Appearance: Graham looks perhaps Indian, or maybe he's just tan; it's hard to tell and he has no idea what background his olive skin comes from. His eyes are almond-shaped and a dark, liquid brown. His hair matches the shade, and it hangs in thick, straight clumps from his head. He has a pair of reading glasses, but he doesn't really need them that much.

Graham is also tall, although he's actually a tad shorter than he may look, since he's also quite thin. 'Willowy' might be the word, or perhaps 'gangly' if you're feeling less poetic. His fingernails generally remain unclipped, and Graham is often seen cleaning them on his apron.

Said apron, which he wears more out of habit than anything, is a pale red in color, contrasting with Graham's normal choices of dark grays and greens. It has a blue half a poké ball symbol on it. He wears a pair of black loafers or, if he has to do some walking, a faded pair of white tennis shoes. Around his neck hangs a golden circle pendent with a '◘' in the center. It's on a steel necklace and he will kill you if you steal it. Fair warning. He's also got a case on his hip that holds his Sinnoh Pokédex.

Personality: Graham can seem quiet and introverted at first; mostly since he's quiet and introverted at first. He opens up very quickly, though, and then it's hard to shut him up once you've gained 'friend' status. He's somber when the need comes, though, and can be quite serious.

Graham has great parental instinct, and will often pick up little (or big[!]) pokémon when he sees them. That's not to say Graham is stupid and doesn't know that a wild sentret'll bite him; he just can't help but greet every friendly pokémon he sees. And lots of them seem to be friendly around him. He's also not above berating people for mistreatment of their pokémon.

Bio: As may have mentioned before, Graham was born and raised in Sinnoh; his father was the town university's Professor of Pokémon Behavior, his mother a breeder by birth. He took to both of his parents' professions in a heartbeat, and, at the age of fifteen, was stricken with wanderlust. He headed out with his trust Kricketune and had an asexual old time, but soon Sinnoh became a tad boring. Graham had always wanted to visit Johto, and so he did, at age sixteen and one half.

Of course, he caught wind of the stirrings of the Nightmare Gang or something, researched it a bit, and was horrified into action; he joined up and is really rather focused on saving the poor Shadow pokémon and humans than anything.

Dislikes: Bad trainers, that stupid default voice for the Hoenn Pokédex (thank mew he got the voice upgrade before it went out of production)

Team: A male xatu and a female espeon that could be considered hers, but are used for security because of their psychic skills. The espeon is also a pet, and is named Ella.
The Xatu has no name.
Appearance: A blackish-blue face has resulted from her absol DNA, but her skin is pale everywhere else. She has long, white hair, often worn pushed to the side. She has the scythe of an Absol, but it is much smaller. She wears black suits often, and doesn't wear many casual things. Her eyes are crimson like an absol's. She wears mostly black or red high heels.
Personality: Susan shows little emotion other than strain, irritation, and anger from her shadow absol DNA. She has been praised for such obedience, and as such shows even less other than ferociousness when around superiors. She has a soft spot for Ella, caring for her and being one of the few she actually releases her feelings. Susan is very protective of Ella, and rarely allows others be near her if she or Ella doesn't trust them. She gets very enraged if you deny her 'request' to leave Ella alone.
Bio: Susan was going to be coordinator, but when she heard that her absol was stolen, she came to take it back. Then, she saw Team Rocket.

Appearance: James is only five feet nine inches tall, and has dark brown, short hair. He generally wears a white lab coat and white pants, along with wearing dark glasses on his face. His eyes are dull brown, and he usually wears dark gloves.

Personality: James is a torn man. On one hand, he believes in the progression of mankind, and that is why he has subjected several people to the process of becoming Shadow Trainers. On the other hand, he is tormented by the horrific deeds that many Shadow Trainers have committed (one Shadow Trainer in particular,) and sees himself as responsible for those actions. He prefers not to fight, and spends most of his time researching ways to improve Shadow Trainers - Placido is an example of his attempts to create a Shadow Trainer that displayed no traits of the pokemon DNA that it had been given. If he sees it absolutely necessary, he will engage in battle, but will usually take the coward's way out and leave it to someone that would be more capable at the job - though sometimes, he'll be forced against his will to take part in a battle.

Bio: James never thought of being a conventional pokemon trainer, not even as a kid. Instead, he spent most of his young life studying differences in human and pokemon DNA, and how to best circumvent those differences. Generally, when he did leave his home, it was either for school or for sending a message to someone in the local area. When he turned twenty, he began to take more active ventures into the field of science, and was quite the contributor to learning new ways of pokemon evolution, and reviving pokemon from fossils. This eventually caught the attention of Team Nightmare, and he was invited to join their research group. He accepted, and soon became a valuable member for Shadow Trainer conversion. Things seemed to be going well, until he saw just how horrific the actions of the Shadow Trainers were, and he was even more tormented by the fact that he had been an avid contributor to their actions. He was tempted to quit, but realized that he had dug himself too far into the organization, and resigned himself to that fate. That is, until he helped take part in the conversion of Placido, who turned out to be a complete monster - a Shadow Trainer, to be sure, but one that had little morals and a love for battle. Since then, James has devoted his work to completely perfecting the brainwashing process, so that Shadow Trainers would be mere soldiers under the command of Team Nightmare, with not only no free will but no minds of their own. He is doing this in hopes that there won't be any more rogues, nor will there be any overly vicious Shadow Trainers. These tests are occasionally interrupted by a demand that he go on some other mission with a Shadow Trainer.

