Dark Koala vs. Mad MOAI

I guess start out with Icy Wind to get rid of that Substitute, and then use Signal Beam - unless the substitute's still there, in which case use Icy Wind again. After that, go ahead and Scald.

Icy Wind ~ Signal Beam / Icy Wind ~ Scald

Okay, so I know Hoshi will regain his vision soon, so how 'bout another Flash. And I dont trust that Substitute, so use Protect in case it fails, but use Round if it stays up. And if it DOES stay up for the second turn, its not gonna last a third, so use Protect. And if it doesnt stay up during the second turn, use Energy Ball. (I hope this makes sense Ι:3)

Round Four

Moving considerably faster than before, Drake charged more light in his helmet, then zipped to stand directly in front of the immobilized Horsea, then released a searing flash of light to further disorient his opponent. Hoshi blinked rapidly, trying to clear its vision of the bright spots that had flared to life; snorting in frustration, he took a deep inhale and threw caution to the wind.

Blindly, he fired a burst of cold air at Drake, who, being in close range, couldn't escape quite fast enough. Luckily for him, the grass Seedot figure hopped in front of the attack, which blew a good third of its body apart as it protected its creator. Drake breathed a sigh of relief as he remembered that he had created that thing; it was easy to forget things in the heat of battle. He took in a deep breath of his own, then sang at the top of his lungs until they were raw. Hoshi screwed up his face in agony as the tone-deaf Seedot's voice threatened to burst his eardrums. Angered, he blasted another cold wind at Drake, only to have it intercepted once more by the Substitute, who blew to pieces under the force of the wind.

Alarmed by the loss of his meatshield, Drake quickly threw up a translucent green Protect barrier, as Hoshi prepared his next attack. Boiling water bubbled up in his mouth as he boiled his water-producing gland; a sudden stabbing headache caused him to falter, keeping the water in his snout for a bit too long and burning his own flesh instead. Spluttering, tears running down his face, Hoshi let the rapidly cooling, but still warm, water gush down his torso as the round came to a close and Drake dropped his protective shield.

Icy Wind- 6% damage, 4% energy

Notes:
-Chlorophyll made the Pokemon's base speeds equal, making everything a speed tie.
-Except Hoshi is paralyzed so that doesn't matter anyway because he's always moving last.
-Hoshi confusefailed on the last action.
-Interestingly, he would've paralyzefailed if he hadn't rolled a confusefail.
-The second Icy Wind killed the Sub.
-Everything costs less energy now that I'm using the shiny new calculator.
-Scald would have been less power anyway due to it being sunny.
-The first Flash wore off on the first action.
-The weather is Sunny Day.
-Cubone attacks next.

Okay, let's use Shadow Ball for no apparent reason, and let's use Double Team just to make sure Hoshi doesnt land a hit. Then, just Chill.

This is a bit of a troublesome situation, isn't it? For now, start off with Icy Wind again. Then, since there will be clones, use Razor Wind, but take a turn to charge first so the clones can all get in place.

Round Five

Drake's helmet-stem began charging an attack, this time an orb of black, crackling Ghost energy. After it had grown to sufficient size, the Seedot fired his Shadow Ball, which undulated oddly through the air as it approached its target. Hoshi braced himself, taking the brunt of the attack with his head lowered and shaving off a bit of the damage; his sleek, scaly exterior felt bruised and weakened afterward, though there was no evidence of physical harm. He attempted to spring forwards, but froze in midair and toppled to the ground, paralysis immobilizing him again.

Drake laughed a scratchy, muffled laugh, then began to hop in place, bounding higher and higher, faster and faster until there were seven of him, all standing on each other's heads. Grinning with their eyes, they disassembled from their totem pole and spread out along the ground, perfect replicas of each other even in their movements. Hoshi shook his head and broke free of its paralysis for the moment, sucking in the surrounding air while flexing the muscles in his snout in a circular fashion, to get the wind spinning dangerously in his maw. Drake, meanwhile--all seven of him--sat down on their haunch-nubs and relaxed, safe for the time being.

