, but most importantly Yakuza screams in complete agony as the ball hits. He crashes weakly to the floor - the attack hit him in the chest, where Lobsta had hit him before. Slowly he pushes himself back up with his wings, turning over so he can sit, and breathes heavily; he's not having a very good day at all.

...oh dear. Well that didn't go to plan. (when does it ever?) Curse you and your stupidly adaptable type preference! D:

Okay then, last up.. I think will be Doppelgänger, the Sableye.

(Also, I assume in the notes you meant Yakuza's second Heat Wave was critical, and Grouch's Flash Cannon that hit him was critical, correct?... At least I got karma crit'd, but then I got /another/ mang what it this, the RNG shrine must be under some awkward planetary alignment.

Also - no need to fix of course, but you referred to Lobsta in male terms that round.. Though I guess it doesn't matter all that much, now, my poor feesh. :C )

Oh, come now, you're facing a normal-type and Absol With Wings(tm). What do you expect!

sooo Kratos is tired but has to attack anyway because he won't have time later. Let's see.

Munchy, one good flamethrower should be enough to finish the Grouch off. If she protects or can't be reached, drain punch Doppelgänger for some yay scrappy, and if Doppelgänger can't be hit either then attempt a safeguard so we don't have to deal with any more status for a while. (You should still attack if they have substitutes, though you're faster than everyone else and should hit before they can set one up anyway.) Then hit Doppelgänger with facade. If she protects/can't be hit save for substitute, then safeguard if you didn't last action and focus energy if you did. Last action, a focus blast at the sableye is probably in order, but if Grouch is conscious then try that flamethrower again. If whichever target you're supposed to be hitting is untouchable, just fire a hidden power off at nothing and see what comes up. Rgh you need more self-targeting moves. >|

Yakuza, start by taunting Doppelgänger. If she protects/can't be hit by taunt, go ahead and use nasty plot one more time. If, however, Grouch uses protect and Doppelgänger is told to use rain dance, wait until after the rain dance and change it back immediately with sunny day. Then, if the Grouch still hasn't fainted, heat wave; if she has, dark pulse Doppelgänger. If both targets are untouchable, charge up a sky attack. Lastly, dark pulse Doppelgänger if you didn't start sky attack last action, and fire it off at Doppelgänger if you did.

(you'll probably faint before the end of the round but try and get stuff done anyway!)

Oh dear.. well, we're going to have to get creative here.

Okay.. First thing.. we don't want to be taunted, OR scrappyowned.. Doppel, use a Shadow Sneak to get the jump on Munchy, but no worries on the damage of course.. combine it with a Skill Swap, and take that little utility away. After that, if you can, stay on her back / phase into her, and perhaps try to 'direct' her into some of Yakuza's firepower. If you can, fire off a Confuse Ray right into her head, that should help stumble her. If you can't, or you're in immediate danger or have fallen for that nasty bird's catcalls, give him a good Power Gem to the Head Smash wound.
If for some reason you can't pull the Skill Swap combo, or rather it requires that concentration thing, then.. just latch onto Munchy and try to get out of her line of fire, she be painful. Fire up a confuse ray next thing, and finish with a Power Gem to the bird. If you're taunted on turn two in this situation... spam Power Gem. And if you can't pull off a latch...... spam power gem argh. :V

As for Grouch... there isn't much we can do, but if Doppeler manages to latch onto Munchy and steal her delishush powahs, throw up a protect and try to stay in the game a liiiiittle longer while she flails at her. If not... there isn't much we can do. Sorry M'Dear, just spam Flash Cannon at Yakky till he dies, if you haven't gone yourself. If he's gone.. well, obviously, hit Munchy. I really wish I had remembered I need to take you to the home of the belligerent elderly to access metal burst, could have sworn you had that standard..

Reaper cloth is sold in the PRO because it's an evolution item. It gives the pokémon that holds it intimidate as a second ability. Dunno about the linkage, though.

