I just remembered something which, in the past, I ignored. But it's came to my attention that it may mean something.

On the front of my Gold cartridge, (which I have had since it was released) ,which in every other way seems normal (Gold and sparkly, shiny sticker, picture of Ho-Oh, Pokémon logo and so on) instead of 'Gold Version', it says 'Goldene Edition' (Yes, spelt exactly like that). Does anyone have any idea whether this is meant to be so?

Let me check mine...

Mine says "Gold", so I'd say it was an accident.

Then again, I have an American version, so...

Also, it looks like Goldeen. ^^

I never saw anything like that on my cartridge. Mine just says "Gold Version." Might of been a misnomer or something like that.

I have the American version so I'm not sure if that was intentional or not.

"Goldene Edition" is the German name. You have a German sticker on your cartridge.
