Brave New World

Name: Yuna
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Species: Skarmory

Appearance: Yuna isn't that different from a regular Skarmoy in color or structure. She is larger than the average bird at 7 ft and is equipped with fangs that don't all fit in her mouth forcing her to keep her beak slightly parted most of the time. She also has a slash in her armor across the length of her beak from battle.

Side: Pokemon
Personality: PO

Yuna never was fond of anything or anyone but herself. She likes feeling "on top" but will easily follow the ranks of those superior to her. She enjoys interrogating others, hunting, shiny objects and recognition from her higher ups.

History: Yuna always enjoyed preying on inferior Pokemon to eat and causing problems for the humans. She was known as a menacing creature that nested in weaker Pokemons homes to provoke her next meal into fighting her to reclaim its home. Too frequently was she hunted by poachers and trainers to contain her for her to appreciate the relationship between Pokemon and human.

Violence and war was nothing she particularly wanted circulating through out the world but the intimidating leader, a Dragonite, provoked the aggression in her to side with the rebels. Yuna is faithful to Jiongu, doing her best when directed though she is not emotionally attached to anyone.

Also, if you're not accepting anymore, Exo, you can just ignore this.

Name: Narcissa
Age: 37
Gender: Female
Species: Mismagius
Side: Human

Appearance: Other than a few alterations, Narcissa doesn't differ from any other Mismagius: her dark purple body gives off the impression of a cloak, and light magenta accents rest on the ragged ends of her body. She has piercing red eyes with yellow scleras, a large, rather elaborate hat adding to her witch-like appearance, and a red, thin, mischievous W-shaped mouth. However, the three red jewels at the base of her crooked neck making her "necklace" are darker in color, giving them a dark crimson shade. Also, the two extensions on her lower body are longer by about four inches.

Personality: Narcissa is a curious one, indeed: her undying hunger for knowledge and intellect is strong and hard to quench by any means, and she's always questioning even the simplistic of things. She has an odd fondness of humans and finds them very interesting and unique, despite her troubling past with them, and has good intentions at heart. She is not easily angered but will stand up for what she believes is right, and is strangely immune to hatred of any sort. Narcissa also has a verbal tick of humming or chanting incantations subconsciously.

History: Narcissa was born on the outskirts of Eterna City to a Duskclops, who was her father, and another Mismagius, who was her mother. Soon after her birth, the small family discovered a basement in a vacant hotel within the city, and decided to call it home. Her parents would tell her constantly not to let human eyes spot her, and Narcissa did well in hiding herself from the homo sapiens. She grew up questioning everything, from how the universe worked and kept time and space in balance to why the grass she glided over was a lush green. During the day, she would reside in her home, sometimes dozing off, sometimes losing herself in her own thoughts. However, at night, she would secretly float out of her house while her parents were away hunting for food and wander into the houses of humans. She would watch them sleep for hours, many thoughts and phantasies dancing around in her head, and on more than one occasion did she chant an incantation to see what results would come of it on the soundlessly sleeping humans.

However, on a brisk, autumn afternoon, Narcissa's curiosity got the best of her as she floated up to the lobby of the hotel, where a man at the front desk spotted her in a heartbeat as she was floating through the walls. The man followed her into the basement, where her parents and home were, and her world came crashing down. He sent out two Pokémon to solve the problem: his Staraptor and his Luxio. With relative ease, they weakened her parents and Narcissa took the chance to stay obscure in the walls and inspect the human as he battled more closely, hardly even in tune with the world around her. She had never interacted with an active human before, and the fact that her parents were losing didn't even cross her mind, as she was too oblivious to notice. The man, however, actually attempted to catch one of them just for the sake of not wasting his time, and successfully captured her mother. In a rage, her father fled the scene, his heart turning ice cold as a bitter loathing for humans burned inside of him, and Narcissa fled from the hotel and took refuge in Eterna Forest. The same day, she wandered upon the Old Chateau, and has been there ever since that day, which was no less than twenty-five years beforehand.

While residing in the Old Chateau with many other Ghost Pokémon, she unintentionally found a Dusk Stone, and upon impact with it, evolved from a Misdreavus into a Mismagius.

Around the time the rebellion rolled along, Narcissa decided to side with the humans for her own personal reasons. If she helped the humans out, chances were she would cross paths with one, and to meet a human in person and befriend one would be marvelous! It was flawless, in her mind, so she has been waiting in the Old Chateau for one to stumble inside for two months solid. The reason she refuses to go and seek them out herself, however, is because she is slightly afraid that a Pokémon on the other side of the rebellion might find her interests "twisted and unreasonable," and see to her death.

