ZORA vs. DWAGIE III: THE REREDRUNKENING - IN SPACE

Finally legally banned from any facility which serves alcohol down on terra, the drunken duo find themselves at a loss for the location of their inbibed escapades. Of course, the sky's the limit for these two~ And with a healthy dose of applied phlebotinum, the two trainers have managed to make their way to the orbital space station (which totally exists, the government is holding out on you) and found themselves a nice little dive that doesn't seem too interested in the news from the ground. Actually, it's a little TOO nice, what with all the neon, and chrome, and scantily clad space-dudes in vinyl future-duds looking a bit repulsed at the two girl's presence... (Must be something about being ground-dwellers, hm?) So what kind of battlefield is this?
Well, apparently when two trainers get drunk they find it to be a good idea to get their Pokémon drunk, as well, no matter where they may be. Noone really knows why, but it's probably in a similar vein to beer goggles. Of course, neither trainer is in much of a state to issue commands, and their Pokémon will soon be in no state to listen.

Upon being chosen each Pokémon is served gratuitous amounts of alcohol and set off on their way to have a go at each other.. if they can stay on their feet. The barkeep seems concerned for a change, but is sort of just keeping his distance as if to say 'take what you want a leave, you space-rabble'.
Moves are selected completely random, similar to Metronome, from the Pokémon's available move pool. Any move may be used, included OHKO's, however should they hit they cannot break the damage cap and will deal an instant 50% tops.
Both Pokémon being lit off their arses will have an inflated ego and a boosted pain tolerance; essentially giving them both 150% HP and letting them go longer.
The bar is full of flashy and amusingly destructible objects, as well; and arena damage will become apparent. Apparently, the barkeep doesn't seem to take into consideration supernatural powers. Hopefully soon he will~

In this state the competitors will be less than capable of holding a steady battle. Every action there is a 5% chance of either Pokémon falling victim to temporary negative effects. There is an equal chance of one of four actions happened:

Falling asleep: The Pokémon will completely nod out, lowering both its defences by 3 stages until awoken and waking up after either 3 actions or after being struck by an offensive move.

Vomiting: The Pokémon will empty its stomach.. all over their opponent's face. This will totally gross their opponent out, and lower their defences by 3 stages for 3 actions.

Falling over: The Pokémon will completely lose its balance and fall right on its arse, causing them to lose that action and be inflicted with mild confusion.

Punchdrunk Swing: The Pokémon will forgo its supernatural powers in favour of slugging their opponent in the face. This will deal 5% untyped damage at 70% accuracy.


In addition, there is a 50% chance every round that 'someone' will fiddle with the gravity controls, causing the battle to become Zero-G (Or revert to normal gravity if it already is) and having these effects:

Everything, and everyone will be unbound to the floor. Unless the competitor has something to propel themselves off of (if they're even in the state of mind to do so...) or are otherwise latched onto their opponent already, contact moves will fail. (Note that ghosts and other gravity defying levitators will be too drunk to release they can probably move freely, anyway, and so are still prone to this.)

There is a 20% chance of drunkenly smashing into someone, or something, with no ways to reasonably navigate even while sober. Having this occur deals 3% untyped damage and cancels the move for that action.

On the other hand, there's a 5% chance of (some how) catching a flying bottle of space-booze midair. It may be a bit hard to consume without gravity, but it will restore 5% health or energy (an equal chance for either) on that action instead of a move.

And of course, as if keeping their stomachs contained wasn't hard enough on the ground, the spinny crashy shininess of Zero-G will cause either competitor to vomit at a 20% chance - filling the air with flying spew, and lowering both the defences of both competitors by -1 per occurrence. (Up to -6) This effect is cancelled when the gravity in switched back on and everything falls back to the floor.

And finally, when gravity is switched back on at the start of a round, both competitors will take 5% untyped falling/gracelessly crashing damage. (Does not cost an action.)

Two ladies, apparently insisting on randomness and drunken chaos, have decided to slug it out in a bar. Not any bar, mind you. The Galactic Cock is not your average tavern. It's located in a space station and is probably not the best place to have a battle. Glass bottles line a series of shelves behind the counter. There are chrome tables and chairs which have been set aside for the battle. Neon lights are constantly pulsating while loud music is blasting from the high-tech speakers. The other patrons have gathered in a corner, apparently pissed at the trainers having comandeered the bar.

