I know several of you might have been old members, and now's your chance to help us improve: we're undergoing renovations this month, and some of our current ideas already sound great: A 'rank'-based system for rewards, an activity-based spriting system (and an 'elite spriter' system similar to the old one), staff changes (polls are currently going on for that), and much more. There is currently a .hack and Pokémon crossover RP taking signups, as well as a online and real life gift-giving extravaganza called Ladiyule, and an artist's Secret Santa. We have a great community and a lot of forum culture. Oh, and we give good crit. 
As far as our spritng goes, we specialize in Pokemon spriting, but also accept all other kinds of pixelart and visual arts. We are one of the last active forums that focuses on Pokemon spriting, and we're all nice people, and will give you criticism without totally smashing your ego. We accept spriters of all levels, whether you've just started recoloring or have made mockups, and we have advice for everyone.
If you used to be a member, think of coming back at this pivotal time. If you were never a member, now's the perfect time to join!