Immediately upon release, Doppelganger covers her eyes from the harsh lights; she really doesn't appreciate being sent out into these sorts of environments. Dark, dank caves are more her style. But orders are orders and she isn't about to complain, not when this battle has clearly had its victims already. She takes a quick glance around the arena, attempting to spot her target, and fades into the shadows.

Luckily, bright light means there are plenty of shadows to disappear into. She quickly sneaks away, blanketing herself in darkness before she can be noticed, and creeps up behind the giant kangaskhan, using the Baroness's own shadow as ammunition. Doppelganger pulls the shadows up and into her as she springs out, taking form and pouncing onto Munchy's backside, using her still-shadowy figure to seep her claw into the kangaskhan's rough skin. Munchy screams in shock at the attack and swirls around, lashing to try and get the sableye out of her skin, but Doppelganger is latched on and can't be budged.

As the rest of Doppelganger's skin re-materializes and hardens, her stony eyes flash in the ceiling light and sparks a bright beam onto Munchy's hindquarters. The kanghaskhan's thrashing intensifies under the attack; although the shadow sneak hadn't hurt, this definitely did. Not like the head smashes before but the mere fact that a hand was inside her was freaking her the hell out.

She swung a fist around and into the small sableye's skull; somehow the sableye's ghostly physique didn't protect it from the attack and a solid crack! was heard upon contact. The same hand that was freaking Munchy out made Doppelganger the perfect target, and Munchy held her fist in place as the sableye's energy was sucked through her arm and back into the kangaskhan.

Still, the attack had been notably weaker than intended. Doppelganger had a creeping effect on Munchy - and though he wouldn't admit it, Yakuza was somewhat creeped out too. Both teammates would prefer to stay away from the sableye, not that Munchy had much of a choice.

Yakuza cleared his throat, feeling nothing but pity for his teammate. Still, he was in a worse condition and no time could be wasted on pity. Fury was a much better emotion. She scoffed at the sableye and its childish avoidance tactics, which had in fact made it a perfect target - such a weakling couldn't face Munchy head-on, so it chose her back! Doppelganger fumed at these accusations, quite positive she had done no such thing but unable to even think straight enough to respond. Yakuza's jeers echoed through her head, on and on until they were all she could hear - all she could think, that she was a weakling and a failure. Well. No more.

The Grouch, it seemed, was content to stay shielded by a protect, despite the fact that no one appeared remote interested in her. Still she felt safer, calmer, after this action of rest. Though she had boundless energy, one action where no one was actively trying to kill her was nice. She knew it wouldn't last long.

Munchy calmed herself, intent on ignoring her current problems in order to protect herself from future ones. She closed her eyes for a moment - easier to forget that way - and when she'd opened them, a near-invisible shield had appeared before her. In fact it was visible only when the harsh lighting reflected off it, causing it to shimmer and sparkle, which happened quite often and caused Munchy to appear somewhat angelic.

Yakuza tilted his head at this odd appearance but soon decided it wasn't important. Instead he gathered the heat around him, as he'd done before, and with a flicker of his wing the air flashed into life - a wave of burning fire spread out. Doppelganger wriggled around, trying to pull Munchy into the brunt of the attack, but the kangaskhan was much bigger and heavier than the sableye and, though she couldn't avoid it entirely, definitely was not easily manipulated. The heat wave flashed over Doppelganger, smoking over Munchy in the crossfire, but she barely felt it - her mind was focused more on the hand stuck inside of her.

The Grouch, unfortunately, had no protection at all. She stared in accepted doom as the fire came over her; it was agonizingly long before she succumbed to it, before the last of her health was sapped and she could close her eyes and forget the pain. When she did, the fire had finally went out, leaving her a messy heap of melted metal and singed plant.

Yakuza couldn't help but feel a hint of pity for the Grouch, too, but only a bit. She'd been a pain in the ass-feathers.