Dwagie and Zora enter the bar, head straight for the counter and grab a few beers. Both clutching a hefty mug of beer, they head toward opposite directions for the battle.
They both send out their pokemon, who happily drink up. Dwagie sputters a few words as Zora starts babbling a random string of sentences. The referee, not understanding the joys of being drunk, just shrugs his shoulders before waving two flags to signal the start of the battle.

Chimani starts off the battle with a few tipsy strides. Too drunk to actually pay attention to her trainer, she decided to do something just so she doesn't waste an action. She splutters a bit, having drank too much beer , and starts snoring - or at least, that's what she is trying to do. Because she's had a little too much to drink, she doesn't realize that she's not asleep and continues "snoring". Unfortunately for Koffi Kat, Chimani's snores aren't merely random grunts. A fountain of mucus and beer spews out of Chimani's nose, and Koffi Kat cringes as she feels the sticky liquid drench her.

Koffi Kat, disgusted by her opponent, decides to create a substitute that'll prevent her from getting soaked in any more snot. Apparently not having anything to construct the substitute with, she grabs a couple of beer bottles, stacks them so they slightly look like her, and imbues them with some life force. As soon as the bottles have enough life force, Koffi Kat starts strutting about. She starts getting her swagger on and suddenly acquires a very cocky aura. She starts spluttering, in broken speech, how she is obviously far superior compared to her opponent. Her appeal and charm obviously outweigh her opponent's crude "Chimani smaaash" attitude. Anyone with even a little bit of sense would clearly prefer her over the freak of nature she was battling.

Enraged by her opponent's speech, Chimani can't resist going on a rampage. On top of all the beer she drank, her rage is enough fuel for her to become severely confused. She tries to summon the sun's rays, but she is simply in no condition to do such a mentally taxing task. Instead of calling on the sun, all she manages to do is to crash into the counter, destroying a couple of pedestals along the way.

Koffi Kat can't help but be a little unnerved by her opponent's sudden rage. She starts exuding a blue aura while being determined to not faint. She focuses herself on surviving no matter what happens and braces herself for the worst.

Her determination to survive is useless, however, since for some reason, Chimani decided to bite her own leg. She furiously tears at her hind leg and bites it with all her might. The pain does nothing but further infuriate her.

Koffi Kat's ego is further inflated by her opponent's mistake, and she is simply amused at her opponent's pathetic attempt.

~Since both of you won't be issuing commands, I guess some random drunk stuff will do... and order of issuing drunk commands doesn't matter

Round Two


Koffi Kat, currently amused by her opponenet, starts toying with the idea of further embarassing her opponent. A nasty burn would *hic* be absolutely delight-*hic*-ful, won't it?! Her movements a little tipsy, she starts conjuring up a blue ball of flames. Slowly increasing in size, the ball of fire starts to make Koffi Kat a bit uncomfortable, so it is sent flying through the air toward Chimani. Whoosh, goes the ball of flames. The little black fox winces in anticipation of the searing ball of fire. A moment passes. Nothing. Koffi Kat puts on a huge scowl after seeing her ball of flame whisk past the fox without even touching her. The blue flames crackle and fizzle as they hit a metal chair behind Chimani. The owner of the bar gawks at the damage he just witnessed. Too mortified by what he has just seen, he just stands there unmoving.

Chimani goes ahead with a move of her own. Her wings slightly growing as she readies the flames in her belly, she opens her mouth wide in preparation of her next attack. She starts walking forward; the resulting desplay is similar to a spinda tapdancing on burning coals. Although her steps are a little unsteady, she focuses herself for the flamethrower of her life. Time for revenge, you conceited ghost pussy. A burning pillar comes forth, and the flames start licking Koffi Kat's etherial form. Koffi Kat screams in horror, the flames being extremely painful even for her ghostly body. Well that's what Chimani thinks anyway. Just before the flamethrower hit, Koffi Kat's substitute suddenly appeared in front of Koffi Kat, shielding her from the flames. The screams were just for effect. Darn you! Chimani tries to think of a move she's seen before in battle. She's feeling extremely spiteful right now, so she focuses on a particularly painful move. The substitute then starts glowing. It floats slowly into the air, higher and higher, until it almost touches the ceiling. Chimani then releases her mental hold and sends the substitute hurtling toward the floor. The substitute finally breaks, and Koffi Kat is finally left defenseless.

