Kai's first ever Nuzlocke Run(Leafgreen)!

So I started my first Nuzlocke Run a few days ago. I've beat Brock already. My current team consists of...

RICK the Pokemon Trainer
CARL the Squirtle(Level 15, Brave nature, Strongest stat besides HP is Defense, Weakest stat is Speed, knows Tackle, Water Gun, Bubble, and Withdraw)
and
ANDREA the Rattata(Level 14, Naughty nature, Strongest stat besides HP is Speed, Weakest stats are SP.ATK and SP.DEF, knows Tackle, Tail Whip, Quick Attack, and Hyper Fang).

I want to see who's the first to notice the theme with the names. I'll update this every time I get a gym badge or have a death. Or something major like that. By the way I'm playing this on my actually LG version, not a rom, so I can't post any pictures. Also you can suggest names for the next Pokemon I catch as long as it follows the theme.

The names ring a bell, but I really can't remember. ^^; What are your clauses? And did you catch anything in Viridian?

I only follow the first two rules:
You can only catch the first pokemon in an area.
and If a pokemon faints it dies. In Viridian I ran into a female Caterpie. I was going to name her Michonne, but she died before I could catch her. So I caught a Zubat and named her Michonne instead.