Now target-less, Munchy gritted her teeth and drew from the hidden stores of strength within her. What came was as much a surprise to her as anyone else; bright tan orbs circled her equally tan skin and flew at the already scorched wall, leaving added scorch marks. The attack left her feeling quite disappointed, mostly in the fact that it wasn't targeted at the pain in her backside.

Luckily, her teammate was there to take care of that. Yakuza flapped his wings and cawed, drawing Doppelganger's attention; as the sableye had done before, the honchkrow now drew forth the shadows from the room, and they came forth with ease. The orb of darkness forming before him grew quickly, and Yakuza flashed Doppelganger a cocky grin before pecking at the orb.

The dark pulse exploded, unleashing itself in a wave similar to the heat waves Yakuza was so fond of. Again Doppelganger tried to manipulate Munchy into the crossfires, but again it was unavoidable; the darkness came over him and, by association, Munchy. But as predicted the sableye drew the brunt of the attack; he momentarily lost his grip on the kangaskhan and was left hanging by his lone claw, the one that was phased into her. He scrambled back up, grabbing hold of her craggly skin as she attempted to thrash him off of her.

Quickly, the sableye righted herself; she had more damage to do. Now that the room was light again - dark pulse be damned - she caught a flash of light in her eyes and turned her head, spotting Yakuza. The bird would pay, oh yes. Another flash and a bright beam rippled through the air, striking Yakuza on the stomach and just missing the sore spot on his chest; the honchkrow flapped wildly to stay airborne but the accumulated damage was too much and he fell to the ground with a thud. He pushed himself up on his wings, glaring at Doppelganger with extreme wariness; there was barely any energy left in him but the will to fight lived on.

hmm, I think you may have mixed targets up again.. :c At least on the last move, since I understand the power gem comboing to Munchy considering how I pulled it off - but the Power Gems were directed at Yakuza, unless he was out of reach or something.. again.

OKAY. Edited. The first move (the combo) couldn't be changed because yeah, but the last power gem was edited. Sorrryyy. And sorry for the wait eurk.

-oopsie, missed that this was updated sorry. ><

Alright.. We need to at least take that bird down Dopps, juicy, juicy XP. First thing first, if you can combo Shadow Sneak and Signal beam, do it. Stay on Munchy's back, perhaps distract the two with shadows to give you that priority edge - then, follow up with a Signal Beam over Munchy's shoulder at the bird, if we're lucky we can throw her off with the sudden point blank lightshow.
If you can't combo, however, just wait your go, and Signal Beam him down. And if he protects.. Let's give Munchy an even bigger headache, and pound on her head with Brick Break.

Next turn, if you hadn't comboed and the bird is gone, pound on Munchy with Brick Break even more. If you /didn't/ gib Yakuza, Signal Beam same up here. Also, if something silly like Torment has happened and you've on try two of something, smack Munchy with a Rock Smash.

Finally.. Well, smack Munchy upside the head. My commands do not have the room the be creative I suppose. l: Unless the bird is, somehow, still alive, in which case... signal beam 'im. Yeah.

Looks like it's coytans for you, Yakuza, but combo or no combo you should still be able to preempt her with a sucker punch. Try not to do too much to Munchy if you can't hit Doppelgänger alone. Then you die, but just in case some strange wizardry has you up and about on any subsequent actions then keep sucker punchin' away.

Hmm, Munchy. I actually *don't* want you to knock Dopps out this round, seeing as getting another pokémon sent out will maximize the experience gain and bring me that much closer to aggrontiem... not that that will be a problem, because she's still pretty much stuck to you as far as I can tell! We can mostly work with this, though--a few backward body slams should do the trick. Just throw yourself onto your back and smash that sableye good. Keep them up even if you manage to dislodge her, but if you manage to paralyze her then switch to some rock smashes of your own. I doubt that'll be enough for a KO, but if Doppelgänger looks like she'll go down after just one more hit then just roar. Because you can.