Name: Arilan

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Species: Umbreon

Appearance: Arilan is a peculiar Umbreon. Instead of his fur being the classic night sky black with yellow markings, his fur is a dull, late-twilight grey, and his markings a bright blue. He is also slightly larger than most Umbreon, and his mouth has an inimidating set of much sharper teeth lining it. He also boasts some scars along his body, clear remnants of some scuffle, including a scar over his left eye. His amber eyes, instead of being bright red, scan with a sinister look, somewhere between inqusitive and furious.

Side: Pokemon

Personality: A loner most of his life, Arilan doesn't take kindly to close company or physical contact. He can be snappy and rude, but sometimes he's frighteningly friendly and questioning. When something is happening, he gets giddy and interested, especially if it's a fight, argument, or show of position. He a bit sadistic, but he won't hurt someone himself unless threatened, instead prefer to watch harm happen, and will sometimes instigate a fight between others.

History: Arilan was born, the last of three siblings, to an Umbreon, his mother, and an Absol, his father. The three Eevees grew up in the dark part of a forest, far from most society but also from many Pokemon. Arilan was curious to see what else there was, though, one day, a few years into his life, he snuck off at night while his parents were out hunting. He ended up lost in the forest, though, until he heard a sound. He followed it, only to see poachers collecting the corpses of his parents. In fear, he ran back through the forest, finding his siblings, and together, they ran from the forest. Arilan's hatred for humans boiled up then, and when the three stopped, he screamed in rage and sadness, and evolved on the spot into an Umbreon. His siblings were both somewhat envious and somewhat awed, but he simply shut them up and got them moving again. Even though he was the youngest, he would get them going.

Years passed, and his siblings left him alone to wander, one had evolved into an Espeon, while the other had found a water stone while playing and became Vaporeon. Arilan ran into the mysterious figure while he was recruiting some Pokemon, and intrigued, hung around to listen. He felt a powerful bond to these rebellious Pokemon. They wanted humans to fall. This was his chance for revenge! He followed as these forces grew, trying to keep his distance just in case, and in the end, joined the assault on Hearthome.

Now, he resides just outside the city in a cave, preferring not to get comfy with the Pokemon there, but he goes into the city sometimes to assist with things and help prepare for when they finally take over, and the humans are wiped out.

Name: Atticus

Age: 64

Gender: Male

Species: Gallade

Appearance: Atticus is sparsely covered in various scars around the region of his upper body. There is a particularly noticeable one over his right eye. Atticus also has a small circular shield with a Lunatone design on it, strapped halfway up his left arm, light enough so that it doesn’t impede the movement of his blades, but light enough that he’s been able to grow used to hold it. It’s large enough to deflect a blow, but only about the size of his head, no bigger. The blade on his head is chipped slightly, and rough around the edges, looking like it has been weathered. Same with the horns on his chest.

Side: Pokemon

Personality: Atticus has a very strong perspective on justice and revenge. Atticus also has a few bits of sage-like wisdom, and the attitude of a war veteran. He’s seen a lot in his sixty-something years, and didn’t like much of it. He wants nothing more than to reunite with his family, or, barring that, kill the person responsible for their capture.

History: Atticus was born in Hoenn. There he lived a happy first few years with his family. He has very fond memories of living amidst the fields and forests of the tropical land. He was at peace with humans, too; rather, he didn’t mind them. That was all until one faithful day. A storm rolled across the fields while he was playing. His mother, a Gardevoir, and his father, a Gengar, ran to bring him to shelter. As they ran, a trainer, who’d been hunting for rare Pokemon, strayed into their path. Two vicious beast were released, a Tyranitar and a Salamence. His parents were brutally attacked, and then captured. Atticus ran to save them, to do whatever he could. But the Tyranitar knocked him out with a single blow.

When he woke up, he searched every nearby town for signs of his parents, but to no avail. From that day he swore to whatever it took to find his family, no matter where they were. As he grew, he battled wild Pokémon and trained himself. Able to evolve into a kirlia, Atticus set out and searched all of Hoenn for his parents’ trail. Using the power he had to link with others empathically, he searched for the exact trainer who had taken his mom and dad. One day, he finally encountered the trainer in Slateport city. He yelled at him to release his family. The trainer, being a normal human, had no idea what the kirlia was saying. He decided to battle it. The trainer sent out a Muk, which Atticus was easily able to defeat. As the trainer reached for his second pokemon, Atticus flung the trainer’s pokeballs off of his belt and attacked the trainer. The boy was flung into the sea via Psychic, where Atticus likes to believe he drowned.

Unfortunately, Atticus doesn’t know for sure. He was captured by local police forces and sent to a faraway land called Sinnoh. There, he was dumped forcefully onto a forest floor and left alone. He wandered for days around the forest, finally stumbling upon a decrepit old house. He teleported inside and searched for a place to rest. He finally found a small bedroom. There was a purple paining on the room’s wall, bearing a picture of a Gengar. Remembering his father, Atticus slumped down onto the bed and half cried, half slept. In the morning, he decided to search the house for food and then set out to go somewhere where he wouldn’t be disturbed. Cleaning out a pantry and finding a few morsels, Atticus stumbled upon a small velvet box sealed with a ribbon. Inside was an aquamarine-like gem, glowing radiantly like the first light of dawn. On instinct, he touched the surface of the stone. Atticus was blinded by a flash of light. When it faded, he stood as a Gallade. A smile stretched across his face. He bounded out of the house and began to train, anxious for the day that he could exact revenge on the humans that ruined his life.

