• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

To what extent do you mod your games, if at all? Share some here!

I don't own all that many moddable games, but I do like to have fun occasionally.

I think the only games I have that are easily modded are ones that use the source engine. Garry's Mod is an obvious one, but I do sometimes mess around with the other games. Like I've played a game of Left 4 Dead 2 set in Kokiri Forest from Ocarina of Time, while playing as the cast of K-ON!
This one time I forgot I'd modded Half-Life 2 and was surprised when I played it after a long time and Alyx looked like Zelda.

One game I own which I think is moddable is GTA 4, but I don't own a PC good enough to play it so I can't even play the game properly yet :(

I play heavily modded Minecraft, to the point that I can't play it without mods. The only other game I mod is Skyrim, which is mostly aesthetic, utility, and lore-friendly mods I get off the Steam workshop.

Minecraft is pretty heavily modded for me, too. I've also modded Spore and the Sims a fair bit, and I'll start modding Skyrim once I get a controller for it. Playing with the touchpad is just bad, and the optical mouse isn't much better.

Vanilla Skyrim is borderline unplayable, as is Dark Souls. So yay mods.