Despite his weakened state, Yakuza senses danger (spidey senses!) and scrambled to his talons, kicking off the tiled floor with surprising speed and with a blur of darkness he slammed into his teammate's back - or he would, if Doppelganger hadn't taken the blow. Yakuza grunted from the force, as did Doppelganger, and the honchkrow tumbled to the floor nearly lifeless; he definitely did not bother getting up, though he did eye Doppelganger warily. The sableye took a moment to catch her breath, leering back at the damned honchkrow.

Of course he'd have to get the last word in, goddamn bird.

And it wasn't over yet. The behemoth she clung to swayed, causing Doppelganger to cling for dear life, and then the ground beneath her literally gave out - though of course it wasn't actual ground, it was skin, and it was simply the kangaskhan jumping in the air. Doppelganger screeched in fear as the ground she had been standing on turned into the sky and then the sky fell on her and then oh my god she was squished beneath the sky and the ground what the flying hell that hurt that hurt -

- ow.

She moaned in agony, sheer agony, as Munchy rolled over and climbed back to her feet. Doppelganger took a moment to regain her senses; her claw was still phased into the kangaskhan, but the rest of her felt flattened. Probably just in her head, but uhg, her head. It hurt.

Doppelganger swore under her breath, knowing a combo like her trainer had suggested would be impossible (otherwise she'd have done it by now). She glanced and found Yakuza had clawed himself up to his feet. She sighed and began to collect the light's energy in her diamond eyes - not too much, that bird was on death's door - and reflected it in a bright beam towards the ground below her, where Yakuza lay. The beam struck true and it took only a moment for Yakuza to sigh his last breath for the battle, and he was quickly returned to his pokeball in a flash of light.

Finally, one down.

It seemed pretty clear to Munchy that the ghost on her back had not been paralyzed, although it was obviously pretty hurt, so she shrugged and jump backwards again. Doppelganger squealed in fear as the giant beast lumbered backwards in the air and tumbled onto the ground on top of her; even as she was flattened, though, no paralysis set in. Munchy crawled back up, but it would take her a while to realize that, of course.

Doppelganger was not feeling very well. She groaned and clung for dear life to the same thing that was smashing her repeatedly. Still, she lifted one of her clawed fists, drawing all the energy she could towards it, and slammed it down with all her force onto the damned kangaskhan's back. It took a second before Munchy could react, and all she did was groan - all that Doppelganger could see, at least. But her expression bore utter pain; the battle was slowly getting to her, piece by piece. She balanced herself and gritted her teeth, determined to get that ghost off of her.

Still sure Doppelganger hadn't been paralyzed, Munchy leaned forwards and then tossed herself backwards. Doppelganger was quite ready to jump ship by now, when the massive thing landed on her, and then she felt it - her muscles cramped. The weight on her small body had done it, had caught a nerve or some such shit, and she couldn't move. She hung limply from the kangashkan as Munchy climbed back to her feet - and Munchy grinned warily. She'd done it. The sableye was paralyzed.

...no, aside from not noting Dopps's paralysis it's fine. :B also thank yooou

Let's send out Ranik (pinsir) just so I can finally say I've used the damn thing.

Mkay. Ranik, spam faint attack; if you get tormented, switch the second faint attack for x-scissor, or for natural gift if Munchy successfully used foresight.

Munchy, use foresight just in case and then spam dynamicpunch because why not. If you can't use foresight then just dynamicpunch that time, too.

Yes, I have a complaint, these normal types' movepools are too good and bawww >C

Nahh but I'm pretty sure this has gone just a little too far south to salvage, so let's just go for broke, eat some leprechaun sandwiches, and see if we can ilk one last XP off that big brute who's been pounding us around, Brick Break her to start, then smack her with a sucker punch and hope for the finisher. :B and I dunno if by some impossibility your survive Shadow Claw Ranik, just to say you did.

Pre-emptive good match, Kratos. :3 I'm already preparing for the rematch, I'll have you know, I've already doubled my fully-evolved pool as is, but as bad as that was on my end perhaps, it was fun to pull out the heavy hitters for a change.