Koffi Kat is slightly amused at her opponent's fighting spirit. She's not giving up, isn't she? Koffi Kat starts making eye contact with Chimani. Eyes glowing red, she tries to lull her opponent to sleep. Her eyes are especially transfixing under the disco lights. Chimani tries to fight back and avert her gaze, but she is transfixed. Her eyes are slowly drooping. She is becoming sleepy for some reason. Koffi Kat doesn't break eye-contact until she is sure her opponent has been succesfully lulled to sleep. Koffi Kat seems to enjoy glowing against the strobe lights. As soon as her eyes stop glowing, a black aura starts emitting from her ghostly form. The strobe lights further emphasize her creepy, dark appearance. The black aura quickly surrounds Koffi Kat as she waits for her opponent to make a move. The aura proves useless, however, since Chimani is sound asleep. It looks like Chimani'll be out for a while. The beer she's drank isn't helping her either.

Li'l Dwagie and Zora of Termina have decided to hump it up near the karaoke machine. "humphumphump," go the duo as they drunkenly enjoy their own singing. The other people at the bar don't seem pleased though. Many are complaining, and the bartender starts recovering from his trance. With his angry face - a huge scowl, eyes crossed, and eye brows merging to form one huge bushy unibrow, on, he grumpily trods toward the pair. Just as he is about to ban them for life for causing disturbances and chaos beyond measure, a shrill scream is heard all around the bar. With hands covering the place where his genitals are supposed to be, the bartender manages to hop on one foot and fall backwards from the pain due to Zora's mega-hyper "kick him where it counts" attack. Koffi Kat, forgetting the battle for a second, giggles at the spectacle.

Koffi Kat's temporary lack of concentration doesn't have any negative implications since Chimani is sound asleep. Curled in a ball similarly to a tiny cat, Chimani stirs slowly in her sleep. Aware that Chimani's not going to sleep forever, Koffi Kat decides to capitalize. Not completely rational due to the beer she's drank, Koffi Kat performs an attack at random. Eyes aglow, she focuses intently on the furball lying on the floor. She projects mental images of peaceful scenes - butterflies fluttering in the breeze, waves rolling in the ocean, and pokemon frolicking in the fields. Chimani doesn't show any reaction to the hypnotic suggestion, but one really wouldn't be able to know whether or not Koffi Kat's move was effective. Not hesistating to kick an opponent when she's down, Koffi Kat closes in on Chimani and delivers a swift punch. Chimani starts tossing around and groaning in her sleep as a faint green glow can be seen transferring from her to Koffi Kat. The air in the bar suddenly drops in temperature. The other patrons are quick to notice this and feel very clammy as a result. Howls emanate from the walls as spirits start emerging. A wind composed of angry spirits starts to pick up, starting as a tiny breeze and increasing in power until it becomes a strong gale. The spirits start attacking Chimani, clawing at her and making gashes in her skin. After a few seconds, finally satisfied with the destruction they have caused, the spirits fade away.

Due to the intense pain from the previous attack, Chimani finally wakes up. Realizing she's wasted a few actions by sleeping on the job, she doubles her effort to produce heat in her mouth. Fangs fully bared and ablaze, she starts off at a run and leaps towards Koffi Kat. With blazing spirits, she is able to reach a respectable height; she jumps so high that a Rapidash would've been proud to make that jump. Upon landing in front of Koffi Kat, she sinks her fangs in and savors the moment. Koffi Kat actually writhes in pain this time. Not bad. Not bad at all.

After disappearing for an extremely long time, I'm back. For formalities, DJ P0N-3 has 3 days to post commands.
 
The battle ends via DJ P0N-3's disqualification. Zora earns $8. Chimani and Koffi Kat get 1 experience each. Highmoon and I get $3 each.
