• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Yes sir, I am some sort of jackass.
Prolougue: New region, new pokemon

In the world of pokemon, the viewer of the episodes and fan-fics are always being introduced to new regions, and thus new pokemon, and new people.

Welcome to the Hokone region, where, for awhile, a relative amount of peace has presided over the region, meaning that people can go about there buisness, battle, and enjoy being close to their pokemon. But there is a dark, impending shadow looms over the entire region. There have been recent reports of dark, shadowy figures stealing people's pokemon. Police have been cracking down on any suspicious people to make sure they have not stolen these pokemon.

Every child near the age of ten(the time one can start thier pokemon journey) have been sent notifications to report mysterious people to the authorities ASAP. In particular there is one ten year old, who, in addition to trying to become a pokemon champ, has set out with a lv. 5 Charmander(Yes, a Charmander in a different region as a starter) to take down this shadowy organization and free the stolen pokemon.

Is this a story? It doesn't seem like a prologue-- for one thing, it's too short. And it's all exposition. It doesn't seem particularly interesting, really. Anything that uses "dark" and "shadowy" more than once sort of reduces my opinion of it.

Also, spellcheck. "Their," not "thier." "A while," not "awhile." Make your evil team interesting, and not just stealing Pokemon for shits and giggles. And read this.

You don't know why your evil team is stealing Pokemon? Maybe you should ask them, you know, when you actually create their leader. Which you should do immediately. Just a tip.