With the release of Ranik, the battle sees renewed energy - or at least it does for the pinsir, who stares at the tarnished arena with barely concealed fear. If they managed to do this to a solid building, what would they do to him?

It didn't matter though, not yet anyhow, because it was Munchy's turn at the moment. Although she had difficulty spotting Doppelganger behind her giant bulk (and she had not yet developed the skills to turn her head around 360 degrees, though she was working on it), she simply closed her eyes and focused on the knowledge that was so ingrained within her that she didn't even have to work on it. When she opened them, everything appeared stained in red, as if the ceiling was raining blood rather than crystal-clear water; in fact she was simply able to see things a bit more clearly now.

For some reason, this affected Doppelganger herself, and she felt her arm slipping out of the kangaskhan's thick hide. It was a pretty sickening feeling - more gross than having a hand inside you ew - and it popped out suddenly, leaving Doppelganger to scramble for a hold on Munchy's back. Of course Munchy did not help by squirming and tossing around, and what with Doppelganger being in a pretty weakened state, it didn't take long before she fell to the arena floor with a splat. Munchy grinned and turned on her foe menacingly.

But it wasn't her that Doppelganger had to fear - it was Ranik. The pinsir hesitated for a moment before cloaking himself in darkness and disappearing suddenly, only to reappear right on top of the downed sableye, jamming his pincers into her stomach with the aide of his gathered dark energy. He jumped off quickly, but he seemed to have struck a weak spot, leaving Doppelganger gasping for air. Ranik grinned at Munchy with sudden confidencee - this wasn't that hard.

Doppelganger turned over slowly and got up, barely managing to stay upright. She took a step towards Munchy, slowly, brought her fist up, and slammed it into the kangaskhan's leg. Munchy winced and bowed down from the shock and pain; the attack hadn't been as strong as last time, not that Munchy could tell, but Doppelganger couldn't quite manage to put as much force into it as she'd like. Still, Munchy was weezing from pain.

But she was still up. Breathing hard, but still up. But not for long.

Doppelganger disappeared in a flash of smoke and slammed into Munchy's face fist-first, kicking off and landing steadily on the cracked arena floor. Munchy leaned back, attempting to gain her balance, but she couldn't; it was too much to take and she tumbled backwards, falling with a reverberating thud. She was quickly recalled with a flash of red, and Doppelganger sighed with relief.

Ranik frowned, but there was nothing he could do. It was clear Doppelganger was near her end, anyhow. He gathered the darkness he'd used before and flickered towards her, slamming her down with his pincers and jumping back to see if she'd get up.

He waited, and... nope. Like Munchy, she was recalled to her ball, leaving Ranik the sole victor of the battle.

Final Notes:
- OKAY so (the first) Faint Attack was a critical hit; Munchy's brick break was slightly weakened due to her diminished strength.
- ... Kratos gets $32; DJ gets $12; I get $20.
- And exp. Erhg. Siovhan killed Murderbeast (lul), adrenapack killed Siovhan; Yakuza killed Lobsta and the Grouch; Doppelganger killed Yakuza and Munchy, and Munchy killed Doppelganger. Which roughly means:
Siovhan gets 2 exp
Yakuza gets 3 exp
Doppelganger gets 3 exp
Munchy gets 2 exp
Everyone else gets 1 exp.

Idk if I dictate how much goes to exp-share and stuff, and tell me if I got stuff wrong, yup.

...Juuuust one last complaint sorry - but what happened to Sucker Punch, it should have priority. Doppel wasn't paralysed, right? At least, you didn't seem to indicate that. [Sorry to make a deal but that's an extra XP point and yeah.. :c ]

((And if it matters all my EXP is getting funnelled to Roomba who had my EXP Share from the start of this match.))

Haha, yes, good game, Dwagie. It was a lot of fun. I think my next few battles will be for using the little things directly, but I look forward to that rematch! And thankyouthankyou, Pathos. :D