Electricity fizzled across his skin, but Hoshi fought against it, struggling to release the blades of swirling wind that threatened to shred the inside of his mouth. A funnel of concentrated air blasted from him with a shout, visible shuriken-like spinning blades shooting across the battlefield, passing through all of Drake's clones and buffeting him madly, going so far as to knock him off of his feet. As he hopped upright, the Omskivar singalled the round's end.

I think we should go with another Icy Wind again, just to be safe... and then we can mix things up a little. So after that use Smokescreen, and then follow up with a Swift so we can get a good hit in with the smoke...

Okay, to avoid that Icy Wind, use Dig. And now to test something. On the second turn of Dig, combine it with a Quick Attack. Let's hope this works.

Round Six

Drake leapt high into the air, turning over to land on his stem and turning like a drill. A dust cloud swirled aroudn him, and when it cleared there was nothing left but a hole in the ground. Hoshi blew a gust of cold air at it, but it chilled nothing but the earth, leaving a layer of frost on the grass. Hoshi looked around for his opponent, then flew into the air as the ground erupted beneath him, showering him with clods of dirt as Drake delivered a blazingly fast, sharp kick to his ribs. Hoshi landed on his side and began to cough, so vigorously that thick black smoke poured out of hs snout and flooded the arena. Drake took a bit of time to recuperate after that taxing maneuver, coughing a bit because of the smoke. All of the sudden, a volley of sharp five-pointed stars struck him from somewhere in the haze. The Omskivar waved his flag.

-Dig and Quick Attack can be combined, and the result was a 120-power priority Ground attack. The only thing it did was boost power because Seedot is faster than Horsea right now, accounting for Chlorophyll.
-This was a very short and straightforward round. Very sorry it took so long.

Round Seven
Thunder pierced the sky, and a torrent of rain fell from the heavens, clouds instantenously obscuring the sun.

Drake fired yet another Energy Ball, this one striking Hoshi directly in the face. As it hit, Hoshi's eyes froze, unmoving, unblinking. He did nothing at all, made no effort to rise after he toppled to the grass, and stared blankly into the sky as Drake fired another attack, which sent Hoshi reeling into a tree, propped upside down on his head. After this attack, the Horsea's eyes snapped back to attention, and from his snout burst a beam of pure white energy as Hoshi unleashed his pains and injuries on the opponent it one overwhelming attack that sent Drake flying into the air to land on his back, hard, on the soggy ground. Covered in mud, winded, Drake took the opportunity to rest up a bit and conserve energy.

Round Eight
As the thunder shook the trees, Hoshi flopped into a small ditch that was slowly filling with rain water. Within a few seconds, he found he was able to float in a little puddle, and felt much more at home. He settled down and simply bobbed there, refreshing his tired muscles and preparing himself for his last stand--but alas, as he took his short caucus, Drake came up from behind and fired an Energy Ball point-blank into his back. Letting out a final sigh, Hoshi's eyes rolled back into his head, and he rolled belly-up in the rain. Mad MOAI recalled his Pokemon and selected another.

Hah! Solas smirks to himself. A Grass-type, and on its last legs to boot. He's won already! Taking a step forward, Solas begins flapping his wings, producing a low, droning hum that ratchets up in volume as his wings vibrate faster and faster. The sound wave that's unleashed when he reaches top speed is positively deafening, at least as far as he can tell from how his opponent's rolling around on the grass in agony, lacking any appendages to use to cover his ears. (Curiously, though, all that the others on the field hear is a faint buzzing sound.) He slows his wings, sure that that should be enough to finish Drake off, but the Seedot slowly rolls to his feet and becomes enveloped by a white glow. Bright light radiates from him as he takes on the form of a brilliant sphere that rises into the air, expanding outward. Realizing what's going to happen, Solas backs away, attempting to shield his face with his tiny hands... and then the sound of a sudden crack of thunder overhead makes him start, bracing himself for an impact that doesn't come. The real thing happens when he looks up a few seconds later: the Seedot releases all his built-up energy in a massive, uncontrolled explosion that throws Solas way back into a tree in a blinding flash of light. Sharp bits of bark rain down on him, leaving cuts and nicks all over his skin. When the light fades enough that he can squint against it with only some difficulty, there's nothing of his opponent to be seen; all that's left is a smoking crater in the middle of the field, a few bits of what may or may not be Seedot (he doesn't want to think about that) scattered around it.
