The thing near my avatar that says "egg" with a picture of an egg... I've seen some people with Caterpie and Metapod there. How do I change that? Does it go up with post count or something?

50 for caterpie, 200 for metapod, 1000 for butterfree.
 
There probably are but people would need to spam more to get it at this point in time, most likely.

if I recall correctly, on the invisionfree forums there were Scyther, Flygon, Charizard, Dragonite, and Rayquaza. I think the first vbulletin's ranks were similar, but I could be mistaken as I wasn't really active there.

As more and more people cross 1,000 posts those ranks might (... might!) be introduced. I'm fairly certain Butterfree is the final rank as of now because there aren't any Scyther, Flygon etc. images in the ranks directory.
