• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Ideas please!

I'd like to have some kind of project that I could work on on my PC. I am pretty sure I am intelligent enough to learn any kind of coding, and ideally I'd like to be able to put the final product on my website and for it to attract at least some views. So, do any of you have any ideas for something I could learn to do?

p.s. sorry for being so lazy by posting this thread - I really couldn't think of anything...

Seconding Game Maker, as it's free (so long as you stick with Lite).

That being said, if you can get Flash, go for it. Anything embeddable would attract viewers.

So, should I use use Game Maker, Flash CS4 or something completely different?

EDIT: also, what should I make with them?
