Right, this is my first attempt at GMing a game of Mafia and only my third game overall, so I might be being overly ambitious in presenting what is, to my limited knowledge, a fairly atypical game of mafia. But nothing ventured, nothing gained.
The catch here is that the mafia of this game, the Mirror People, aren't killing people, but assimilating them. As such, if someone is targeted by their leader, the Mirror Master, they will remain in the game. However, in the interest of unfairness, the inspector character, the Mysterious Stranger, has a set of magical scales that will show how many of the townspeople are human and how many are from another dimension. With this information, the townspeople may then vote on a member to behead.
--------
The Mirror People - Win condition; total assimilation of all players
The Mirror Master: A powerful and mysterious individual from another dimension with the power to create perfect copies of people. He wishes to take control of the small town of Ojepso. Each night, the Mirror Master selects one person to turn into a Mirrorman. When killed or examined by the Mysterious Stranger, he shows up as unearthly.
The Mirrormen: The Mirror Master's minions, clones of the people of Ojepso, identical in all aspects except for their total subservience to the Mirror Master's will. They are aware of their master's intent, as such, if the Mirror Master is not able to select who he wants to assimilate, they can make the selection on his behalf, though the Mirror Master's word is law. If the Mirror Master is killed, his spirit will take over the body of one of his followers, who will then become the new Mirror Master. When killed or examined by the Mysterious Stranger, they shows up as unearthly.
The Mirror Cultist: A freak who worships mirrors and the Mirror Master. His dream is to become a Mirrorman and aid the Mirror Master in his quest to take over Ojepso. The Mirror People are not aware of him but he is aware of the Mirror Master, though he is too in awe of his idol to contact him. If killed or inspected, he will show up as earthly.
However, if the Cultist is chosen to be assimilated by the Mirror Master, he will become a much more dangerous and powerful threat, The Mirror Priest. At any point during the day phase, the Priest can select one person to sacrifice to the Mirror Master by typing Sacrifice [player name]. Doing so will empower the Mirror Master to cast an unnatural darkness upon the town, immediately ending the day phase. However, the Mirror Priest will then be torn to shreds by the enraged citizens. If inspected by the Mysterious Stranger, he will show up as unearthly.
The People of Ojespo - Win condition; death of all Mirrormen
The Mysterious Stranger: The Mysterious Stranger was called to Ojespo after a murder victim was found to have blue blood, exposing him as a Mirrorman. He is gifted with great knowledge of the Mirror Master and his minions, as well as tools for fighitng them. Too avoid being targeted by the Mirror Master, the Stranger has not revealed his identity to the populace. The Mysterious Stranger has a set of scales that reveal the amount of people who have been assimilated by the Mirrormen at the beginning of every day phase.
Once every night, the Mysterious Stranger can cut another player and examine their blood to discover whether they are earthly or unearthly. The Stranger himself will show up as earthly if killed.
If the Mysterious Stranger is assimilated, he becomes The Mirror Templar, having resisted the Mirror Master's control through sheer force of will. Desperate to end the Mirror Master's reign of terror, the Templar may select one person to kill every night. Due to rejecting his connection with the Mirror Master, he is unaware of other Mirrormen and will show up as unearthly if killed.
The Alchemists: Though Ojespo has outlawed alchemy, two rival alchemists, Miss Lead and Mister Ee, secretly dwell there. Each night, they make choose to give another player a dose of their Amazing Lazarus Solution, which will save them from death or assimilation for one night. However, if they both give ALS to the same person, that person will be turned into a zombie before dying a slow, painful death. Anyone killed by alchemical overdose will, as such, show up as unearthly when inspected. The alchemists themselves will show up as earthly.
Unless, of course, they have been assimilated and turned into Mirror Sorcerers. Each night, a Mirror Sorcerer may choose to obscure the alignment of one other player. If that person is killed or inspected in the same night phase, they will show up as the opposite alignment. If the Mirror Sorcerers are killed, they will show up as unearthly.
The Whore: Each night, she may choose to sleep with another member of the town, hiding them from the Mirrormen and preventing them performing their night action in the process. If killed or inspected, she will show up as earthly.
If assimilated, she will become The Mircubus, a powerful demoness. On one night in the game, she may choose to infect someone with an STT - a sexually-transmitted transmogrification, turning them into a Mirrorman. If killed or inspected, she will show up as unearthly.
The Stalker: Not all there in the head, the Stalker is an obsessive creep. At the start of the game, he chooses a stalkee to follow around. If his stalkee is targeted during the night phase, he will intervene and offer his own life in their place. If killed or inspected, he will show up as earthly.
If assimilated, he will become The Mirror Symbiote. Overcome by the Mirror Master's power, on the third night after his assimilation, he will turn his stalkee into a Mirrorman. If inspected, he will show up as unearthly.
The Pastor: Ojespo's local parishioner, he is suspicious of the Mysterious Stranger, believing him to be vampire, and is the only townsperson aware of his identity. At any point during the day phase, he may lose his cool and attack the Stranger with a stake by typing Stake the Stranger!. If the Stranger is still human, then he will simply be killed by the Pastor. However, if the Stranger is now the Mirror Templar, the Pastor's attack will break the Templar's resistance to the Mirror Master's control and the Mirror Master will assimilate the Pastor. If killed or inspected, he will show up as earthly.
If the Pastor is assimilated, he becomes The Mirror Saint. If he is assimilated during the night phase, he will burn away the darkness with a purging light and the night phase will immediately end; all night actions after his assimilation are cancelled. If he is assimilated during the day phase, he will be cut down by the townspeople, who will be too shaken to vote on a beheading. If killed or inspected, he will show up as unearthly.
The Other
The Eldritch Cultist: The worshipper of an unholy extrareal monster from beyond time and space, he has been impregnated with the fetus of his sleeping god. If killed or inspected, he will show up as earthly.
If targeted by the Mirror Master, the fetus will be stimulated by the Mirror Master's magic and begin developing, turning the Cultist into The Vessel of the Apocalypse. If the Vessel is targeted by the Mirror People a second time, then the magic will destroy the fetus and kill him. However, if the Vessel is beheaded by the townspeople or killed by the Priest, Templar or an overdose, his death will act as a catlyst for his god's birth and the world as we know it will come to a slow shuddering halt. If inspected by the Mysterious Stranger, he will show up as unearthly.

I'm looking for 10 people for this game.