Likes: Delving into new possibilities for Shadow Trainers, finding out new information

Dislikes: Going into battle, the overly violent Shadow Trainers, Placido's love for battle.

Relationships: None, for now

Other: On the chance that he does go off on a mission with Placido, he will act as an occasional source of Morality for the Shadow Trainer.

-Andy, being Mike’s only Pokémon, is very close to Mike, and seems to have taken on his happy-go-lucky nature, even as a Shadow Pokémon.
Badges/Ribbons: None yet; he was just about to start his journey.
Appearance: Mike’s fairly short for a ten-year-old, only about four feet tall. His short hair is messy and black, and his eyes are blue. His usual attire is a gray t-shirt and jeans, as well as blue sneakers. He’s always seen with a red backpack and one of many hats, which he seems to wear solely because…well, he likes hats.
Personality: Mike, despite his status as a Shadow Trainer, is actually incredibly perky. He’s almost always seen with a smile on his face and acts as a sort of comic relief to the other members. He sees battles as a source of entertainment, so he tends to act a little bit showy when he’s battling. Besides all this, he has a bit of a temper (particularly upon mention of his shortness), though whether this is due to his Torchic DNA or not is debatable.
He also loves music, and is known around the base for singing. A lot.
Bio: Mike grew up in Hoenn, Fortree City to be exact, and was picked on a bit due to his shortness. He dreamed of the day he could leave the town (perhaps the entire region!) to entertain the world with his Pokémon; not as a coordinator (cause that was way too girly), but as a simple Trainer. Finally, his tenth birthday came, and with that, his ticket out of Fortree! He made his way to Professor Birch’s lab in Littleroot Town, where he picked his starter, a Torchic that he promptly named Andy. With his parents’ permission, he set off for Johto, eager to start over and show the world what he was made of!
Unfortunately, he picked the worst possible ship to go on.
Team Nightmare had heard rumors that a great Trainer was aboard this ship, so they took the entire vessel captive, along with its passengers. Once the ship had docked at their base near Cianwood City, all those aboard had their Pokémon seized and turned into Shadow Pokémon. Mike put up a fight for his new partner, but sadly, he was overwhelmed by the much older and much bigger Nightmare agents.
Nightmare figured that he could be an asset to their team, as he was already willing to go to extreme lengths to save a Pokémon he had only just gotten. They decided to turn him into a Shadow Trainer, hoping that, due to his young age, he would easily be influenced by their ideals.
Likes: music, Andy, fire-types
Dislikes: La Resistance, people calling him short, silence
Relationships: He looks up to Angeline as a mentor and a big sister figure.
Other: He was gonna be a member of the resistance, but then the explosion of people occurred. His theme song is “Little People” from Les Misérables, and he’s often found singing that.

Depends who you are; La Resistance is scattered throughout Johto, and the headquarter for Nightmare is in Goldenrod.

Appearance:Adam has an average height and weight for a fourteen year old. He has blue-green eyes, and he has had to wear glasses since he was five. He has brown, shoulder length hair, which is usually unkempt. He always carries around a textbook, titled Complete Pokemon Battle Strategy, Grade 12 and a notebook which contains his own personal battling strategies and tactics. Occasionally wears a cap with the Triforce eagle crest from The Legend of Zelda. Personality: Adam is very timid, but he will fight if he needs to. He is also a bit reckless, and he has a good sense of humor. He is sometimes thought of as a geek, always keeping his head in books. One of his favorite things to do is to listen to a CD player, losing himself in his music

Bio: Adam spent his childhood in Petalburg city, though he wasn't very much into battling. He did, however, catch a few pokemon. When he was 8, he got his starter, a shiny Ralts. He traveled a lot with his parents, battling a few people along the way. When he was 10, he owned a Kirlia, a Zangoose and an Absol.

When Adam turned eleven, his parents took him on vacation to the Sinnoh region. While on a walk in a dense forest, he tripped over a small, hard stone that, in his opinion, sparkled like the dawn. He decided, as a nice gesture, to give it to his Kirlia. When he did, he was blinded by a flash of light. When he opened his eyes, a Gallade was standing in front of him.

After the trip, Adam's parents announced they were moving. He packed his bags and arrived in pewter city. When he turned twelve, he began studying day and night, perfecting strategies and reading advanced textbooks. When he believed he was ready, he asked his parents to let him go on a pokemon journey. After a week of fighting ,they finally ddecided to let him go. in a year and a half, he beat all 8 Kanto gym leaders, but lost when challenged Lorelli of the E4. He decided to try heading to Johto. His current progress is Two badges, about to face Whitney, and he has also caught and trained a Sanslash, a Scyther and a Kabutops. He has only recently become aware of how Nightmare has been gripping the region, and will do anything to stop the appaling events. He is more concerned about his own gym challenge, though. He is currently in Goldenrod, walking out of the pokemon center.

Likes: battling, video games, chicken broccoli alfredo, a team with a variety of types, thinking things out first, reading, listening to Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco

Dislikes: contests, cold pasta salad, a common weakness, losing, Nightmare, steel types, acting without a plan, homework.

Relationships. No. Adam is always hopeful that he will eventually get a girlfriend, but tends to be a bit hopeless, and he hasn't had much luck.