As time went on and more and more trainers moved through the forest, Atticus was forced to find another place to live. After taking a small shield from the old house in the forest, Atticus set off for Mt. Coronet. He knew that if he began to attack the humans, he would be captured and sent away for sure. Atticus needed to find a place to hide until the time was right. The trek up was dangerous, to say the least. Nearly being knocked out by several strong wild Pokemon, Atticus continued until he found a safe cave on Mt. Coronet’s summit where he could hide. Still able to teleport to anywhere he’d seen, Atticus made frequent trips around human towns to see the status of the world and to find food.
When Atticus heard of the rebellion, he immediately teleported down the mountain to see its status. He was nearly captured by a mob of humans who were trying to defend Eterna City. Barely able to escape, he stayed up on the mountainside for a while. Local Pokemon in the area decided to help out, while others stayed, content with their lives. Atticus finally decided to make a trek down the mountain to a place called Celestic town, an apparently safe place for him to enter Sinnoh.

I should get on this train...

Name: Mjolnir (Myol-ner)

Age: 413

Gender: N/A

Species: Bronzong

Appearance: Mjolner has lived much longer than most creatures, and its body has begun to show it. The normal blue-ish hue of its body has been replaced with a coat of rust, making it appear brown, or even red to the eye. There is a large crack in its left side, from a confrontation a long time ago. When Mjolner moves, there is often a cloud of rust dust that follows its movements. Mjolnir is blind in one eye, visible by the lack of red glow coming from it.

Side: undecided (this is Mjolnir's actual side)

Personality: Mjolnir is literally a sage- it knows most everything, and what it doesn't know for certain Mjolnir has a very good idea of what it is. Mjolnir rarely voices an opinion on something, and those who know of it often say Mjolnir is incapable of opinion. Its lack of opinion is largely why Mjolnir has not taken a side. That, and no one has tried to sway it. Mjolnir is very serious and does not take lightly to jokes, often times even the ones it makes, as rare as they are.

History: uhhh... later.

I'm sorry for posting ANOTHER character app, but I might as well have all four if I can. So, yeah.

Name: Blazer

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Species: Flareon

Appearance: Blazer is a fairly normal Flareon. Short red fur with large yellow tufts that ripple like flame on his head, around his neck, and for his tail make up his basic appearance. He's clean and well groomed with a grin always on his muzzle, like he's been treated fairly well. He's slightly larger than the average Flareon, not just in height and build but in girth, showing that he was probably treated too well by a trainer or other Pokemon-raising person.

Side: Humans

Personality: Blazer is a friendly, albeit a bit too friendly, closing in on nosey, Flareon. He's likes and often looks for someplace to be in the presence of humans. He's kind to other Pokemon and often watches over lost or un-owned Pokemon. He hides a very depressed and withdrawn demeanor that he often ends up in when shooed or when he's alone.

History: Blazer was born, the first of three siblings, to an Umbreon, his mother, and an Absol, his father, as Farian. The three Eevees grew up in the dark part of a forest, far from most society but also from many Pokemon. Blazer was lazy, seeing as he was the oldest, he didn't have to do anything for the other two. He didn't even bother when his younger brother, the youngest of the three, ran off to explore the forest. He did, however, care when the young Eevee came running back and urging them off into the forest in the opposite direction. He watched behind the three, making sure the humans that supposedly took their parents weren't following. When they stopped, he was awed at how much pain his younger brother felt... and the fact that he evolved. He had cared so little, and his viewpoint changed then. His now evolved Umbreon sibling took care of the three of them seeing as he was the most powerful, and it made Blazer feel like he'd done so little. He fell into a state of mental collapse, and after some time, was the first to leave, unable to stay with his siblings as his brother showed so much hate, his sister was unable to do anything, and he felt the same way, and that he should have done something first.

A few years passed, and Blazer was found by a Pokemon breeder, who took him in and cared for him. The breeder soon offered him a Fire Stone, which he took in his paws mostly because it was so pretty. He evolved into a Flareon, and the breeder gave him the name he now goes by, "Blazer". The was moving to Veilstone with him when the rebellion was getting fully underway, and a flock of Starlys pecked his trainer to death. He ran for the gates of Veilstone, horrified by the act of these Pokemon. He was let for the most part because the Starlys had chased after him next, but also because he'd been with the breeder and they'd seen the incident. He now stays in Veilstone, going along the streets and trying to make friends with another human.
